Generally my alarm goes off at 4:30am I get to the yard by 5:30am. Out pumping until about 4pm, washout, go get fuel on the way back to the yard, pressure wash the rig when I get back to the yard, grease and prep the rig making it ready for the next day. Go home around 6pm. Boom pumper life is definitely not for the lazy person! If you’re scared of long hours this isn’t for you. When I ran a line pump, I’d do all that like I do for a boom pump. Early mornings etc.... but I would bang out a first and second round and be back to the yard by 11am! Now that’s a hard job but the hours are better lol. We run the hose in my part of the US.
@@yotaforlife8408 If you work 5000hrs for that money, it's shit. What's your hr wage? Best pump money in Canada is in Toronto Ontario. We're around 45/hr plus pension and benefits. Pump wages in BC are crap compared to the cost of living. But even our decent wages don't get you far nowadays with the crazy cost of living in Canada.
@@jayfab4907 well im in Southern Ontario myself and make 37.50 plus $2 a meter pumped and I average about 130 m a day on an average day with many 200 to 400 days throughout the season
