Know your local market before jumping into this business. In central ohio there are already several contractors doing this and they are sitting on thousands of tons of recycled concrete that they cant sell. engineers around here wont allow that material to be used for most applications for many reasons, and you are mostly stuck selling it to residential customers who usually purchase small amounts
All people has to do is watch the video we recycled broken concrete and asphalt also but had connections and people even paid to dump concrete at the yard but it worked we took the portable crusher to a demolition job and took down three five story apartment complex and turned it into piles and sold it in two months
Hi, my father recently started stone aggregator business and he has 30yrs experience in RMC industry. I am an average business management student and I want to help my father in anyway possible. I am good at computers and have interest in the subject of marketing and supply chain management but i have no prior work experience. Can you suggest me any course or if you can give me any tips regarding this, it'll be helpful. BTW I watched this video completely and was able to learn and understand lot of info. Very Helpful! Thanks!
Those who have the opportunity can always earn more, there are people who earn on waste processing and earn big money, and you can earn a lot on concrete processing. only need money for expensive equipment for robots. it’s very cool what they came up with, since it pollutes the planet less and makes the production of concrete products easier.
Getting ready to buy one in North Carolina. I'm a little nervous, but this video is really good. Do you own this business? Would love to talk to someone before writing a check. Thanks
Wayne, you should check out the Heavy Ape course. Also, we are about to release a new interview on our other channel @SweatVenture, with a guy who switched from truck driving to a profitable tree removal company.
Crushers can handle a wide variety of materials including ores, rocks, gravel, glass, metal, and even certain types of waste. Additionally, crushers are commonly used in industries like mining, aggregate production, and recycling to break down materials such as limestone, granite, asphalt, and various types of metal scrap.
Recycling concrete mainly involves the collection of waste concrete, which is then sorted, cleaned, crushed into smaller pieces, screened for size, and stripped of remaining metal through magnetic separation. The end product is tested for quality control before being repurposed in various applications such as road construction, landscaping, or as aggregate in new concrete.

Do I need a concrete saw for this type of work?
It can't hurt to have one, but, no, a concrete saw is not required.

Will it be more expensive just to import product from asia and sell to contactors
There are many reasons NOT to do that.
Gravel is pretty heavy and big for the price of it . A whole truck load wouldn’t cost more than 1,000$

Step 1: Have tons of money
There are plenty of contractors who start with nothing and do very well.

Cheaper to import from China
Not in all cases, and quality likely isn't as good.
