This was so uncomfortable to watch on so many levels. I loved it.
You kill me with your sheltered kid routines. Because my daughter was fairly sheltered too…so that’s why it’s funny…she said some of these same things. Like when we went to her cousin’s house and his kids, ages 4 and 6, were watching Family Guy! Family Guy! And my daughter said, “Uncle Bob…these kids are waaayyy too young to be watching this show!” She was fifteen. Then she turned it off and took them outside to play. I miss her. 💖. She died at sixteen in a car accident. But she was baptized three times even though she knew she only needed it once! And prayed like a preacher! In your next routine, do this. Have one of the guys say, “who would like to…”. And you start jumping up and down cuz ya know he’s gunna say, “lead us in prayer?” That was my daughter, Alex.

Reminds me of some of the Christian kids I went to college with. People that had no concept of modern music, pop culture, modern movies, modern books, fashion, or trendy anything. Some of them wouldn't even join non Christian school groups (sororities, fraternities, volunteer work groups, dance classes, etc) Every potential gathering with other college kids was "Might meet my future husband here." and "Bible/God/Jesus." Too religious and sheltered for me and I've been called "too sheltered" before. Lol.

Lollllz! My hubby and I met and married within 4 months. Don’t regret it for a second. God is good (I was 21 and he was 26)! We kissed starting at engagement because I wanted our first one to be more private and because I wanted to ease in rather than dive in head first. It was the best choice for us, though if we had prolonged engagement to a more typical length it may not have been sustainable for abstinence.
Which is exactly why, for everyone's jokes...short engagements are God's way. Too much temptation, it's why people don't stay chaste. So, good for you 🙂
