This was so wonderful, I’m overwhelmed and struggling to find the words to say! Jake, you and Rachel meeting and getting married is such a beautiful example of how God divinely orchestrates our lives better than we ever could. I love what you shared at the wedding Jake, that’s so true that we are all meant to be where we are and it’s so important to be faithful to where and what God has called us to. You and Rachel are such a beautiful testament to that and I’m so beyond excited for you both! May God bless you and your future kids!

My four month old woke me up at 5am and it was an internal battle of "do i go back to bed or listen to the pod and be exhausted all day?" I chose sleep but that was silly because i was so excited to listen that i barely slept at all 😅

Gosh - this episode is so good - but especially hearing Jake’s intentionality with THE moment of having a captive audience, of people who loved you enough to come to your wedding, to share the gospel. That had me beaming. :)
I had to stop listening at the gym right now because there’s actual tears streaming down my face. (I’m not that out of shape guys, I promise). So so happy for the Tripletts!!! ❤
LOVED this wedding recap. I'm not on social media but I might have to create an account for a day to see the wedding photos and videos. I had liquid snot pouring out of my nose during our "unity ceremony" song my sister in law sang at our wedding. And the moment after the ceremony my husband lost it and sobbed in my arms. It was such a special moment. Weddings are the best! It's the best party you'll ever throw, all your loved ones in one place.

What a sweet episode! Congratulations to the Tripletts. I am with Kathryn on small town drugstore/soda and ice cream shops being a thing. My husband and I had our first two kiddos in Eden, NC, which was a city made up of 3 older towns. They each had, at one time, a drugstore and soda shop. I would say it might be a Southern thing, but we lived in UT for 5 years and we saw them in small towns there also. Haven't you seen "It's a Wonderful Life"?
It is actually common to have a pharmacy and ice cream bar combo in small towns. I've seen it in several states. It used to be called a soda fountain. Think back to "It's a wonderful life".

You would not believe the amount of tourism the bridges of Madison county get 🤣 I’ve never seen the movie but I’m told it’s not good. Pharmacy and ice cream/soda fountains is definitely a small town thing.
