The key is definitely relaxation.
But “breaking through” is a term that everyone needs to know about. You will never get this done if you don’t break through that point you’re stopped at. You need to KEEP PUSHING, if you don’t push then you’ll never break through. This means do not stay in one place while doing the splits, keep on moving forward and keep pushing down. Never stop pushing down until your butt is on the floor.

Why do I see so many videos saying that it should be uncomfortable but not painful? I’m so confused, I thought feeling pain means you are likely to injure yourself? I’m trying to get my splits but don’t know how far to take it each day
@@Yararar big exhales should help the muscle relax... with a timer even if it is 2 seconds more than the usual time that you practice... it is also sending the neural/ brain signal to the muscle "it's ok" to be in this position. very hot shower also a cheat code to stretching.

After I did this stretching routine. my muscles and inner thighs was in a sore for 3 days but then when I tried it again after the sore was gone I was able to stretch almost comfortably without soreness. this exercise is really tough but I hope I will be able to achieve my goal and get the front splits before August 2022. btw I am 9 inches away of the ground (i feel like i am stuck there and can't get deeper).

It took me 6 years to master Ji Ben Gong or Zhou Gong! And it took 10 years to reach the toe of the foot with your teeth!😅🙏

@@MasterSongKungFu 我现在到了最后十来厘米 elbow down阶段。最早看到宋师傅的这个video, 我想不知道啥时候我压腿完了也能侧倒收腿,现在我可以啦😄learning stopping resistance and letting it go. 以前瑜伽练习最低起码也有二十多厘米,所以现在很开心。拉压控对我很有效。接下来继续练习的同时 可能可以加上横一字的练习了。多谢宋师傅的细致讲解的video!🙏🙏
