I´ve been playing CS since the start (Yes i´m that old) and this movie still gives me goosebumps, this movie makes me feel like the 15 year old hardcore gamer i was 10 years ago, the kid that had 140 hours the past two weeks on Counter Strike 1.6 consistently, the kid that had dreams of becoming a pro Counter Strike player, the kid that gave up on playing football to become the new HeatoN!
And this movie isnt really that old, it´s not "frag or die" old, but man there is something with this movie that just makes me wanna hit up a CSDM Server and practice for hours!
I cant even tell how many times i´ve watched this movie!

its 2023 and this, coupled with some other 1.6 footage along with Danny sLink Baron during the source days and themovievault got me into video editing. im still not very good at it, but i sometimes i have to come back to my childhood motivation to remind me why i wanna make sweet ass frag videos. props to old school montage creators because i remember how much of a pain in the ass it was to decompress a .demo file frame by frame and rerender at 30fps. thank you to the poster of this video. i hope i can find the 3D 1.6 one next that starts out with "calm like a bomb" by rage against the machine

It’s Thursday 13:55pm (EST) April the 7th 2022. I watch this video once in a while to remember the good times I had with my friends back then. I was around 14-15 when I was playing cs 1.6 amazing years I’m 28 now and this will always bring me back great memories!! Pros from the 03 - 07 era have always been my favorite players. They paved the way as part of a transitional era of such crazy progression that the whole community benefitted from and raised the skill ceiling on all levels as a whole. I feel like everyone's game improved drastically during this era from open all the way up to invite and the best teams in the world. Truly an amazing era in cs esports just happy I was there to experience it. Those were some of the best years of my life. There's no feeling like playing cs on lan when you're in the 'zone'.
After more than 13 years of cs i still enjoy it. This will remain my first love, like first gta series or like quake series. Damn my childhood was so awesome.
