Mine died and I had spent about £250 on a new Webb mower. Then decided to try a fix which I thought might be linked to me putting an additive in the fuel. So all drained, changed fuel pipes and the carb as I couldn't prove it was viable. Changed some but not all gaskets and it fired up without a problem. Total fix cost something like £18.
Your a wealth of knowledge Mark. Looks like you have got a couple of great mowers for very little money and a bit of time
