@@k1ngaagaard Crazy to think, but you can’t even compare Steph to ray allen anymore. Steph has gone so much further and has had so much more success than ray, there’s no comparison. It’s not just the 3 point record, but it’s the rings, mvps, Olympics, and now longevity/ability.
With his current form he will pass the all time 3 point made by 2020 or 2021. But the problem is he is injured a lot, and GSW never really allow their star to push the game in regular season
I remember watching this at home and Tbh I only watched this game because there was nothing good on TV and when I saw him do this j was like Wow ! He's really good . And I think around this time he had 4 straight games with 30+ points correct me if I'm wrong. Not a Warriors fan but let's be truthful Steph Curry is something special
@@cap532I’m sure he does; being a fan of a guy for that long since that young of an age makes it really difficult for me to believe that he was somehow turned off by all of the success Curry’s had 😂
no. steph is unique and this game was his way to prove it, win or lose. steph is in my opinion the best shooter overall, as in he's like steve novak but can do SO much more. he can finish at the basket , score on fast breaks, get defensive stops and get plenty assists.
I tried to tell my brother about Steph. I've been talking about him for months, probably a year and he didn't pay attention to him. So after this game NOW he notices him. It bothers me how people are just now noticing him. He's very underrated and deserves more credit.
I have never seen a comment age so damn well before! 😂💯 You were absolutely right. 4 titles and now a documentary named ‘Underrated’. I hope your brother believes you now!
Curry is amazing. The guy is so deadly behind the arc. It almost seems like he has no limit on where he can shoot the ball. I personally think, when Curry is healthy, he's a more dangerous player than Irving.
11-13 from deep. That's crazyy.. Really wanted the game to go to OT ! So steph could hit 2 more treys, breaking the records for threepoint shots. This young point guard is amazing. One of the Most complete overall point guards. Like very few others
Part of why I love this game so much is because it’s peak Curry… but back when this kind of 3 point sharp shooting was new. So this was the point in time when Curry was hitting them bitches, and everybody was legitimately asking themselves wtf 😂
Since Curry's ankle is holding up now, he's going to start balling like when he was at Davidson. Flash back from the college days. He had 38pts the game before this one and no one guard in the league is going to be able to shut him down cause he's not just a shooter he has a good handle as well.
still the most underrated player in the game. All the "experts" have already forgotten about this, but had it been kobe, we wouldn't hear the end of it. As a huge warriors fan, this pisses me off.
54 points on 28 shots is actually good. He didn't have to rely on teammates especially when they lack other scorers as good as him. Steph is their best scorer and with Lee not playing he had to carry the team even more so. Their defense was attrocious and caused them to lose.
Curry was put on the map with his performance in the 2008 NCAA March Madness Tournament. But this game at the Garden was what let everyone know that he is a superstar
When you’re this level of hot, bad shot mechanics (like curry’s feet at 1:25) don’t even matter anymore. You just need to get the shot off cleanly, and let your muscle memory compensate for whatever it needs to, like feet not being set, drifting left or right, stepping back, extra arc…
smoove its so funny man, he was dropping 54 but every time he made a 3 id be like "SPLASH" and his floaters i was like "floater alert, floater alert" my friends were dying laughing ima have to get the to sub you lol
Dudes rotation is unbelievable. Quick trigger, follow through. Dude isnt a kid anymore, best shooter in the nba like his dad once was. All star snub for surw
11 years later, they're speaking about this night in Podcasts, Social Media, sports outlets and countless other sources. He will have brought that "underman team" FOUR Championships all while breaking records in the process. This night was when a beast was unleashed, the "baby face killa" that is Wardell Stephan Curry II 🏀💛💙 GOAT!
Not only is the matter about the Knicks, its about making those points in the Madison Square Garden. That place is very legendary and scoring 54 points in the arena will make it incredible for some reason. Wilt Chamberlin has the most with 74 points and Kobe is the only one in the game right now that is in the top 5. He scored 61 points in the Garden. All I am saying is that if you score a lot of points there, it seems legendary. Good Game Stephen!! Good Luck Knick!!
I brought up the lack of penetration too. Curry's defense was really well rounded. And we were top in the league at holding onto leads after the third quarter. You are bringing up stuff that doesn't matter.
Dude put the team on his back at MSG!! Bananas!! Too bad they couldn't pull out the W. Smh @ people still hating on Curry after seeing how talented this guy has become in the league. Sure he didn't make the all-star, but it's time to show this guy (and the Warriors this season) some love.
That game was actually at a stadium somewhere near Philly, but the game was against the Knicks. The OG MSG was opened back in the late 1800s so MSG has been around for a while. I'm not sure if Wilt ever played in the current MSG though, if he did, it was towards the end of his career.
To be honest dude that fluid motion on his shot is God given that's it. When you have a God given talent then work and practice your God given talent to try to perfect it. The way that dude shoots the ball is a thing of beauty straight up. Like you said it looks like he's not even trying when he shoots and he's pulling up for deep range on certain shots smh. It just God given period.
Tonight, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors play the Knicks. He’s two threes away from becoming No.1 on the All-Time 3PM list. What a historic event, this is where he put himself on the map.
This put Curry on the map.
The night a superstar was born
Absolutely 100%
Omar Shepherd brought me here to see the highlight. Felton got cooked for 50 😂😂😂
If there's anyone who could beat Ray Allen's record, it's this guy, provided he stays healthy and physically fit like Allen.
He did
How does this comment not have 1 million likes, this guy knew.
This comment aged well

Curry Is And Will Only Be The First Stephen Curry . In A Couple Of Years He Will Break Every 3 pointer Record If He Doesn't Injured A lot .
MoneyyMel he did it. 13 threes in 1 game
wow man you have a book of future in there? tell me mine man.
that prediction thoop
With his current form he will pass the all time 3 point made by 2020 or 2021. But the problem is he is injured a lot, and GSW never really allow their star to push the game in regular season
MoneyyMel well you basically predicted the future...

It was like 5 or 6 games really was the first Twitter star
Welp
You guessed it
damn even the comments here old af xdd
well i can tell u he is pretty special
I have been with this guy since the beginning. I live just outside of Davidson and saw all of his games there. This guy is just unbelievable
a true og, wonder if u still support steph

Is it just me or did I not see the net move at 2:21
I don't think it moved a lot but it moved but just barely!!
yup it literally went through without touching it
Yeah.. it didn't hit the net.. it hit the back of the inner rim.
Larry bird the only other guy I've seen with that kind of affect on the net. Or lack of I should say
And he's only going to get better
+Randle Rounsborg You got that right
Randy Films you called it
Goat comment
Just a tad better
2024, sir you are a wizard
Why do I have a feeling this nigga is gonna break the all-time 3 pointers in one game.
four1sixRaps he did lmao
WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU? MAN CAN YOU GIVE ME YOUR FEELING ABOUT THE WINNING LOTTERY NUMBERS?
He’s now broken the all time 3-point record too and won 4 championships
Bro this comment aged like fine wine
@@geraldking9385 I knew back then from day one Curry was gonna break basketball. He literally broke basketball.
Fast forward till today: broke the all-time 3-pt record in MSG, truly a legend .
I remember watching this on my TV.... crazy to see how far he’s come....

You are a Wizard AND a true fan of Stephen Curry, salute!!!
Future superstar
BJean93 he did it
Nice
Yeah just one of the best PGs of all time
Wow
You predicted it
It took this game to show everyone that this kid was robbed an All Star spot. This was just amazing!
No kidding
Facts curry went on to be part of the next 5 all star games lol
who’s here after Curry Gold Medal explosion? 🥇
I tried to tell my brother about Steph. I've been talking about him for months, probably a year and he didn't pay attention to him. So after this game NOW he notices him. It bothers me how people are just now noticing him. He's very underrated and deserves more credit.
Now he got hate cus he won too much

Wow bro now he’s regarded as a 10 player ever 😂
Man people should give you their flower’s because of this comment
one of the best shooters to play the game
2 years later, how bout THE best
no doubt
3 years later a two time champ :)
aasm7 still a choker and blew a 3-1 lead getting carried by Durant for his second ring Stephsexuals will always deny the faxs
Winchester Westfield he's still the greatest shooter of all time also I'm not gonna deny those "facts" since I'm not a warriors fan
Curry is amazing. The guy is so deadly behind the arc. It almost seems like he has no limit on where he can shoot the ball. I personally think, when Curry is healthy, he's a more dangerous player than Irving.
U are right
You know things, right
He's cooking with some hot grease right now.
Carlos Lago that's weird I read the comment as he said it in the video lol
Kobe scored 60 when the knicks was a mediocre team.. curry scored 54 on a knicks team that is a championship contender...
I think he can break the record for most 3s in one season if he keeps this up

2:21 he leaves the high five because he's too much in the zone.
This legit looks like a MyCareer game in 2K. Pulling up for a 3 on a fast break... lol, ridiculous
Yeah lol
That's like when you have a fast break and accidentally press the shoot button. Except he makes the shot.
Commonplace anymore
Came here after watchin Keyon Martin talkin bout it lookin for his reactions from the bench lol😂
The moment he became my favorite player
It’s November 1, 2024, anyone still coming back and watching this all time greatness?
Part of why I love this game so much is because it’s peak Curry… but back when this kind of 3 point sharp shooting was new. So this was the point in time when Curry was hitting them bitches, and everybody was legitimately asking themselves wtf 😂
He had 10 assists this game!!
Back when everybody liked Curry and everything he did was exciting. Damn Kd ruined everything
that so true...
People started disliking him during the 73-9 season. Basically if you win and have individual accolades you will be hated on.
He still does exciting things ya just hate on players when they finally start winning
Coming back to this performance after 10 years is so cool to see
Since Curry's ankle is holding up now, he's going to start balling like when he was at Davidson. Flash back from the college days. He had 38pts the game before this one and no one guard in the league is going to be able to shut him down cause he's not just a shooter he has a good handle as well.

Curry doesnt pander for admiration because he know hes good but he knows how to keep a level head about it
stephen curry favorite player

the single greatest shooting performance in nba history.
Just wait lol
The game I started fw curry
When I started to watch Curry more
I just want to cry. It's so beautiful.
Easily the best individual performance by a Warriors player that I've ever seen.
So weird to see Steph curry from before 2015
2:40 Again BUTTER!!!!!
Wow, what a night for Curry. He made some incredible shots.
It's incredibly hard to take a L and win at the same time. Good job Steph.
Team caught up eventually lol
I love that guy, my favourite Point guard
that shot at 1:54 ..... probably the softest looking shot ive ever seen in my life. From release to when it hits the net is just pure
perfect shooting stroke. absolutely perfect.
1 three more and he would have made nba history
Well he would have tied most 3 made ion a single game, Kobe had 12
punit singh 13 now
punit singh 14 klay broke it
Shoutout to his 62 points last night!!🐐
2:28 "Hisself"

He will be better than Ray Allen.
