Hello jujulips, I like all Eastwoods stuff. Great quality and three year warranty. That Eastwood tool is a beast, it’s heavy and powerful. It’s a workout but gets the job done. The roll on was epoxy primer. It seals the bare metal. Eastwood shows a video on the roll on, on their channel. Great for DIYER. Have a great weekend.
Hello TrixedOut, I saw the video using it on Eastwood channel. I thought it made sense. No taping, no overspray and ultimately it will be getting sanded when body working. I would definitely use it again. It brings out all the imperfections to be repaired. Also is a great seal against future problems. Have a great weekend and thanks for watching.
Wow, nice going Picasso 👍🏼 That Eastwood tool looks great, I’ve been considering one for a while to bare metal my 1303 as it has blisters on it so needs taking right back. That and rolling the epoxy on would probably suit me well as a novice. That tool isn’t cheap in the uk, so a bit more saving I guess.

Hello Rob, thanks for the comment. No the roller was gray, very tight foam type. I’m not sure what it was made off. I bought the entire kit from Eastwood. It’s enough for at least two or three bugs. I’ve always had great luck with Eastwood products. There is a ton of videos of this process. That’s how I decided to use it. I am very happy with the results. Have a great week.

impressive,did you use special roller refill? (I assume fluffy type) they seem to disintergate when I roll cellulose primer.
