someone pointed out that bond of life in game doesn't go away when you switch out. and the stream said she gets infusion as long as she has bond of life she has pyro infusion. meaning arlecchino might keep pyro infusion when switched out. we have to wait until testing but if that's the case then that's HUGE, since it gives her a lot of practical flexibility. imagine beating one set of enemies, being able to switch to kazuha to regroup then switch back to arlecchino to continue damage. this makes me even more excited 🤔
It's just kinda hard to get excited for a good pyro dps when we already have Klee, Lyney, Hu Tao... especially when she really doesn't bring anything new to the table
i disagree in that she does bring something new to the table, but i agree in the sense that no matter which pyro dpses you play it certainly can feel stale with teammate options
Can we get more 5 star shielders? There's only two, Zhongli and Baizhu - and Baizhu isn't even really a shielder, since a wet paper bag will probably provide a better shield...

They could have made her Melt or Burning focused for a change, but nope! Here goes the #6430948 Vape DPS that relies on Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu, Yelan, Kazuha and Zhongli. Such a surprise.
@@kai4344 Only because they aren't single hit focused, if we had slower pyro dps then melt can easily work. Problem is all of our Pyro's are generally way too fast. Diluc was decent with Melt since you need to use non-infused normals in his combo, but his Burst infusion made Vape more consistent. Gaming is one of our best currently since his skill reset isn't instant so Rosa/Diona team actually preforms better than non-furina vape teams...though Furina exist and there's no matching her busted moveset and element combo in general, but it's not the vapes that make that team better. Same reason we don't have many good Forward vape characters too. All of out hydro characters are REALLY good at applying their element way too fast and they aren't focused on doing big strikes, with Mona being the typical exception as a burst Nuke.
I like her design, but I totally won't pull for her. She just seems a bit redundant for a Hu Tao main. I guess thats good tho? People who like her can pull, people who don't, have other options.
same... hu tao got better over the years... like yelan, shimenawa (not really), furina, maracheusse, xianyun etc... hu tao plunge is my current favourite... does 165k plunge... its also smooth.
It's just that people are disappointed a Fatui Harbinger (the 4th position, even) are barely stronger than a funeral parlor director who hates fighting. But kinda agree about the 2nd part though, some people have FOMO towards certain characters just because they're a "must pull". Kazuha & Neuvillette are the biggest examples of this

@@jamiekb9v If Chevreuse is not on Arlechino banner then it is a high possibility I will be skipping it. Chevy is probably more valuable than Arlechino herself to an account because pyro dps is one of the most common character types but specialized supports are very valuable like c6 Faruzan, c6 Sara, or c6 Gorou, Shenhe, or Xianyun.
Really annoyed they haven’t given us a 5 star burning or burgeon focused pyro char, seems like that would be an obvious niche… or if they had made her an obvious overload choice with Chevreuse
Unpopular opinion, but I was Really Hoping that Arlecchino was some kind of Off-Fielder dmg dealer.. On-Fielders are cool and all, but really, we just have SO MANY Pyros already, and many of them just play with Vapes or Mono-pyro, and now there's Overload with Chevy too. I guess we're only missing a true Melt carry but oh well- I still hope for more Pyro Off-fielders, really, there's only Xiangling and Kazuha, he's not even Pyro, there's no real alternative to them. It could be anything really, either that be a Circle doing dmg, some Pets/Turrets attacking, or some kind of Cordinated Attacks. People are so tired of Bennett, but I feel like I'm the only one that wants more ALTERNATIVE to Xiangling and off-field pyro instead of replacing Bennett- am I the only one? I doubt it, but still- >.
I'm torn. I think she looks too good to be off field with her visual, and they nailed the gameplay aesthetic, BUT... I really do think we need more pyro team options. Chevreuse is amazingly strong particularly for raiden, but we can't stop there we need more. especially since chevreuse has team restrictions. We need alternatives!!
I think the only reason we don't have a true Forward Melt Pyro carry is just that we don't have anyone that can apply that much Cryo from off-field. Same case with Forward Vape carries. We probably never will have that much off-field application of *any* element just because of how much you actually need for consistent Forward reactions 😢
I think instructor would be better since Arlecchino has already too much %dmg in her base kit (plus artifacts and bis) totm too... but its more annoying to keep the passive

I'm really really happy with how her animations + weapon look, and she seems pretty fun to play! I've skipped everyone since Dehya( and most of Sumeru before) for Arle C6R1 so I'm super glad she's right around the corner! Looking forward to seeing a post-release guide, and praying we get Chevvy on the banner
I'm personally hoping she is. 2 mommies (or should I say 1 mommy and 1 father) on the same team would be a dream come true. Plus, that means I don't need to wait for Yae's rerun.
im looking forward to testing arlecchino with furina because even though she cant be healed through teammates, she does have a heal on burst to be able to get health for fanfare. obviously it wont be meta but i like furina so i want to play them together. im just hoping that er reqs in those teams wont be too bad
Sadly it might not synergize, because you want her to burst at the end of the rotation. If you burst early then her rotation will done early, beside its BoL were talking, she has to heal up till BoL cleared to get the actual heal
yea. shes a early released character, that has almost to no synergy with any unit in the game rn, so we're just making her "work with it". If youll wanna use Arlecchino with Furina, the only healer you could run would be Xianyun for the AoE tick heals, or baizhu (considering you can quick swap with her). and another variation, which is interesting, is running a team with Self-Healers with furina, Arlecchino Lynette Dehya Furina. its an interesting concept that could work. will it be good? it was tested with hutao and she had no problems. and then ofc theres the good old Hyperburgeon.
I think I'd like to play dehya with her instead of classic shields, there are enemies who break a 50k shield easily in one or two hits, and if it happens early in the rotation, you're in danger. But in dehya's case there's nothing to break I'll get the full 12 seconds of protection. (12s dmg mitigation, 9s resistance to interruption), That's why I prefer dehya with lyney instead of zhongli, when the shield breaks early, I lose a lot of dps dodging.
Xiao didn’t get Faruzan on his banner, but with his five star dedicated support (Xianyun), so maybe the same thing with Arlecchino, but Chevy would be with Clorinde? Who knows… But Thanks you, Jamie, anyways…
I still hope not cause that would be extremely scummy, besides Arle and Clorinde arent in the same version unlike Xiao and Xianyun were, and I'm pretty sure they put Faruzan on Xianyun's banner cause Xiao is an old character that many people already have, whereas Arle is a brand new character. Yeah she was my most anticipated character from Fontaine but now im going to be skipping because of all these things. Bennett & XQ slave, can't be healed, gets knocked around easily (and she's a melee unit so she will get knocked around way more often than Neuvi), requires too much set up only to still do mid damage and yet another Vape dps. I'm just gonna save for Clorinde and the Pyro Archon instead.
Why are people surprised shes a Vape carry? Its the only Pyro reaction worth talking about. Overload is clunky, Burning may as well not exist, Burgeon is just a worse Hyperbloom, and Melt is unfeasible until we get a proper off field Cryo unit, the only option is Vape if they want the Knave to actually be a good unit. Leave the experimental kits to the characters that aren't as popular. Cause lets be real, if she was some wacky Dendro based carry there would be blood in the streets.
I feel like people are underestimating Mona as a support for her, since Arlecchino's damage is so front loaded with how each hit substantially reduces her bond of life. It would probably only be good for double hydro teams with Yelan and Zhongli, but it seems like it'll at least be more comfortable than the Bennett version.
More than restrictive. As someone said so. The fact that she can't heal without burst is a huge W . Because let's be HONEST, we dont have godly reflexes. That's the only thing bugging me . Will have to wait and see , because if she can generate enough particles for burst then it's a win win. If the base dmg itself is high enough then no need to find another comps.
I think Arli will work with Furina at some level. Furina will drain her HP but on burst she can restore it. So maybe XQ, Jean, Furina could be a team. That will mitgate low hp. alternatively you can play her in all Yoimia teams. they are not great but still ok.
i could be wrong but idk if furinas buffs and utility is that strong to the point you can essentially cripple 1 teammate healing slot and still get a ton of value from her but i'm still basing my thoughts from a brief livestream so maybe there's better synergy when we get more information and can test them out after all many players do play hu tao, furina, yelan, zhongli and just bruteforce chambers 2 and 3, it's possible 🤔 healing combo also helps

I have a Raiden C0/Chevreuse C6 and it makes me laugh at ppl who think Raiden C0 is a not main dps. It's a very strong boss killing team. Even tho you might lack grouping, just the sheer dmg output can brute force it! It's currently one of my strongest team.
I think the problem with pyro is that it's reactions are all meant to be for dmg so it's kinda hard to make a pyro support especially one that doesn't interfere with your main dps reactions so they trapped themselves into making pyro units all into dps units or dehya
I just hope her supports will come later on i hope natlan will bring out units that will work great with her cuz as of now she genuinly doesn't have an optimal teammate
some ppl keep saying c6 chevreuse is very strong for arle but how? in order to gain the extra 60% pyro bonus u have to be healed by her skill and arle mitigates any for of healing during combat
Depends on if healing arlecchino counts as "overhealing" or not. If it does, then it won't be a problem. Either way, I will only pull if chevreuse is on the banner (pulling till i get chevreuse) to have a potential overload team with arlecchino, fischl, beidou, and chevreuse.
I'm a big fan of her Risky Playstyle! Gives the Challenge im looking for, Especially with Furina which I wanna try. But overall, I could totally understand people skipping her, especially with Clorinde and Natlan around the corner.

Archons are always one of the best characters in the game ( except venti )and they are perfectly fine at c0 and f2p weapons. Pull for arlecchino if you have a 5 star polearm for her .
I'm eating good with my c6 Chevy, so i can play hu tao and Arle without having to share every team mate :D Will propbably play Arle + Chevy + Fischl and Bennett (Maybe replacing Fischl for Beidou if needed, but as a glass canon hu tao player i think i'll be fine). I skipped every Raiden banner until the last one (perfect raiden nuke team in one banner lol)
You could even just skip Bennett and play both Fischl and Beidou together, after all if you use Chevy with Noblesse, you're already getting 60% Atk buff which is great. And you won't be tied to circle with Pyro aura on you, so you won't get one-shot

That's 100% going to be the Pyro Archon but with off-field Pyro application instead of Bennett's healing. Maybe she might also have some Bond of Life mechanic if Natlan ends up being Bond of Life focused kind of how Fontaine was focused on characters that lose and gain HP.
Silly idea. Since she probably applies a stupid amount of Pyro and she's one of the few characters that gets ALL RES, wouldn't some Geo for Crystallize be decent pairing? Arle + Anemo + Hydro+ Geo Gives another 15% Res. Since her buffs don't go away when you switch, you can just go in anytime with a Geo unit to create/pick a shard with Archaic Petra with minimal EM investment. Navia and Gorou suck the shards. Yun Jin gives ATK SPD. Arle's dash and CA flying talent help running after shards too.
nice idea, but the only issue with that is double geo teams usually always have 1 of the geos being zhongli just cause he synergises so well with everyone, e.g zhongli+chiori. solo geo also usually picks zhongli. so that takes care of the shielding situation.

Furina can’t get full stacks from Arleccjino but the rest of the team can still get them by healing. But then you need a healer on your team who will not synergy well withe Aelecchino if healing is there main job.
I was thinking of two other pyro sheilders for the chev team being yanfei and xinyan. For yanfei c4 shield bot it could be interesting if you throw on the flowing purity catalyst so you can give yourself bond of life and give yourself a shield. I’m not sure if the passive from flowing purity transfers from player to player (I think you can get up to a 24% elemental damage buff), but still interesting concept. The other option is xinyan because her skill gives a crap ton of particles (i think it’s the same or similar to bennet doing his skill twice) so more burst up time more opportunity to self heal from burst plus shield should increase survivability. The last point would also be the Fontaine sword having a bond of life mechanic as well.
I really believe Clorinde will be the last key piece for the Arlecchino-Chevreuse overload team, and if Chevy isn't on Arlecchino's banner, then she'll be on Clorinde's.

Arlecchino could be a melt based dps but we really are lacking on the department of cryo off fielders and offensive supports. Perhaps a cryo Bennett is a way to go, then we could just get Layla or Diona to tag alongside Arlecchino. Melt hardly gets cryo supports anymore and more of physical leaning supports. What we are severely lacking is an atk buffer. SOmething like a geo support atk buffer would be huge for Arlecchino, and guess what, for Navia too. That means Arlecchino could run double geo with Zhongli and still retain good atk buff, and we can still have Yelan or Xingqiu for hydro application.
It can be possible with C6 Kaeya and Kazuha's burst setting up cyro field. Also Arlecchino's initial attacks will be stronger then become weaker as her bond of life gets consumed so melt could be her best frontload team.
So far from what I see that she is going towards like dehya. Design very nice, but functionality not so meta. But that is my thoughts for what I see now

She looks op imo. A very powerful speedrun unit. Even for casual they no longer lose as much playing her with shielders. Her only practical caveat is Bennett and his circle really.
I feel like he's gonna be a Cyno support, but who knows, Electro shielder seems nice but I feel like it needs to do something else too, other than a shield

Especially when today it's just SO HARD to get new 4* Constellations, and there's still old characters in rate ups too. Like, for example, I skipped Neuvillette first banner cause I already had all the 4* at C6, and now.. I'm skipping again for the same reason- I'd rather wait just to get some constellations on new characters. I loved Nilou rerun banner, cause it had basically 3 new 4* on there! ♡
@@mc9474 yeah seems like the decisions are based on banners - since Cyno already had a recent banner it would make more sense for the new 4* to feel somewhat essential to current characters - but they've released supports after the fact before so who knows
They honestly need to do something else for future pyro dps's. It really wouldn't be hard to do something like a physical pyro dps that could say split scale with both pyro and physical damage bonus while maybe adding a def reduction built into their kit. Also, heavily skipping Arlecchino. She's just straight up evil and it makes no sense to have her join us. Also she isn't my type anyway. So between those two, it's impossible for me to even consider pulling for her. Even her weapon is just another specialized weapon that only works on her, so Homa is still the best spear in this game.
I was verry mutch looking for a charater like this i even comented (another chanel) that i wanted a type o vampire chracter that but what i wanted is for it to deal not optimal damage but due to healing capabilities could be run along side 3 major sub dps s but arlechino seems to be a litle fragile (cause she does more then decent damage) so i would have to sweat a bit and also best teams allways involve a healer or shielder, I really wanted to use beidou but if i dont use cheveruse it may be kinda of a waste so idk im kinda torn fontaine was the best region for this mechanic, we will see i dont even know if i will get her right now since I only have 80 pulls and just got neuvillete
Well said. I really don't know what to make of Arlecchino yet. I already shy away from Hu Tao because of her health drain, and Arlecchnio sounds like her on steroids. Still, she may be busted and it's only a matter of time before the community shows us that.
Hu Tao's health drain is never even a problem though since her best teams include Zhongli or a healer like Bennett or Xianyun. Plus, she is really bulky.
I've seen some people suggesting Dehya as a teammate for her for the pyro res, superarmour, and damage mitigation. Maybe this could finally be a team Dehya can actually work in aside from melt Ganyu and hyperbloom teams...
Arlec recall me to Nilou back then in sumeru. An attractive character, very high dmg floor, mobile friendly(ez to play) going well with current roster but leave you feeling of missing some piece for her best team. Fortunately in Nilou case, Yaoyao is her missing piece and she free from lantern rite with completely strong support at C0. . I hope I was wrong and Arlec turn out comfy to play with every skill play/platform for sake of all Arlec mains :D
Yep, I agree with your take for the most part. I just wanted to say that Yaoyao isn't Nilou's missing piece - she's just a good option, but not the best. The only missing piece that most people would agree on would have been Nahida : Nilou did get more and more options as time went on and more bloom-compatible hydro and dendro characters released, but with the sole exception of the dendro archon none have been game-changing for her in terms of the meta, she already had Kokomi and Collei who remain her best teammates to this day, as well as the Traveler for about 3 weeks (Nahida came out right after Nilou after all). I guess more options can still translate to more "flexibity", like of course now thanks to Yaoyao, Kirara and Baizhu you can play with her with hydro characters who don't heal like Ayato, Childe, Neuv or Furina which is certainly a very good thing, but it's doesn't make it meta or absolutely game-changing for her. Honestly she really didn't lack much, apart from a truly goated off-field dendro applicator to replace the Traveler (who's good but not insanely so), which fortunately we knew she'd get right after her initial release Technically that could also be the case with Clorinde's release, hopefully by the time Arle releases we should have more clues : will she be a dmg support for Arle ? Or a an Electro shielder of some kind (like a better Beidou if you will) for her Chevreuse team ? Or maybe a sub dps that can at least work decently with her ? Or nothing of the above, which is also possible
@@clementlassalle4317 I don't think so. At baseline Nahida is very good for any dendro team, by your logic then she also missing part of Ganyu burnmelt with 1.5u dendro. In Nilou case first, Nahida isn't apply that much dendro unless u on field her to NAs (15u Kaveh C6/19u Collei C6 Sac bow 2E/15u Nahida C0, collei and nahida off-field only) so u need to deal with her squishy onfield temp to build more healing less EM on hydro healer/trigger (Kokomi ig but she have issue with ER too) or Baizhu who low dendro app? Nahida+Baizhu rly apply than DMC Collei? that say overall didn't huge upgrade that u think it would be. . Second, Nahida E have to trigger with any reaction. U might not notice while play her onfield NAs but in team like Ayato full EM it can be problem when u wipe all dendro aura out of enemy only hydro left > u need to swap off to reapply dendro so u lose Ayato E uptime and only trigger bloom by Ayato Q and Nilou water ring which inconsistency. . Respectfully I don't think you are wrong or tryhard to win this constructive argument. but by experience with Nilou team for a year, Nahida also have her own problem. According to my opinion she is strong option but far from necessary or call her missing piece of bountiful bloom.

I never user thrilling tales before and i dont currently have it, but how much attack does it give ? Because if it gives close attack buff to benett buff it might be a good idea to run for example tank yanfei with thrilling tales and nobless, so you get her huge shield and also the pyro resonnace, but that depends ok the attack buff of thrilling tales compared to benett attack buff, is it actually worth the huge confort you get with the shield, not having to stay in a fuckinggg circle(why i hate benett) , and the survivability, pls if Someone uses the thrilling tales and know the damage difference compared to bennet buff tell me in this comment, also note that thrilling tales buff duration is almost the same as bennett
Needing zhongli to perform without issues is an instant turn off. Not only does it mean that character's kit is faulty by design, but it also restricts team building and lowers damage by a lot. But at the end of the day, they want zhongli to be used cuz he is chinese god, and they can't make him usable any other way.
Arlecchino already gains a fat stack of damage resistances from her passive to the point that Dehya's super armour isn't all that relevant. She'll still work well enough as a ToM buffer, at least.
being unable to be healed is actually a good thing if u play her with bennett. i hate that after 3 years they still wouldnt want their atk scaling dps to be bennett-free. the game is getting more and more boring for me
People still play Hutao with ZL and XQ? Furina and Yelan with Jean/Bennett is her new meta comp. This team does higher dps while still being comfy, especially if Hutao is c1.
@@mleong75On YShelper, Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Yelan and Zhongli is still the most played team. Even the most played Furina Hu Tao team is basically with Zhongli and no healer. People do use Zhongli with Hu Tao even to this day when there's stronger teams for her, mostly because she's more comfortable with shield and the damage loss doesn't matter as long as you 36* the abyss..
Assuming you have Furina, Yelan and Jean / Xianyun, you full heal on every rotation. Not being able to heal , mostly weapon options r 5 star and bp, If she had some defensive options in c0 then may be i would have got excited. I doubt Cheuv will be on this banner. It's like Freminet/Lynette so unless you think they put 3 new 4 stars on the same banner, Cheuv is likely on another banner or Clorinde.
I have too many DPS characters collecting dust. What I need is a tall 5* pyro off field dps so I can finally use Tartaglia. I'm skipping Arlecchino for Clorinde, Shenhe, and Emelie(if tall).

someone pointed out that bond of life in game doesn't go away when you switch out. and the stream said she gets infusion as long as she has bond of life she has pyro infusion. meaning arlecchino might keep pyro infusion when switched out. we have to wait until testing but if that's the case then that's HUGE, since it gives her a lot of practical flexibility. imagine beating one set of enemies, being able to switch to kazuha to regroup then switch back to arlecchino to continue damage. this makes me even more excited 🤔

@@kai4344 Only because they aren't single hit focused, if we had slower pyro dps then melt can easily work. Problem is all of our Pyro's are generally way too fast. Diluc was decent with Melt since you need to use non-infused normals in his combo, but his Burst infusion made Vape more consistent. Gaming is one of our best currently since his skill reset isn't instant so Rosa/Diona team actually preforms better than non-furina vape teams...though Furina exist and there's no matching her busted moveset and element combo in general, but it's not the vapes that make that team better.
Same reason we don't have many good Forward vape characters too. All of out hydro characters are REALLY good at applying their element way too fast and they aren't focused on doing big strikes, with Mona being the typical exception as a burst Nuke.
I like her design, but I totally won't pull for her. She just seems a bit redundant for a Hu Tao main.
I guess thats good tho? People who like her can pull, people who don't, have other options.
same... hu tao got better over the years... like yelan, shimenawa (not really), furina, maracheusse, xianyun etc... hu tao plunge is my current favourite... does 165k plunge... its also smooth.

Chevy is probably more valuable than Arlechino herself to an account because pyro dps is one of the most common character types but specialized supports are very valuable like c6 Faruzan, c6 Sara, or c6 Gorou, Shenhe, or Xianyun.

Unpopular opinion, but I was Really Hoping that Arlecchino was some kind of Off-Fielder dmg dealer..
On-Fielders are cool and all, but really, we just have SO MANY Pyros already, and many of them just play with Vapes or Mono-pyro, and now there's Overload with Chevy too. I guess we're only missing a true Melt carry but oh well-
I still hope for more Pyro Off-fielders, really, there's only Xiangling and Kazuha, he's not even Pyro, there's no real alternative to them. It could be anything really, either that be a Circle doing dmg, some Pets/Turrets attacking, or some kind of Cordinated Attacks.

Sadly it might not synergize, because you want her to burst at the end of the rotation. If you burst early then her rotation will done early, beside its BoL were talking, she has to heal up till BoL cleared to get the actual heal

yea. shes a early released character, that has almost to no synergy with any unit in the game rn, so we're just making her "work with it".
If youll wanna use Arlecchino with Furina, the only healer you could run would be Xianyun for the AoE tick heals, or baizhu (considering you can quick swap with her).
and another variation, which is interesting, is running a team with Self-Healers with furina, Arlecchino Lynette Dehya Furina. its an interesting concept that could work. will it be good? it was tested with hutao and she had no problems.

I think I'd like to play dehya with her instead of classic shields, there are enemies who break a 50k shield easily in one or two hits, and if it happens early in the rotation, you're in danger. But in dehya's case there's nothing to break I'll get the full 12 seconds of protection. (12s dmg mitigation, 9s resistance to interruption), That's why I prefer dehya with lyney instead of zhongli, when the shield breaks early, I lose a lot of dps dodging.
it also solves the problem of not being able to heal arlecchino, you can just heal dehya instead (assuming you have a good off-field teamwide healer)

Yeah she was my most anticipated character from Fontaine but now im going to be skipping because of all these things. Bennett & XQ slave, can't be healed, gets knocked around easily (and she's a melee unit so she will get knocked around way more often than Neuvi), requires too much set up only to still do mid damage and yet another Vape dps. I'm just gonna save for Clorinde and the Pyro Archon instead.

Why are people surprised shes a Vape carry? Its the only Pyro reaction worth talking about. Overload is clunky, Burning may as well not exist, Burgeon is just a worse Hyperbloom, and Melt is unfeasible until we get a proper off field Cryo unit, the only option is Vape if they want the Knave to actually be a good unit. Leave the experimental kits to the characters that aren't as popular. Cause lets be real, if she was some wacky Dendro based carry there would be blood in the streets.
I feel like people are underestimating Mona as a support for her, since Arlecchino's damage is so front loaded with how each hit substantially reduces her bond of life. It would probably only be good for double hydro teams with Yelan and Zhongli, but it seems like it'll at least be more comfortable than the Bennett version.

I think Arli will work with Furina at some level. Furina will drain her HP but on burst she can restore it. So maybe XQ, Jean, Furina could be a team. That will mitgate low hp.
alternatively you can play her in all Yoimia teams. they are not great but still ok.
i could be wrong but idk if furinas buffs and utility is that strong to the point you can essentially cripple 1 teammate healing slot and still get a ton of value from her
but i'm still basing my thoughts from a brief livestream so maybe there's better synergy when we get more information and can test them out
after all many players do play hu tao, furina, yelan, zhongli and just bruteforce chambers 2 and 3, it's possible 🤔 healing combo also helps

I have a Raiden C0/Chevreuse C6 and it makes me laugh at ppl who think Raiden C0 is a not main dps. It's a very strong boss killing team. Even tho you might lack grouping, just the sheer dmg output can brute force it! It's currently one of my strongest team.
I think the problem with pyro is that it's reactions are all meant to be for dmg so it's kinda hard to make a pyro support especially one that doesn't interfere with your main dps reactions so they trapped themselves into making pyro units all into dps units or dehya

Either way, I will only pull if chevreuse is on the banner (pulling till i get chevreuse) to have a potential overload team with arlecchino, fischl, beidou, and chevreuse.

Archons are always one of the best characters in the game ( except venti )and they are perfectly fine at c0 and f2p weapons. Pull for arlecchino if you have a 5 star polearm for her .

I'm eating good with my c6 Chevy, so i can play hu tao and Arle without having to share every team mate :D Will propbably play Arle + Chevy + Fischl and Bennett (Maybe replacing Fischl for Beidou if needed, but as a glass canon hu tao player i think i'll be fine). I skipped every Raiden banner until the last one (perfect raiden nuke team in one banner lol)
You could even just skip Bennett and play both Fischl and Beidou together, after all if you use Chevy with Noblesse, you're already getting 60% Atk buff which is great. And you won't be tied to circle with Pyro aura on you, so you won't get one-shot

That's 100% going to be the Pyro Archon but with off-field Pyro application instead of Bennett's healing. Maybe she might also have some Bond of Life mechanic if Natlan ends up being Bond of Life focused kind of how Fontaine was focused on characters that lose and gain HP.
Silly idea. Since she probably applies a stupid amount of Pyro and she's one of the few characters that gets ALL RES, wouldn't some Geo for Crystallize be decent pairing? Arle + Anemo + Hydro+ Geo Gives another 15% Res.
Since her buffs don't go away when you switch, you can just go in anytime with a Geo unit to create/pick a shard with Archaic Petra with minimal EM investment. Navia and Gorou suck the shards. Yun Jin gives ATK SPD. Arle's dash and CA flying talent help running after shards too.
nice idea, but the only issue with that is double geo teams usually always have 1 of the geos being zhongli just cause he synergises so well with everyone, e.g zhongli+chiori. solo geo also usually picks zhongli. so that takes care of the shielding situation.

Furina can’t get full stacks from Arleccjino but the rest of the team can still get them by healing. But then you need a healer on your team who will not synergy well withe Aelecchino if healing is there main job.
I was thinking of two other pyro sheilders for the chev team being yanfei and xinyan. For yanfei c4 shield bot it could be interesting if you throw on the flowing purity catalyst so you can give yourself bond of life and give yourself a shield. I’m not sure if the passive from flowing purity transfers from player to player (I think you can get up to a 24% elemental damage buff), but still interesting concept. The other option is xinyan because her skill gives a crap ton of particles (i think it’s the same or similar to bennet doing his skill twice) so more burst up time more opportunity to self heal from burst plus shield should increase survivability. The last point would also be the Fontaine sword having a bond of life mechanic as well.

Arlecchino could be a melt based dps but we really are lacking on the department of cryo off fielders and offensive supports. Perhaps a cryo Bennett is a way to go, then we could just get Layla or Diona to tag alongside Arlecchino. Melt hardly gets cryo supports anymore and more of physical leaning supports.
What we are severely lacking is an atk buffer. SOmething like a geo support atk buffer would be huge for Arlecchino, and guess what, for Navia too. That means Arlecchino could run double geo with Zhongli and still retain good atk buff, and we can still have Yelan or Xingqiu for hydro application.
It can be possible with C6 Kaeya and Kazuha's burst setting up cyro field. Also Arlecchino's initial attacks will be stronger then become weaker as her bond of life gets consumed so melt could be her best frontload team.

Yes. It checks if the teammate has received the healing trigger, even if the hp hasn't changed.

Especially when today it's just SO HARD to get new 4* Constellations, and there's still old characters in rate ups too. Like, for example, I skipped Neuvillette first banner cause I already had all the 4* at C6, and now.. I'm skipping again for the same reason- I'd rather wait just to get some constellations on new characters.

@@mc9474 yeah seems like the decisions are based on banners - since Cyno already had a recent banner it would make more sense for the new 4* to feel somewhat essential to current characters - but they've released supports after the fact before so who knows

They honestly need to do something else for future pyro dps's. It really wouldn't be hard to do something like a physical pyro dps that could say split scale with both pyro and physical damage bonus while maybe adding a def reduction built into their kit.
Also, heavily skipping Arlecchino. She's just straight up evil and it makes no sense to have her join us. Also she isn't my type anyway. So between those two, it's impossible for me to even consider pulling for her.
Even her weapon is just another specialized weapon that only works on her, so Homa is still the best spear in this game.

I was verry mutch looking for a charater like this i even comented (another chanel) that i wanted a type o vampire chracter that but what i wanted is for it to deal not optimal damage but due to healing capabilities could be run along side 3 major sub dps s but arlechino seems to be a litle fragile (cause she does more then decent damage) so i would have to sweat a bit and also best teams allways involve a healer or shielder, I really wanted to use beidou but if i dont use cheveruse it may be kinda of a waste so idk im kinda torn fontaine was the best region for this mechanic, we will see i dont even know if i will get her right now since I only have 80 pulls and just got neuvillete

I already shy away from Hu Tao because of her health drain, and Arlecchnio sounds like her on steroids. Still, she may be busted and it's only a matter of time before the community shows us that.
Hu Tao's health drain is never even a problem though since her best teams include Zhongli or a healer like Bennett or Xianyun. Plus, she is really bulky.
hu tao still has defensive options tho. Arle straight up cannot heal in her entire rotation

I've seen some people suggesting Dehya as a teammate for her for the pyro res, superarmour, and damage mitigation. Maybe this could finally be a team Dehya can actually work in aside from melt Ganyu and hyperbloom teams...
Arlec recall me to Nilou back then in sumeru. An attractive character, very high dmg floor, mobile friendly(ez to play) going well with current roster but leave you feeling of missing some piece for her best team.
Fortunately in Nilou case, Yaoyao is her missing piece and she free from lantern rite with completely strong support at C0.

Yep, I agree with your take for the most part. I just wanted to say that Yaoyao isn't Nilou's missing piece - she's just a good option, but not the best. The only missing piece that most people would agree on would have been Nahida : Nilou did get more and more options as time went on and more bloom-compatible hydro and dendro characters released, but with the sole exception of the dendro archon none have been game-changing for her in terms of the meta, she already had Kokomi and Collei who remain her best teammates to this day, as well as the Traveler for about 3 weeks (Nahida came out right after Nilou after all). I guess more options can still translate to more "flexibity", like of course now thanks to Yaoyao, Kirara and Baizhu you can play with her with hydro characters who don't heal like Ayato, Childe, Neuv or Furina which is certainly a very good thing, but it's doesn't make it meta or absolutely game-changing for her. Honestly she really didn't lack much, apart from a truly goated off-field dendro applicator to replace the Traveler (who's good but not insanely so), which fortunately we knew she'd get right after her initial release
Technically that could also be the case with Clorinde's release, hopefully by the time Arle releases we should have more clues : will she be a dmg support for Arle ? Or a an Electro shielder of some kind (like a better Beidou if you will) for her Chevreuse team ? Or maybe a sub dps that can at least work decently with her ? Or nothing of the above, which is also possible
@@clementlassalle4317 I don't think so. At baseline Nahida is very good for any dendro team, by your logic then she also missing part of Ganyu burnmelt with 1.5u dendro.
In Nilou case first, Nahida isn't apply that much dendro unless u on field her to NAs (15u Kaveh C6/19u Collei C6 Sac bow 2E/15u Nahida C0, collei and nahida off-field only) so u need to deal with her squishy onfield temp to build more healing less EM on hydro healer/trigger (Kokomi ig but she have issue with ER too) or Baizhu who low dendro app? Nahida+Baizhu rly apply than DMC Collei? that say overall didn't huge upgrade that u think it would be.

Second, Nahida E have to trigger with any reaction. U might not notice while play her onfield NAs but in team like Ayato full EM it can be problem when u wipe all dendro aura out of enemy only hydro left > u need to swap off to reapply dendro so u lose Ayato E uptime and only trigger bloom by Ayato Q and Nilou water ring which inconsistency.

Respectfully I don't think you are wrong or tryhard to win this constructive argument. but by experience with Nilou team for a year, Nahida also have her own problem. According to my opinion she is strong option but far from necessary or call her missing piece of bountiful bloom.

I never user thrilling tales before and i dont currently have it, but how much attack does it give ? Because if it gives close attack buff to benett buff it might be a good idea to run for example tank yanfei with thrilling tales and nobless, so you get her huge shield and also the pyro resonnace, but that depends ok the attack buff of thrilling tales compared to benett attack buff, is it actually worth the huge confort you get with the shield, not having to stay in a fuckinggg circle(why i hate benett) , and the survivability, pls if Someone uses the thrilling tales and know the damage difference compared to bennet buff tell me in this comment, also note that thrilling tales buff duration is almost the same as bennett
Bennet gives like 1K right and I'm pretty sure Thrilling Tales is 48% of base atk, not total attack so that would be like 500ish for most chars
plot twist: genshin makes her dogwater because she looks cool and everyone will pull anyways
Needing zhongli to perform without issues is an instant turn off. Not only does it mean that character's kit is faulty by design, but it also restricts team building and lowers damage by a lot. But at the end of the day, they want zhongli to be used cuz he is chinese god, and they can't make him usable any other way.

Arlecchino already gains a fat stack of damage resistances from her passive to the point that Dehya's super armour isn't all that relevant. She'll still work well enough as a ToM buffer, at least.
being unable to be healed is actually a good thing if u play her with bennett. i hate that after 3 years they still wouldnt want their atk scaling dps to be bennett-free. the game is getting more and more boring for me

People still play Hutao with ZL and XQ? Furina and Yelan with Jean/Bennett is her new meta comp. This team does higher dps while still being comfy, especially if Hutao is c1.

@@mleong75On YShelper, Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Yelan and Zhongli is still the most played team. Even the most played Furina Hu Tao team is basically with Zhongli and no healer. People do use Zhongli with Hu Tao even to this day when there's stronger teams for her, mostly because she's more comfortable with shield and the damage loss doesn't matter as long as you 36* the abyss..
Assuming you have Furina, Yelan and Jean / Xianyun, you full heal on every rotation. It's not only that though, but also the additional utility you get from Jean's circle or Xianyun's continuous healing. Meanwhile, Arlecchino isn't getting any healing from anything but her burst, which is a DPS loss. I think that's pretty much enough to wrap up the argument.
