It's not my fault that her best teams use bennett xD but if you watched and listened you'd see a bunch of bennettless options 2. Forgot to talk about yae, I tested her a lot she’s great in chev teams. Fischl seems better but yae still good, and using them together is a great alternative in chev teams to not need bennett. yun jin should be better than I said. Candace can be used for vape instead of yelan or xingqiu in AOE. It still feels just OK to me but the abyss lineup is kind of yikes for it. I'll test more in the future 3. if you have a good echoes set that can be a good option. Shim can be ok in some situations too although it has problems. any of these and glad are fine while you farm for her set 4. yes there were even more teammates I tested that were so bad they didn't make the list lol I don't know why I do this to myself
Im just curious, is shimenawa set good on her? I mean you do need to charge attack to gain bond of life, and you pretty much using skill rather than burst, problem is when you do need to heal shimenawa passive maybe a problem.
Would you say that arlecchino layla kazu and bennet be a good team, yes i do have xingqiu, zhongli and yelan but all of them are in my hu tao team and i don't think i can trash that team and i also don't have any replacement for any of my hydro units since i only have barbara and ayato and no other hydro's
The amount of teams you highlight is the main reason why I click your videos before everyone else's. I know it's a huuuuge pain in the ass to start using the more niche units but it's very appreciated.

Jello, I really appreciate that you spend a lot more time on team comps in these videos than you peers do. Of course you need to discuss mechanics and builds as well, but what I typically spend the most time pondering on with every new character are team comps. So I really enjoy how the different types of content are weighed in your guides.
Literally I have a well invested c1 r5 db triple crowned hu tao and I still love arlecchino as a character and play style so I don’t wanna bench my hu tao instead I’ll just keep running my Hu Tao double hydro and also get Arlecchino and play her with chevruese overload
Neuvi is tanky as a Hp scaler and has built in healing. Arle bond of life makes her quite squishy if not played right. IMO Neuvi is better for casuals who want an easy time without little mistakes being super punishing.
I think a better comparison is hu tao or Lyney since she’s made for their archetypes , she basically fixes hu Taos versatility and lyneys charge shotting
I think its a great idea to add the tier list section for the characters and how well they synergize with the new character. It helps differentiate your content from the same 5-6 teams stated in everyone else's videos and targets viewers specific character inquiries.
I think a swverely underlooked benefit of Arlecchino is that she can retain infusion even if swapped in and out and I know its mentioned, but what just being able to do that implies is you can quickswap Arlecchino into a tankier teammate if about to get hit so you can use Yelan as a meat shield since she has higher max HP and is scaled heavily on HP anyways.
3:31 Arlecchino isn’t the only character with three combat passives. Tartaglia’s third passive is also combat one (+1 lvl to NA) and Kokomi has a combat passive (-100% crit, +25% HB) in addition to utility passive. I’m actually surprised that Arle doesn’t have utility passive, considering her last one being so similar to Kokomi’s - being a trade-off.

I've only been playing this game for a month and a half, but she is so much stronger then every other character I have that it's pretty crazy. I thought she would take me a bit to fully get down how she works and her rotation, but it's actually really easy. Love her
Something that I don't see and everyone gets wrong is that she can get healing... OUTSIDE OF COMBAT does this matter always? sometimes. if you are using her with bennett or Xinqiu, and you get out of combat, you can get healing and lose your BoL

Calling her better than Neuvillette is false.. Neuv has self sustain , very high AoE and plus a lot of teams. Not to mention he can access his dmg in ease..
I originally planned to skip her but after testing her from trial I love her game play so much. She does so much dmg so fast and makes use of formerly useless mechanic so I am loving her. I got her and now I plan to triple crown her I am pleasantly surprised with how she turned out
imo. Arle is made for expert players. She’s the answer for people who consider neuv playstyle easy and boring. Different playstyle should be celebrated not frowned upon. If you don’t like it just skip it like we always do every banner. No need to gaslighting by comparing her to Neuv.
Playstyle aside, saying her dmg is better than neuvi is outright delusional. He may be boring, but he has every quality of life that arlecchino wish she has in her kit
19:00 I tested melt with bennett, ganyu and rosaria and i personally quite liked it, especially considering it doesn't use teammates that i want on the other side like kazuha, zhongli, yelan xingqiu and there's no weird vv setups. It did some pretty good damage to it, and i think you may also be able to do a variation with layla for the shield and also actually take advantage of her aoe cryo application, but I haven't got her.
As a solo DPS, and only thinking in solo and DPS terms, I think she actually is the 2nd strongest. The caveats she has to achieve this do a lot to make her a balanced character. She's strong, but balanced by having a lot of drawbacks.
@@kamaleonte04hardly. If you're using her solo there's a good chance you'll have her c2 which removes the need to wait. And if you're not vertically investing in her you probably shouldn't be trying to use her solo. Non-issue.
I just wanted to add about her healing, while she’s in battle she can’t be healed but she can be healed when not in battle by healers which is why the statues of the seven can heal her.
My trust In Genshin creators are as followed 1. The one I'm watching rn , clicked as soon as I'm back from class . Very informative, true , and on point . 2. Doro 3. One guy with curly hair that ask questions before account review .
A thing about her overworld exploration. She's as fast as Yelan, with a slightly slower startup but gets an extra 2 seconds to travel and she can fly over water. So she can replace Yelan in your overworld team if you're tired of her or want an element change. Using Stamina isn't a big issue, my exploration team hasn't even used stamina in like a year. Between Yelan, Wanderer, and another anemo (Now Xianyun, but could also be Sayu or Kazuha) you can keep using abilities that are faster than running and expend no stamina. The Anemo resonance works on her flying and it's really good for that.
Fair critique, everyone else is riding the hype farm with her lol. I also think she is mostly a step up to Hu Tao but I know that Natlan will have the Pyro Archon gimmick that works best with a Natlan Pyro unit so I'm going to play the waiting game and power gauge if we're getting another Neuv+Furina combo.
She's one of the most fun characters I've played. And to me she's a better Hu Tao in every way. Also her C1 makes her dmg absolutely cracked even at "lower" levels (mine is lvl 70 with lvl 70 Primordial Jade Winged Spear she does more damage than my Wriothesley at lvl 80 with lvl 90 signature and good crit values. And while I love Neuviellete in terms of style and design I feel like I can't play him all the time. I could play her all day. Also I think it's really nice that they made a bunch of other Fontaine teams not work with Bennett but made her work with Bennett. Fun fact: Zhong Li absolutely trivialises her boss since you can almost permastun him. Same thing with golems in the new artifact domain.

She might have insane frontload , but Neuvi can sustain his damage over long periods and his rotations are a lot smoother. He can start shreding new waves easily. But considering the new endgame content , having variety never hurts and we don't even know which direction they will go with BOL. So there are a lot of possibilities.
18:52 the thing about running overload teams isn't so you can do overload damage, it's so you can properly take advantage of chevreuse buffs. If you were to play Lisa, I don't see any reason why you'd go damage/EM over just straight up ER for the burst and def shred. Even so, she'll still need crazy amounts of ER and it's just not worth it to play her over something like fischl, yae or beidou.
Way better than being a burst reliant character like Xiao, Haitham or Cyno, those characters are a pain to play in overworld, abyss exclusive characters.
She's still useful in the overworld in a way not mentioned in the video~~ Her winged state can float over water, a bit risky outside of fontaine but still a viable option for those without Furina
Arlecchino has legitimately comparable, if not slightly better damage than Neuv if you exclude teams. Like 1v1 Arlecchino probably has better dps, Im a neuv enjoyer and she feels completely insane damage wise. Shes absolutely better than hu tao, albeit not by a large amount, but still better
Agree. For many reasons….. Neuvillette is strong, has flexible teams good ftp weapons. He is not risky and is always guaranteed great damage. Arlecchino is best pyro but not best dps. I would still put Alhaitham above her also. Dendro is still dendro and op.
But why would you compare solo. Versatility is a huge part of what makes neuvi great even before arle neuvillette wasn't the highest damage dealer when compared to hu tao in their best comps but he is able to slot in so many teams types, can go without shield if enemy isn't as aggressive and that's where he wins over other dps.@@chaunceyxvi830
I got a copy in 50 pulls which is good since it means I have enough left over for Clorinde in 4.7. I put some Gladiators on her with an R5 Deathmatch. She's stuck at level 40 until tomorrow after work since I don't have time to do the quest and gather her specific mats tonight. Even at level 40 (on an AR60 world) I am impressed with her damage in the overworld.
I as a day one Genshin player have been waiting for *those* two mains. But I never found them. I have so many five stars that I don't really use. Mostly cus of personality. After much time FINALLY I have decided on Navia and Neuvillete as my two mains. I got Neuvillete in the rerun now only saving for Navia. Plus I find power washing and shotgun firing the teyvat openworld fun as a bonus also 😆
That's exactly my experience! I used Eula as my main for a long time but unfortunately she lacks power. Now I'm planning on maining Navia and Neuvillete as well. They're strong and fun to play. And I love both of their personalities. I have never pulled for a Constellation or weapon before but I had to pull con Neuvillete C1. I regret not pulling for Navia's weapon but I hope to get it in her rerun.

Not day one, but two years of playing GI. I don't know, but to me the game got so much more fun when I finally found my main. In my case that's Wriothesley. Most put him in S tier, some only in A, but with C5R1 I regret not one cent I've spent on him (a lot of cents...). I sometimes add Zhongli when fighting a boss, sometimes Nahida and Bennett need to help out when I fight something with high cryo res/shield. But other than that there is no need for any other characters in his team. 90% of stuff he will deal with all by himself - no matter if overworld, domains or bosses. Since then most new chars that are not a potential support for him have become uninteresting to me. Even Arle only gets a yawn. Saves me a ton of money. Money I will use on Wrio's C6R5. Can hardly wait for his re-run! I hope you will also have that much fun with your mains. :)
320 pulls for C2R1. Haven't been able to actually play her much since I still need to get the ascension/weekly boss mats to raise her fully, but I know she's gonna be great.
I haven't even fully built my Arlecchino yet and she is already the funnest dps in the game for me. She is so much smoother than Neuv for me and I'm clearing spiral abyss faster than ever before with her.
might just be new char syndrome but ion think her dps is better than hu tao r1, but it is on par at least. her being a simple button masher might be more valuable for some players, but hu tao now has xianyun plunge as well, so you get even more damage with jump plunge cancel instead of jump cancelling. Another thing, typically hu tao doesnt have to be at the brink of death for her on field time despite being... on the brink of death. her survivability is way better. so in terms of "whos easier to play" it comes down to if you want to dodge enemies atks or jump cancel. idk just some things to take into consideration
I’ve always found hu taos playstyle to be wonky with and without plunge. So to see an actual aoe alternative version of her that also does more dmg is a big w in my book
The biggest benefit I noticed with Arle over Hu Tao so far is just that you get the pyro app from the mark to do vv setups or trigger overload for Chev with its just a nice QOL but like in single target I'm not seeing a noticeable difference (haven't tried in AOE enough yet)
he has a utility passive, not a combat passive. His +1 weapon skill passive applies to the whole party. Arle's third passive is more like Kokomi's -100% Crit/+25% Healing, which means she should have ANOTHER passive that brings some sort of utility on top of the No-Healing-In-Combat/+40% Pyro-in-combat passive.
I quite like the idea of Ballad of the Fjord for Arlecchino. I'm close to getting r5 of it (just one more copy; I'm using it on Cyno), so I can give that to her and completely disregard EM in my substats since it'll give her 240 just for existing. I'll probably be leveling an r5 white tassel for pure pyro comps and switch her to my ballad for vape/overload

I'm super happy I got her. Before the update I realized I don't have a single suitable 5 star polearm Only other polearm character I use is Cyno. So I gave her R3 Deathmatch and a very good Gladiator set. I want her weapon so much but I won't buy crystals for it. I'll prepare for the rerun.
IDK, I'm using her at level 80 and talent level 6-6-6 and she is as strong as my other maxed out dps's. But I do have craked artifacts. Either way, she is awsome.
No more immersion breaking than having to run around killing hilichurls given what we know about them… Brain automatically relegates in game enemies to Cardboard Cutouts with move sets
Did you get any good results when using Shogun as off-field DPS? As in, using her Baleful Omen as a means to trigger overload on Arlecchino? I have a some-what decent build Shogun myself, but sadly my Chev (C0), Miko, and Fischl is low level and without anything built into them. Because I am thinking of trying out an overload build for my own Arlecchino team, and I was considering Shogun+Bennett for that purpose.
I find that rosaria arlecchino is actually pretty fun ive been running them with dehya and zhongli and its pretty comfy although you could switch zhongli with kazuha as well

Also, do you think that if I'd currently use R1 Deathmatch for her that it might be worth to pull on the weapon banner as much as it would be worth pulling for C1 because the damage increase would be the same (so dmg increase from R1 deathmatch = C1 damage increase)? She's a high risk high reward character with a mechanic heavily reliant on real time execution. Bold of you to assume the average player has the skill expression to maximize her output without a shielder especially against multiple enemies. So no not really. She's most likely on par with Navia which is a healthy place to be in.

Not really, I would say she is on par with Hu Tao and Lyney what with the BoL mechanics and how they all have different optimal team comps (like how Arle and Lyney Benefit from Bennett but not Furina, while it's the opposite with Hutao) I would say for a nearly 3yr old Gacha game Hoyo is keeping the power creep balance pretty good

Nilou, Alhaitham, Hu Tao, Childe, and Yelan are still top tier; some of them have been around for 3 years. Not to mention Hyperbloom exists. If you're a new player congrats you have many viable choices and different playstyles to choose from. But when you focus on new characters entirely for power you're either misinformed, lack game knowledge or have serious skill issues which make every bit of extra dmg count
Agreed. The devs basically said "Fuck it." and started powerceeping stuff with the release of Fontaine. Nuivellete was a BIG mistake from Hoyoverse's balancing team. I don't know wtf were they thinking. I've been farming for my favorite characters for AGES as an AR60 player and an AR56 player with a Nuivellette with shitty artifacts can do more dmg than my best build characters. You can imagine how annoying this shit is. I don't play Genshin anymore. Because farming and making my characters stronger was the only thing that was enjoyable in the game and I guess it is not gone happen anymore because of powercreep.
I think your comparison between Arle and Neuvillette undersold Neuvillette quite a bit. He's not simply strong because he has high damage and is tanky. Not only is he the easiest DPS in the game to play, but he also has AOE that is almost too perfect. He can hit an entire floor with his CA without even trying. At C0 he's so strong that his problems are not noticeable unless you're looking for them. At C1 he is so perfect that the game becomes boring. Perfect synergy with Furina, the highest damage in the game, the best AOE in the game, ridiculous tankiness, good mobility, and enough sustain to be self-sufficient for some reason. I'm very happy with Arlecchino and I plan to main her for the foreseeable future. But just like Alhaitham and Xiao, she is a tier below him. Neuvillette is that guy. He really is just on another level compared to all other top DPS right now.
Pulled her and won the50/50. She is my first dedicated Pyro dps. Underlevelled, kinda jank build with Dragonsbane still does a surprising amount of damage. Can't wait to get the Deathmatchh this battlepass and max her out over the next few months.
Father, Geo CEO, Seamstress and unlucky boy are so comfy to play. My lvl 40 Father can slap weekly boss and some fontaine local legends with this comp and she can do 10k - 20k. I really like her potential.

Not really. Most out of combat effects mean not on field, but Arleccino's means if an enemy is agro'd to you, she can't heal.

Calling her better than Neuvillette is false.. Neuv has self sustain , very high AoE and plus a lot of teams. Not to mention he can access his dmg in ease..

I originally planned to skip her but after testing her from trial I love her game play so much. She does so much dmg so fast and makes use of formerly useless mechanic so I am loving her. I got her and now I plan to triple crown her I am pleasantly surprised with how she turned out
imo. Arle is made for expert players. She’s the answer for people who consider neuv playstyle easy and boring. Different playstyle should be celebrated not frowned upon. If you don’t like it just skip it like we always do every banner. No need to gaslighting by comparing her to Neuv.

19:00 I tested melt with bennett, ganyu and rosaria and i personally quite liked it, especially considering it doesn't use teammates that i want on the other side like kazuha, zhongli, yelan xingqiu and there's no weird vv setups. It did some pretty good damage to it, and i think you may also be able to do a variation with layla for the shield and also actually take advantage of her aoe cryo application, but I haven't got her.

I use him for some Abyss levels with lots of weaker enemies he still clears faster than anyone else I have, including other Anemo units.

As a solo DPS, and only thinking in solo and DPS terms, I think she actually is the 2nd strongest. The caveats she has to achieve this do a lot to make her a balanced character. She's strong, but balanced by having a lot of drawbacks.
I think that the 5 second wait before you can begin to attack after her skill hinders her a lot as a solo DPS
@@kamaleonte04hardly. If you're using her solo there's a good chance you'll have her c2 which removes the need to wait. And if you're not vertically investing in her you probably shouldn't be trying to use her solo. Non-issue.

I just wanted to add about her healing, while she’s in battle she can’t be healed but she can be healed when not in battle by healers which is why the statues of the seven can heal her.

A thing about her overworld exploration. She's as fast as Yelan, with a slightly slower startup but gets an extra 2 seconds to travel and she can fly over water. So she can replace Yelan in your overworld team if you're tired of her or want an element change. Using Stamina isn't a big issue, my exploration team hasn't even used stamina in like a year. Between Yelan, Wanderer, and another anemo (Now Xianyun, but could also be Sayu or Kazuha) you can keep using abilities that are faster than running and expend no stamina. The Anemo resonance works on her flying and it's really good for that.
Fair critique, everyone else is riding the hype farm with her lol. I also think she is mostly a step up to Hu Tao but I know that Natlan will have the Pyro Archon gimmick that works best with a Natlan Pyro unit so I'm going to play the waiting game and power gauge if we're getting another Neuv+Furina combo.

She's one of the most fun characters I've played. And to me she's a better Hu Tao in every way. Also her C1 makes her dmg absolutely cracked even at "lower" levels (mine is lvl 70 with lvl 70 Primordial Jade Winged Spear she does more damage than my Wriothesley at lvl 80 with lvl 90 signature and good crit values. And while I love Neuviellete in terms of style and design I feel like I can't play him all the time. I could play her all day.
Also I think it's really nice that they made a bunch of other Fontaine teams not work with Bennett but made her work with Bennett. Fun fact: Zhong Li absolutely trivialises her boss since you can almost permastun him. Same thing with golems in the new artifact domain.

I love how she plays; was worried about the healing, but it's fine and I like being forced to be more careful instead of being lazy (no shielder).
She might have insane frontload , but Neuvi can sustain his damage over long periods and his rotations are a lot smoother. He can start shreding new waves easily.
But considering the new endgame content , having variety never hurts and we don't even know which direction they will go with BOL. So there are a lot of possibilities.

18:52 the thing about running overload teams isn't so you can do overload damage, it's so you can properly take advantage of chevreuse buffs. If you were to play Lisa, I don't see any reason why you'd go damage/EM over just straight up ER for the burst and def shred. Even so, she'll still need crazy amounts of ER and it's just not worth it to play her over something like fischl, yae or beidou.

Agree. For many reasons….. Neuvillette is strong, has flexible teams good ftp weapons. He is not risky and is always guaranteed great damage. Arlecchino is best pyro but not best dps. I would still put Alhaitham above her also. Dendro is still dendro and op.

Versatility is a huge part of what makes neuvi great even before arle neuvillette wasn't the highest damage dealer when compared to hu tao in their best comps but he is able to slot in so many teams types, can go without shield if enemy isn't as aggressive and that's where he wins over other dps.@@chaunceyxvi830

I got a copy in 50 pulls which is good since it means I have enough left over for Clorinde in 4.7. I put some Gladiators on her with an R5 Deathmatch. She's stuck at level 40 until tomorrow after work since I don't have time to do the quest and gather her specific mats tonight. Even at level 40 (on an AR60 world) I am impressed with her damage in the overworld.
I as a day one Genshin player have been waiting for *those* two mains. But I never found them. I have so many five stars that I don't really use. Mostly cus of personality.
After much time FINALLY I have decided on Navia and Neuvillete as my two mains. I got Neuvillete in the rerun now only saving for Navia.
Plus I find power washing and shotgun firing the teyvat openworld fun as a bonus also 😆
That's exactly my experience! I used Eula as my main for a long time but unfortunately she lacks power. Now I'm planning on maining Navia and Neuvillete as well. They're strong and fun to play. And I love both of their personalities.
I have never pulled for a Constellation or weapon before but I had to pull con Neuvillete C1. I regret not pulling for Navia's weapon but I hope to get it in her rerun.

Not day one, but two years of playing GI. I don't know, but to me the game got so much more fun when I finally found my main. In my case that's Wriothesley. Most put him in S tier, some only in A, but with C5R1 I regret not one cent I've spent on him (a lot of cents...). I sometimes add Zhongli when fighting a boss, sometimes Nahida and Bennett need to help out when I fight something with high cryo res/shield. But other than that there is no need for any other characters in his team. 90% of stuff he will deal with all by himself - no matter if overworld, domains or bosses. Since then most new chars that are not a potential support for him have become uninteresting to me. Even Arle only gets a yawn. Saves me a ton of money. Money I will use on Wrio's C6R5. Can hardly wait for his re-run!

I haven't even fully built my Arlecchino yet and she is already the funnest dps in the game for me. She is so much smoother than Neuv for me and I'm clearing spiral abyss faster than ever before with her.
might just be new char syndrome but ion think her dps is better than hu tao r1, but it is on par at least. her being a simple button masher might be more valuable for some players, but hu tao now has xianyun plunge as well, so you get even more damage with jump plunge cancel instead of jump cancelling. Another thing, typically hu tao doesnt have to be at the brink of death for her on field time despite being... on the brink of death. her survivability is way better. so in terms of "whos easier to play" it comes down to if you want to dodge enemies atks or jump cancel. idk just some things to take into consideration

I’ve always found hu taos playstyle to be wonky with and without plunge. So to see an actual aoe alternative version of her that also does more dmg is a big w in my book
The biggest benefit I noticed with Arle over Hu Tao so far is just that you get the pyro app from the mark to do vv setups or trigger overload for Chev with its just a nice QOL but like in single target I'm not seeing a noticeable difference (haven't tried in AOE enough yet)

he has a utility passive, not a combat passive. His +1 weapon skill passive applies to the whole party.
Arle's third passive is more like Kokomi's -100% Crit/+25% Healing, which means she should have ANOTHER passive that brings some sort of utility on top of the No-Healing-In-Combat/+40% Pyro-in-combat passive.
Finally someone tested every character and talked about layla (i wanted some thoughts about her) xD ty i appreciate the video ^^

I quite like the idea of Ballad of the Fjord for Arlecchino. I'm close to getting r5 of it (just one more copy; I'm using it on Cyno), so I can give that to her and completely disregard EM in my substats since it'll give her 240 just for existing. I'll probably be leveling an r5 white tassel for pure pyro comps and switch her to my ballad for vape/overload

I'm super happy I got her. Before the update I realized I don't have a single suitable 5 star polearm Only other polearm character I use is Cyno. So I gave her R3 Deathmatch and a very good Gladiator set.

IDK, I'm using her at level 80 and talent level 6-6-6 and she is as strong as my other maxed out dps's. But I do have craked artifacts. Either way, she is awsome.
My boyfriend who just started playing pulled her and went trough Dragonspine without any help. She is really good for starting players as well.

Did you get any good results when using Shogun as off-field DPS? As in, using her Baleful Omen as a means to trigger overload on Arlecchino? I have a some-what decent build Shogun myself, but sadly my Chev (C0), Miko, and Fischl is low level and without anything built into them. Because I am thinking of trying out an overload build for my own Arlecchino team, and I was considering Shogun+Bennett for that purpose.

I find that rosaria arlecchino is actually pretty fun ive been running them with dehya and zhongli and its pretty comfy although you could switch zhongli with kazuha as well
She will be the best Pyro DPS for the next 6-8 months and its a guarantee she will get Powercreep by the Pyro Sovereign.
i doubt she’ll be a dps though since they tend to make archons support types in order to make sure they don’t get powercrept

Also, do you think that if I'd currently use R1 Deathmatch for her that it might be worth to pull on the weapon banner as much as it would be worth pulling for C1 because the damage increase would be the same (so dmg increase from R1 deathmatch = C1 damage increase)? I kinda found that use a pyro damage goblet is very essential for the damage- high ATK is not necessarily going to do a lot of damage

She's a high risk high reward character with a mechanic heavily reliant on real time execution. Bold of you to assume the average player has the skill expression to maximize her output without a shielder especially against multiple enemies. So no not really. She's most likely on par with Navia which is a healthy place to be in.

Not really, I would say she is on par with Hu Tao and Lyney what with the BoL mechanics and how they all have different optimal team comps (like how Arle and Lyney Benefit from Bennett but not Furina, while it's the opposite with Hutao)
I would say for a nearly 3yr old Gacha game Hoyo is keeping the power creep balance pretty good

Nilou, Alhaitham, Hu Tao, Childe, and Yelan are still top tier; some of them have been around for 3 years. Not to mention Hyperbloom exists. If you're a new player congrats you have many viable choices and different playstyles to choose from. But when you focus on new characters entirely for power you're either misinformed, lack game knowledge or have serious skill issues which make every bit of extra dmg count

I've been farming for my favorite characters for AGES as an AR60 player and an AR56 player with a Nuivellette with shitty artifacts can do more dmg than my best build characters. You can imagine how annoying this shit is.
I don't play Genshin anymore. Because farming and making my characters stronger was the only thing that was enjoyable in the game and I guess it is not gone happen anymore because of powercreep.
I think your comparison between Arle and Neuvillette undersold Neuvillette quite a bit. He's not simply strong because he has high damage and is tanky. Not only is he the easiest DPS in the game to play, but he also has AOE that is almost too perfect. He can hit an entire floor with his CA without even trying. At C0 he's so strong that his problems are not noticeable unless you're looking for them. At C1 he is so perfect that the game becomes boring. Perfect synergy with Furina, the highest damage in the game, the best AOE in the game, ridiculous tankiness, good mobility, and enough sustain to be self-sufficient for some reason.
I'm very happy with Arlecchino and I plan to main her for the foreseeable future. But just like Alhaitham and Xiao, she is a tier below him. Neuvillette is that guy. He really is just on another level compared to all other top DPS right now.

Father, Geo CEO, Seamstress and unlucky boy are so comfy to play. My lvl 40 Father can slap weekly boss and some fontaine local legends with this comp and she can do 10k - 20k. I really like her potential.
