Amen brother
I mostly listening to Christian rap and pop and love it
Amen 🙏🏾
Not sure if you caught the bar that said “had a baby mama, forced her to get an abortion, when I die I hope I get to meet him”
Its cool to hear you use to listen to Lecrae, especially since his sound has definitely changed. I started listening to him back in 2011/2012 when he started changing the sound.
I know I’ve recommended some Andy Mineo. So Andy is probably the 2nd biggest artists on Lecrae’s label and he’s 🔥
There are so many great songs by Lecrae! “Coming In Hot” by Lecrae and Andy is also a great one, fun music video too. Hopefully you do some more Lecrae. With that you’ll probably get more requests from Bizzle, KB, Nobigdyl, Swoope and many more but all these guys are 🔥 I’d put them up against anyone in mainstream!!
I loved the evolution to the new sound, proves to me plenty of good artists are on both sides of the aisle!
Man I said it perfectly! The mainstream has a death grip type pull that the young people cannot avoid! So to the ones who can reach out there without compromising their character, kudos! These jokers on here criticizing acting like Bishop McFancy Pants (stole that from J. Monty - u need to hear his stuff). Man we should be praying for these seeds to bring forth much fruit!
@6:35 I was like “did I just hear a Christian gun-bar?!” 🔥
For that section where he was “talking to people”, you’ll notice in the music video at that moment there was those guys talking about being “alpha males”, and then he came and closed up their computers and dipped. Those guys might even aligned themselves with faith, thinking that in order to be a strong Christian man you have to oppress everybody else, and Lecrae is pointing out that that’s not how he is and people who want to align with him are doing so against who he is.
Excellent review my brother 👏🏿 Lecrae is most likely pushing back at his critics. Hey if you like this you need to listen to a few cuts of his Let the trap say album with Zaytoven🔥 2 sides to the game, Preach, Yet, Switch, Holy Water, Get back right, Blue strips, man all them joints bang🎤
React to stormie leigh whiskey & lines
Lecrae first 3 albums were definitely faith filled then after the Gravity album it was just more conscious rap then God driven rap. Yes the song your talking about is called "Dont Waste Your Life" is motivation. I am more a Bryson Gray & Tyson James guy now. I also like Ruslan. PS Andy Mineo is a great rapper but even he changed up but love his older stuff the best. Lecrae is releasing Church Clothes 4 soon.
Ain't no'n wrong with CR and I encourage ,it's just relating to people on a deeper level which is what God is always doing with humans "connecting" and coming out with songs about drug abuse and physical abuse is just as God glorifying as singing "praise the Lord" coz ain't no way God want His kids to be popping pills and stuff ,CR is a way of helping people on a mental level
Bruh how can you like Bryson Gray when he can’t even admit Jesus Deity. He doesn’t believe Jesus is God and been call out on it multiple times.
@@domenickbrown451I believe Jesus is God. Bryson says Jesus is of God. I saw that Ruslan interview. Bryson believes the trinity is 3 different things (Father, Son & Holy Spirit) instead of one. The best metaphor is water is solid(ice) liquid (drinking water) gas ( vapor, humidifier) all 3 are the same thing. Bryson is wrong in the way he interprets it but is a believer & that's what matters most.
@@bpankey1976 ua-cam.com/users/shortsLkD_-tgRILY?feature=share literally from the horse mouth. If he doesn’t believe Jesus is God he isn’t brother in Christ simple as that. He literally said that he not God in that video but of God.
Checkout Andy Mineo or Bizzle. Both great Christian artists.
Andy and lecrae have coming in hot and been about it. Both fire tracks.
Bizzle you should checkout Poppin
Sevin is the real deal also God Over Money Datin is real.
Lecrae has sold his soul.
What makes I say that? I feel like we look at guys and think they are only supposed to rap scripture so we recognize it as godly. What do we think Jesus was saying to people when he was meeting with folks that religious people didn’t think he should have? I think He spoke in a way that they understood and that was able to be digested. This is what I think they have done. And they ALL still have songs that definitely let u know their relationship with Christ is in tact. But selfish people who only want to hear music that they like forget there are others the mission is designed to impact. I know so many people who weren’t in the church who have been impacted during this “change” u speak of. I think that was the goal, bringing people into the kingdom and not just feeding people who already full and have plenty of options.
@@warrenpughsley8352 Ask Lecrae ? I've seen his interviews and he does not back up the Word. He is in and of the world.
@@tophat8190 u can say what u think ab his opinion on certain subject
But he's definitely openly in Christ
Mentoring others bro like Hulvey,1k phew
and the whole 116 wave.
Imo he just evolved in his vision
And it's coo since he definitely still touching ppl out there for Christ
@@PrinceLPG Christ is loving but He does have rules. This is His book so He makes the rules. We don't change our minds on his Law, we back them up through truth and scripture.
@@tophat8190Totally agree
But Id listened to his music (past and recent) and there's nothing i can use to think he turn back on gis faith.
He might had his flaws (as he himself openly talk about )
But I can't say he sold his soul or things
Since he's still vastly spreading the Gospel and his testimony in his song
