I'm from Cardiff (living in the USA) and this is one of the finest renditions that I've heard of this beautiful song. It does my heart so much good to hear it - especially in these times.

I am half Welsh and this song fills my heart. It always has.
Is there any other country in the world that in such a small area geographically has as rich a diversity as Britain ?. From Lands End to John O Groats this great country of ours is a never ending source of wonderment for me. I come from the Black Country and i am proud of my area and it's part in the history of this country and just like me when the good people of Wales hear this they must have the same feelings that anyone in any in their part of our great land must have. A shining example of all that is great about Wales.

Why keep a welcome in the hillsides? Did they burn down all the houses or what? I'm being facetious. Seriously though this is a beautiful rendition of a traditional song. To my shame I've never been to Wales even though I only live across the pond from it. But after seeing this I will make it my business to go there, sooner rather than later. Ray Readron, Tom Jones and Mary Hopkin are just three people who have been excellent ambassadors for the country.
I sincerely hope you made it. It will be well worth the effort.
