Queen undoubtedly the best rabbit hole you'll ever go down, they're brilliant ❤❤❤❤
Live Aid 1985 is a MUST. ❤
Eo
Wembley I think
@@SalvatorMundi86 You know where that is?
@@gabrielbrown1855 No,shure it was not in the Wembley Stadium, because the concert startet at daylight. You can order the video of the Queen performance at the concert. They played around 25 minutes at the live aid concert
1.8 billion views. Makes it one of the MOST watched and listened to songs of ALL TIME!
Music dosent get better than this! 🙏
awww the little girl was sobbing, she's very sensitive
You said a cool thing: "Musicians see the future." I think that is because musicians make the future - there is power in their visions and words and they are usually ahead of less creative people in exhorting people to do the right thing and be themselves - so it's a self fulfilling process.
You are right about the sound - it becomes even more intense and impactful with headphones .
Nice reaction all!!! Suggest another Queen song - “Somebody to Love” a live performance from 1981 in Montreal . Queen are known for being as good if not better live than studio - and studio is always amazing .
The other iconic Queen performance that others will tell you about is their 20 minute “set” during a day long music extravaganza with 7 live satellites sending broadcast into a guesstimated audience of about 1.9 billion people and 72k audience attending in London and 90k in Philadelphia
Many many top musicians played that day (13th July 1985) to help raise money for relief of the Ethiopian famine - this was “Live Aid” 1985.
Most agree that Queen and in particular Freddie put on the most impressive live performance of all time - it’s a must watch!
agree, definitely need headphones
This is a masterpiece. Queen was/is one of the best and most legendary bands that ever existed. Their beauty & grace & creative energy is what they are. Incredible!
The lady on the left: Your tears were so powerful.
Best band and frontman that ever lived. GOATS!!!!!
BEST SONG EVER MADE!!!!
Wonderful reaction! Loved watching your faces and seeing how some of you were moved to tears. You are correct - this song was a true work of art and continues to inspire new music artists today, almost 50 years after it was released. Queen were true visionaries and matchless in their music. Thank you for this. I’m looking forward to watching more of your reactions.
Definitely take the dive into more Queen! Their legendary!! :)
This is what you call a Rock Opera they are amazing. Loved your reaction❤❤❤
That is my favourite song ever I know every word to it
It was beautiful to see how the power of his music all these decades later can still bring someone to tears. Great reaction! :)
I was crying with you. It's a beautiful song, and your reaction was so pure and honest.
Try this with headphones I promise you will here this differently and properly, and it's brilliant ❤
Queen was way ahead of their time. I have seen them in concert back on the late 70s. What an amazing group of men. You just opened up tge rabbit hole now to dive deep. All their music is amazing. Somebody to love, white queen are my favorites. Have fun listening to their music
Girl front left in the black shirt. I had the same reaction. Music is special. Great reaction.
This song is like a modern day opera in three acts. First is the crime and the remorse ‘Mama just killed a man’, Second act is the court case and sentence ‘Let him go! No, we will not let you go’, and finally the last act is the anger and defiance at the sentence ‘so you think you can stop me and spit in my eye?’. Freddie Mercury was a genius, ably backed by guitar maestro Brian May. Imagine what Freddie could have written had he lived longer. ❤ By the way, the silver snake bracelet he is wearing in the video sold recently at auction for $881,000 USD. Freddie was and still is loved.
The lyrics are 'So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye?.
Great reaction. You need to watch Queen live at the Live Aid 1986.
It's a crime to listen to Bohemian Rhapsody without headphones as you can't get the full effect of the panning etc, and to pause in the middle of Sir Dr Brian May's guitar solo, just a word of advice ! Great reaction to the LEGENDS !
Guys, your emotional reaction is so precious. Don't be ashamed of your tears. They are cathartic and soul cleansing. Looking forward to your next reaction. May God Bless you all!
Lovely Reaction.Thank You.
Great reaction guys to Freddies masterpiece.
Preciosa canción, todo un clásico en la historia de la música. Grande ánimo chicos con vuestras reacciones. Hi from Spain
Fun fact. Freddie Mercury although of Persian-Indian descent, was born in the then British Protectorate of Zanzibar in Africa.
You got there before me!! 😀
...als FAROUK BULSARA
My goodness. That is just a roomful of gorgeous 🙂
They just don't make music like this anymore. RIP Freddie Mercury. It's so hard to believe he's been gone 33 years already.
I loved everyone’s heartfelt reaction to this fantastic song ….. yes, you should react to more Queen songs. They have like 300 songs over 20 years of hits….many iconic songs that you might recognize. Most all of their songs are better when done live than the studio releases. Please react to Somebody to Love live in Montreal 1981. Thank you
What a wonderful piece of creativity 'eh? In ancient Roman times a rhapsody was 3 or more parts. This song certainly has that. I saw Queen and Freddie in concert in Montreal, Nov 24, 1981. To this day well worth the 8000km round road trip it took to get there. Sadly, Freddie also passed the same day and date in 1991. My B-day. I light a candle for him and play Who Wants to Live Forever every year.
I appreciate SO much your groups reaction. So many people who critique that video laugh nervously because it surprises them. But all of your reactions were full of respect. Thank you. : )
Reaction Queen somebody to love live 1981 pliss 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Up
I’ve heard this song referred to as a mock opera. I just love it.
This is such a beautiful song. The lyrics can seem a bit harsh depending upon how you view them, but I have always thought of this song as a reflective idea of an opera. Tragedy, Drama and an ending that never really comes to fruition, leaving the listener to draw their own conclusions...because in the end, nothing really matters. Thank you for your reactions.
Wow. Wow. Wow. This is why I love to watch reaction videos. The raw emotion at hearing beautiful music warms my heart. What a sensitive & wonderful family. ❤
I throughly enjoyed your reaction to one of my favorite songs from Queen, thank you. Please listen to more of Queen, you won't regret it promise. I've been listening to Queen for about 48 years and I believe I know true Queen fans when I see them and that would be all the beautiful people sitting right in front of me. More Queen please, hint- " White Queen" A Night at the Odeon, Hammersmith, Live 1975. The best hidden gem in their catalog, it's a hauntingly beautiful and incredibly unique.🫶👑🌈💙
Love you guys for showing respect for QUEEN and MY FREDDIE 🌷 G O A T 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛👑👑👑
Thanks - such a classic and unique song.. now almost FIFTY years old... headphones, btw, make it even more amazing... appreciate all of your reactions and look forward to more!
such a great and natural reaction . Greetings from Germany from a very big Queen fan.
It's much better with headphones 👍🏼👍🏼
Arguable the best front man of all time, lost way too soon. RIP Freddie Mercury, the world misses your incredible talent. This song is a masterpiece, the whole band up there just casually being incredible.
Freddie Mercury the greatest front man ever. Wonderfully reacted to!
Roundabout by YES off the Fragile album is a peach 🎶🙏🎶
The girl in green was definitely a big fan of this song.
React to this same song sung live in Montreal 5 years later. Freddie's voice is nothing short of spectacular
Wonderful to see a serious and real reaction. You really understood this music and took it to heart.
The reactions from you all is absolutely wonderful as we in the UK regard Queen as the elite. This song is timeless and iconic and I would like to thank you for recognising that. Blessings to you all. ❤️🇬🇧
Just one of their songs is a complete masterpiece! Guitarist Brian May has a two-part here on UA-cam that explains how they layered all of these voices.
Either full
Or 3 part
Rule #2 do a reaction to somebody to love in Montreal in 1981.
Nice réaction thanks 😊
this is music. No autotune. People actually playing instruments. You might want to try Peter Frampton, he was just inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. Midnight special do you feel like we do. Good voice great guitarist maestro on the talk box which he made popular.
RIP Freddy Mercury, DA MAN!
I think Freddie is singing about moving on from the 'old / previous' Freddie --- So the key lyric is " Put a gun against his ( the old Freddie ) head," "Pulled MY trigger, now he's dead". ( Old Freddie is gone, new Freddie is hear or Freddie is acknowledging his sexuality. Beautiful talented Freddie was Gay. )
Hello From southern USA!❤ u guy are a joy. I can not wait to see all the cool things u will get to see!!!! If u need any suggestions let me know! Peace
Loved all of your reactions, thank you! If you are not familiar with Queen's live performances, I highly recommend you check them out. There is no better live band, IMO, and certainly no better front man than Freddie Mercury. Queen does not disappoint!
The harmonies in the beginning of the song were all Freddie Mercury!! He was the only one signing and laid down 100+ tracks of himself!! Then the band joins in once Freddie is at the piano! RIP Freddie! 💜 Sir Brian May, John Deacon & Roger Taylor 💜
The intro has Mercury singing a five part harmony. They may have been double or even triple-tracked to thicken the sound but no more. The 100+ tracks relate to the operatic section where Freddie, Roger and Brian multi-tracked their voices many times.
@@alanmatthews9945 💜 @More Meet Arthur did a really cool mix breakdown of the song! They narrowed it down to single tracks and played different parts with and with instrumentals or vocals! I absolutely enjoyed it!!
Very impressive reaction , lovely people !
I love seeing your reactions! Great music is eternal and universal. Thank you for sharing
😽💋🎶💕
You are such a beautiful, sensitive family. ❤️ From northern California ☮️
Truly a masterpiece of a song. Loved your ideas and reaction. Thanks
Keep going and QUEENIES will come up out of the rabbit hole to see you 🌷 QUEEN HAS A HUGE DISCOGRAPHY ✌🏼💫⚡️💫🥂
Not to be taken literally, he didn't kill anyone, only in spirit
RIP, Freddie. He owned the stage! Freddie had four extra teeth, but he never had them removed because he didn't want to do anything that might affect his performance. I was 15 when this song came out in 1975 (yes, I'm an old lady!) and I can say that this song and the video were truly ahead of their time. This was six years before MTV was even created! Back then music videos were clips on TV shows with the band sometimes playing live, sometimes lip-synching/pretending to play their instruments. This is one of (if not *the*) first videos to be made specifically to market a song. P. S. Glad y'all were quiet at the end of the song! Some people talk over the end, but I love the way Freddie whisper-sings 'Any way the wind blows' and then the soft gong!
Rule #1 - Thou must NEVER pause in the middle of a guitar solo 🤣
Especially when it's a Brian May guitar solo.
There's no swing now. Music is pushed through lap tops. Now. This is real music.
Great reaction.
Welcome to my kind of music! The song is completely 🤗Round❤️
Innuendo, Who Wants to Live Forever and The Show Must Go On. Plus about another 50 or so more.
400+* 😂 The best version of who wants to Live forever in my estimation is in Budapest. That's a really underrated concert. I love the bowl in 1981. I saw them in Puebla, Mexico in 1981. I was 18, and that was it for me.
Eventually you will want to listen to the 1985 Live Aid Concert - but you should work up to it by listening to other hits of theirs first.
If im not mistaken this was one of (if not the) first ever music videos made
music videos were in the 60s, Animals did a 1964 video of House of the Rising Sun in color, no color tvs then and in 70mm widescreen when it did not exist on any format except theaters.
It was the first
@@margaretmaged2584. It wasn't.
You need to react to Bee Gees , too much heaven , how deep is your love, too love somebody , lonely days, fanny be tender with my love, staying alive. So many more songs, They are brothers and a wonderful band and have a little brother Andy who was also a great singer.please check them out
Check my channel

Thx for the thoughtful reaction.
Powerful reaction, great stuff. x
thanks for watching
I loved your reaction! This is a masterpiece. One of a kind and timeless! 💙 I just subscribed to your channel. Please react to more Queen! ✌
wow....just found your channel. loved this reaction. Queen was incomparable.
i have this record along with so many other of theirs. i have heard people give explanations about what this is about i do believe this is his coming out anthem to his mom and girlfriend.
And there were no synthesisers used in this song.
Journey - Don't Stop Believin' (Live 1981: Escape Tour - 2022 HD Remaster)
This one is great to do for a family reaction.
Up
Watch the Movie Bohemian Rhapsody
Please don't!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've seen so many people react to this song and completely not even notice or react to the gun part. Great reaction from great people!
So true.
Lovely reaction, thank you. Please do more Queen but remember two things: first, Queen are always best live, and second, never pause during a Brian May guitar solo or you'll get such grief from fans!
This song is a perfect example of Queen being better in the studio version.
La superposition du son et de l'image est pratiquement parfaite, mais il s'agit bien ici de la version studio.
The superimposition of sound and image is virtually perfect, but this is indeed the studio version.
I think his message was that he had killed his old self.
Love your reaction .❤
No auto-tune here.
Please, open the legends 😢
Nice guys hope to see some pink floyd reactions
We will be reacting to Pink Floyd next⏭️
Great reaction guys!!
there is a whole movie about Queen and Freddy it is really good
Watch the movie Bohemian Rhapsody to understand what the lyrics mean.
Rami Malek won an Oscar for his performance of Freddie Mercury. It’s a biopic, not a documentary so liberties were taken, but it does a good job of correctly depicting their trajectory to fame.
do Beatles please or Paul McCartney please or John Lennon please or ringo Starr please
John Lennon
Ben, don't you like George??
@@tomroome4118 that's okay, I don't care for Paul ☮️
Thank you for your reactions! I finally get to say, this is the first time I’ve seen anyone mention the death sentence. And I have watched a lot of reactions to Bohemian Rhapsody! Thanks
Can u play nightwish ghost love score live u will love it 😊
I enjoyed your group reaction.
Try to get the sound in STEREO as there are parts they send one sound to the left speaker the next sound to the right speaker etc. really swirls the music around you.
the gun and killing were metaphorical. I think of it this was.
A CAPELLA ... is this real or fantasy (he's questioning his situation)
BALLAD ... mama just killed a guy (confession . a choosing to end inner conflict between hetero and homo killing off one side of himself .. a decision that would make his mother sad)
OPERA ... a little silhouette (being judged and rejected by society, pleading in court for acceptance)
ROCK ... so you think you can (anger and being judged & sentenced)
CODA ... nothing really matters (resolve and inner peace and acceptance of oneself)
a really powerful journey
took him 10 years to write
1965 the start of the process he was 19 and it was literally illegal to be gay (prison) in the UK until 1968 ... talk about society not accepting you!!!!
good luck, great job, try the band Rush, song Tom Sawyer
This is Freddie Mercurys coming out song. This is a gay man’s confession.
Great reaction guys.
I have something in my eye.
Where are you guys from?
