I think it's so cute that no matter what accent Rachel is attempting (French, German, Swiss, British, etc.), she will always sound like Felonious Gru from Despicable Me. She never fails to put me in a good mood, which is why we really need a 24/7 Rachel-cam/Rachel Channel.

The mug pancake is a staple of mine. As a college student, I have no time to wait over the stove for my pancakes to cook or the resources, so the mug pancake is a go-to

This is the best recipe for chocolate lava mug cake I swear
2 parts (I do tablespoons) neutral oil
2 water
2 parts sugar
Mix together
Then add
2 parts flour
A pinch of salt
1 part cocoa
Mix until completely incorporated, I microwave at full power for 30 seconds and then I usually do 10 or 20 additional seconds, it should look set on the top but can still seem like it’s liquid beneath. Be careful not to overcook. Serve with vanilla ice cream. Heavenly, as good as non microwave cakes.

I love the gemma’s mug cake. I keep the dry ingredients all preportioned and mixed for each individual cake in little mason jars. So when I’m craving it I just add the wet ingredients which I always have on hand and it makes it even faster
Little tip Rachel: when making a mug cake, make sure to spray your mug! Makes clean up so much easier
By far my FAVE mug cake recipe. You will NOT be dissapointed - can use any berries, and I bet peaches or pears would be lovely as well! Fresh or frozen (if frozen, warm up in the microwave and drain off the juices. You can reserve, mix in a little sugar, and drizzle on top)
Strawberry Cobbler
Serving: 1
INGREDIENTS
4 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
? teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons milk
¾ cup strawberries, sliced
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
PREPARATION
In a small mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda, and stir until well incorporated.
Add butter and milk and mix in until wet dough forms.
In a small ramekin, combine strawberries and powdered sugar until dissolved.
Add the dough to the top of the strawberry mixture and microwave for 90 seconds.
Allow to cool and garnish with whipped cream.
Enjoy!

Joanna Gaines' recipe for after school banana bread 👌 it's in her Magnolia Table cookbook but you can also find it with a Google search. It's amazing. I always add some cinnamon to the batter for extra flavor.
I recently became addicted to mug cakes and most of the ones I tried were decent so it'll be interesting to see how they go for you!

Haven’t watched yet but if you didn’t try Ree Drummond’s mug cake, you need to. Though I use 1T white, milk and dark chocolate chips. So so naughty and good.

This video made me think of microwave things I made when I was a kid. Maybe you could do a video of recipes people made as kids. I use to take a tortilla and add butter, sugar and cinnamon in it and melt that and then roll it up!

If you go one the “How to Cook That” channel on UA-cam you will find all kinds of great recipes on there because Anne is a professional baker and she not only tests out and debunks these kinds of recipes but she will usually include a fix or better yet a recipe for the same thing.

During my university years I often made microwave cheesecakes for my flatmate and me when we came back from tough exams :)
I don't remember now the exact recipe, but it was a layer of cheesecake batter (with cottage cheese, egg, milk, vanilla, flour and some sugar), a thin layer of cocoa powder and a layer of biscuit crumbles and that repeater several times (so there were 3-6 cheesecake batter layers). I baked it in those tall Ikea glasses, so we could see the patterns on the sides (it looked really fancy :D ) and I could easily control the time.

I made the one you made in the plaid mug and it came out really nice and moist. I omitted the chocolate chunks and added white chocolate chips

I went to a Pampered Chef Party a long time ago and they made a chocolate lava cake in one of their large rice cookers. It came out really great. Of course I bought the rice cooker just to make that cake again but I did also make rice in it too. It was really easy. Get your favorite boxed cake, mix it all with the instructions on the box in the rice cooker. Get a chocolate fudge frosting from the store (Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, etc. do not used the whipped ones) and put like half of that on top of the cake in the middle - do not mix it. Microwave for 8-10 min depending on how strong your microwave is. Let it sit for a few min after you take it out, then flip it onto a place. When you cut into it the fudge frosting oozes out. It was delicious. There are videos on people making them on here. I think you could do it in any large microwave rice cooker. Not sure if you could just do it in a regular bowl or not, I've never tried doing that before.
I discovered Gemmas’s Focaccia recipe that I use for homemade pizza during this pandemic. We add a little Za’Atar seasoning to the dough and it’s chef’s kiss. Now that I’ve talked about I’ve got to make it this week 😍
When I make chocolate mug cakes I use preppy kitchens recipe and that one is really bomb
That one is so underrated it literally is so good, i half it cause 700 cal for dessert on a monday night, no bueno. And it is so good with ice cream and pb chips

Best and easiest mug cake. 2 boxes of cake mix, 1 must be angel food cake. Mix up the box mixes. 3 tbs cake mix, 2 tbs water, 1 minute in the microwave. The easiest and best! And the mix lasts forever, mug cakes for days, literally!
I make mug pancakes for my kids all the time. Throw in some mini chocolate chips or peanut butter chips, so good. I just use pancake mix and water. So easy!

We love mug cake! Our favorite mug cake (after doing some similar testing during my daughter's finals one year) is from Cleobuttera - Molten Chocolate Mug Cake. It is amazing, and it works really well. Also it usually tastes better to let the mug cakes stand for at least 5 minutes after microwaving, then turn them out onto a plate to cool. Especially if you are going to serve to kids. I recommend a scoop of vanilla ice cream for Cleobuttera's cake!
