Hi folks. Maybe want to polish the top of camper w a silicone based polish in say September. Keep ice sliding off. OR could use silicone spray monthly in winter on sunny days.//Suggest put down plastic sheet when spray the top keep driveway friction. NOTE keep silicone spray inside at room temp to get good spray pattern before use outdoors. The propellant for silicone spray cools off even in garage at 45F in winter. //I spray my snow blower flights and chutes w silicone spray so snow doesn't pack in.
I wish you would do some tour of your bed and all.amenities on this pop ip camper i am planning the same with my honda ridgeline and was hoping to get some idea please
Hows it hold up to rain and wind?...the rain loud? can it blow the walls inward?..looks like that inner latch is only thing keeping walls from blowing inward....maybe have an inner cross bar from side to side to prevent that from hapening. looks cool though.
It has held up to significant winds in Kansas and beachside in Assateague. The rain is no louder than it would be in a tent ;) we have had zero leaking from the roof or side panels.
Not really, the way the walls fold the outside sections are not exposed to the interior. We pop it up at home to let it fully dry though, and use some moisture absorbing stuff inside between trips. We have had some pretty heavy rainfall and seen minimal water inside. I think if we were expecting heavy snowfall or ice we would cover with a tarp in the future...
The bed tent looks cool! We thought about it soon after we bought our RL. Many good solutions. There is goodness in whatever gets you out seeing new things, growing and spending quality time with self, friends and family.
Yeah, this is typical of a startup that doesn't have a plan to scale capacity or manage demand. Founders underestimate the difference between having a cool idea and scaling a viable, growing business. The folks at Hiatus would be better served by licensing their patent to a larger scale manufacturer.
Great price. The amount of research and development that it takes justifies. This is by far the best pop- up on the market. Hat's off from Canada.
Awesome....thank you for filming that. The young design team from Hiatus did a great job on that pop-up.
Erin and Tyler were great to work with! The camper is well constructed and the design is one of a kind.
Nice looking camper, looks good on the Ridgeline.
More please
Thanks so much! Working on it. Learned a lot on my 3800 mile return trip. Planning to post video on keeping weight under GVWR (ie. legal) weight soon.

Nice pop up camper! Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant
Looks nice, what’s the overall height when closed, it looks like it could fit in a garage?
How is the fan and the LED lights connected to the power source??? It doesn't look like you could run wiring through the folding panels???
Does your gear/bed get wet if you fold things down and its been raining or snowing outside?

Good job jajajajajajajajaa
American superlative
When you bring it down to snow or water from the side walls get the inside wet at all?

Looks great, but it's not worth fourteen grand by any means.
We'll stick with our Honda Ridgeline bed tent which costs $400.

Damn 14k!? Just get a 20ft trailer…
Bed tent? You can't compare this with a bed tent! lol That's like comparing an apple with a four course gourmet meal!
@@Yoyomanmanholla Seriously? Someone liking a relatively lightweight onboard camper shell should get a 20 ft trailer to tow?
2 year waiting list. ridiculous
