    So happy for your kids, their sense of adventure is truly a delight to see, hope you encourage them to keep their curiosity and wonder all throughout their life. Its more valuable to experience going thru a jungle looking for a waterfalls than searching for it on google.😊👍

    They are like young tarsans in this beautiful wild forest, the stream itself is a ribbon of crystal-clear water, winding its way through this scenery reminds me of the movie Emerald Forest. Thanks for sharing its indeed an amazing adventure for you and your kids..

    The plant that the kids were picking on 5:10 part is a Wild Cucumber. It's edible and it can be eaten, just pick the yellowish one because that's already ripe. In 16:20, you might probably touch Stinging Nettle Plant that sting or prickly hit your skin. But don't worry, just apply any medicinal cream of herbs like Moringa leaves, it will automatically healed. I still give you a piece of advise to take extra precautions like wild animals along the way in your adventure in the forest and hopefully, you should bring extra machete when it's needed. All the local breads in the Philippines being sold in local Bakeshops are made from Cassava Flour.

      @@ValentinaLovingPhilippinesActually it is not a wild cucumber. It is what we call in Mindoro as "TABUBOK" or "KUROMBOT" in Quezon province..Its like passion fruit and its edible. Just pick the yellow one and its sweet

    I'm getting worried when I watching 3 of you do some hiking, maybe next time you need to accompanied to some locals whom you friend to the forest, we don't know whats in there you've encounter some wild animals or anything just like what happen to you, it's a wild forest. You're 2 sons is such a brave kids and adventurous, when they get adults you have an hiking an nature adventurer buddies. Why don't you try hiking in Mt. Apo with your Russian friends? it's a nice hiking place in there. Be careful of you guys next time when go to forest again accompanied with someone.

    • @ValentinaLovingPhilippines
      @ValentinaLovingPhilippines  Місяць тому +1

      yes it's more safe to go with locals or with friends. we were thinking about hiking in Mt. Apo. but it takes 2 or 3 days. and it would be hard for kids. and we can't leave them for 2-3 days..

    Tell Micha and Costa not to eat any fruit in the forest that they do not in the market. Some might be poisonous. When you go on a jungle adventure always bring a medicine kit with some alcohol, band aid for wound. Please be very careful.

    The plant you have touched is what we called in Southern Tagalog "LIPA" and i think its "ALINGATONG" in the Visayas region..In english it is called "STINGING NETTLE"It has no poison but it can caused someone irritation in their skin when they touched it. It has burning sensation and that plant has a bigger leaves and has a rough texture. You may search LIPA plant to see what it looks like and to avoid in your future jungle adventures

    🙏🌺 when you go hiking in wild places, you should carry the homeopathic remedy ECHINACEA in tincture form and apply it immediately on the affected part of the body ...it relieves burning, itching, stinging due to contact with plants or the bite or sting of insects ...always wear proper footwears while hiking to protect feet from thorns, insects stings and snakes bite ...

      🙏🌺 the homeopathic remedy tincture ECHINACEA exists in 2 forms :
      _ one is only for application on skin ...
      _ the other is edible and can be applied on skin and also taken in mouth to help healing from burning sensation, itching, stinging etc ...🙏🌺
