A Monitor Lizard seen at 9:03. It's fortunate that you let it go back into its natural habitat, as Monitor Lizards have a tendency to hunt and feed on chickens. By 11:03, the topic shifted to Cacao (pronounced as Kakao in Filipino), which is actually pronounced as kuh-key-oh or Kakeyoh in English. Despite this, many continue to pronounce it the way it is spelled. At 16:49, another widely known root crop in the Philippines was discussed, known as Taro in English or Gabi in Cebuano.
how you Filipinos cook Taro?
That Root has many names, in the Philippines we call it Gabi, in some countrie it is called Yam root. You can add it in Curry Chicken like potato or Ginataang Gabi with a couple of chili to give good spicy aroma
thank you so much🙏❤️
You know Russians and Filipinos are de same because we love are fruit lover too..

0:13 - 0:15 the cry of an Asian koel in the background! That scared the hell out of me when I was little.

that one is "Gabi" or "karlang" in cebuano. native food growing everywhere here in the Philippines.. we boiled it seems like, sweet potato, ube but that one is little bit hard. it's good partner with
dried fish or kinilaw
_ube
_gabi
_karlang
_kamote/sweet potato
_kamoting kahoy.
_banana/lakatan
they were the same process to boiled but each of them have different style to make Filipino food..😊

Lets teach our kids to respect animals, especially the livestock, put it down as humanely as possible, never waste the food as they are the sacrifice of nature to nourish our bodies. Im enjoying your vlogs valentina, keep it coming! I love jack fruits by the way, but too much of it upsets my stomach 🤣
i noticed that if i didn't eat jackfruit for a long time and then i eat a lot, i have stomach problems. but if i eat jackfruit regularly, then no problems at all. even if i eat maaaaanyyyyyy

yes i ope to meet them)))))
My favorite jackfruit. I still buy it here in Manila even if it's expensive. The whole fruiit could sell here more than 1K pesos up to 2K. A small pack here costs 250 pesos..... less than .5 kg.
Nice place
when u eat jackfruit dip your fingers in oil so it wont stick
You really should keep your place a secret. Only for good Russians to visit and ward off undesirable Russians. Your Children will miss their childhood place when they grow up and live in Russia. Regarding the root crop, I love it boiled and eaten with a sprinkle of salt.,,, like eating potatoes.
