Hi Tania , God bless you sis. I’m a true believer and follower of Jesus Christ. I’ve been praying to see believers in Christ. And who’s encouraging others on there journey with Christ as well
Hi Kashanda. I really appreciate you stopping by the channel. I’ve prayed for God to bring true believers across my path as well. I hope you stick around to see future content. More faith based coming as the Holy Spirit guides me.
Thank you. They are traditional locs indeed but almost all of them are on the thinner side...outside of the ones I’ve combined, almost all of them are slightly smaller than a pencil. The camera/lighting, for whatever reason, just makes them look juicier than they really are 😉. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for the video! I struggle with build up around my edges! I learned quickly to stay away from gel, instead I created oil that doesn't cause build up! Thanks to another blogger! It includes: Aloe vera plant Avacado Coconut oil Olive oil So far I see no build up 🎉
Tania Locs and Life Using a dollop of shampoo on the new growth and rubbing it in to loosen buildup. I’ve tried adding ACV to shampoo to help add clarifying effect. Helps loosen/break down dirt and oil. I apply mixture to roots especially and sit with plastic bag on head a couple of hours before shampooing. Sort of a pre-poo.
I generally wouldn’t shampoo before 2 weeks just to let your locs settle; don’t go any longer than 3-4 weeks... but it depends on if you have bad dandruff. If so, you may need to shampoo at 1 week out. *Its important to wear a hairnet when you wash your locs* and be gentle when you wash them.
@@ChristandLocs Yeah my scalp gets flaky lets say like a week or just into the second week after washing. Would you suggest then to wash every week? The thing is my locs (interloced) themselves are fine its just my scalp and the little knot where the new growth meets the loc where flakes are building up. but my loctitian told me to NEVER use product under any circumstance because thats what causes buildup so I haven't been using product but i also dont know how to get my dry head under control without product lool
It depends on the aesthetic you’re going for. I’m a person who semi free forms. One of the things reiterate in my loc content is to be careful in your retightening and not to retighten too tight. Every person is different, and one person’s texture may be more resilient with retwisting more often. I’d suggest experimenting to see what works for you.
My *WHAT* is not thin? Lol...Sis, you gotta proofread your comment before leaving an unsolicited opinion ☺️. Also, thanks for the view and comment, sis. It’s really helping my video in the algorithm. 👍🏾
GREAT information!!! I have been searching for days on information concerning thinning roots/base and happy I came across your video.
I loved the “back to natural” comment! Thank you for not saying “I went natural”.
New to your channel and newly loc’d! Love your content and will be looking at all your content!☺️

how often should you shampoo starter locs?
I generally wouldn’t shampoo before 2 weeks just to let your locs settle; don’t go any longer than 3-4 weeks... but it depends on if you have bad dandruff. If so, you may need to shampoo at 1 week out. *Its important to wear a hairnet when you wash your locs* and be gentle when you wash them.

Question, so it's ok not to retwist often?
