Zico is such a gifted rapper, vocalist, dancer, and composer/producers in all of Korean music tbh. He such a versatile rapper/producer and has composed songs for other artists be it K-pop or k-hip hop/r&b, and even OSTs. He’s one of the top producers and won best producer at the Asian Artists Award in 2019. Won multiple SOTY in 2020 with his song “Any Song” which also made him kind of start the whole viral TikTok dance challenges trend as well. He uploaded multiple “Any Song” dance challenges alongside fellow artists. He’s solo stuff is really good and he shows different sides of himself with every song. But he’s also known for being the leader of the K-pop group BLOCK B..who is inactive at the moment due to military hiatus. But they are also such a versatile and talented group. Zico is considered early 3rd generation in K-pop his group debuted in 2011, so he’s been around for a long time already and is well known.

@@jen5138yes , i phrase it wrong saying not allowed but reasoning im saying that because the song written for blackpink doesn’t have much high pitch or high notes like this so it is like imposing their own sound hence somewhat control how jennie sounds because yg has its own formula and has been that way for decades that haven’t change. It is not ridiculous , the contract she signs with yg also controls how they want her vocals to sound like! They also control almost all of the song blackpink have. When do you ever hear jennie have a full high pitch vocal like this lol. Really really rare! This is more jennie having her own agency and doing the tone and pitch she wants
