The British embassy is moving quite irrational with black people at this point, if this wasn't brought to the forefront of the media they would have swept it under the carpet, blatant disregard for humanity
Thank you 🙏, exactly!
No I'm 8
As soon as British media got the story the embassy has a change of tune
Discrimination! Discrimination! Discrimination! 🤦🏾
Sis the UK will never recognise black people, look what they have done to the windrush immigrants who were living there, I feel your pain and I hope things work out in your favour.
This must be a misunderstanding. How can a mother leave her baby in a different country. Do better please British government. This is a baby.
They don't care this is a black family there are 2 sets of rules if this was a white family it wouldn't have happened They would have shown more compassion
Nasty set of people. Baby can work and study in Jamaica.. wickedness! No change of mentality of those people since slavery. Tired of hearing dem lies! Look at what they do. That tells you who they really are.
Ase!
Thank u..I hope she sees how they adopted country treat us with scan tegards..smh
Talk truth
God is going to come through for u Mrs Ellis.....God honours Family....blessings.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Praying for you and your family. God is in control.
My prayers with you and your family 💜
Britain too extra with their immigration protocol.
It's the plan of the enemy, the enemy doesn't love family togetherness
so true
I’m so pissed …. I reach Canada on March 3
And my son was born on the 11 pandemic broke the same week… I cried thanking God he wasn’t born in Jamaica cause I know things like this would have possible reach me… knowing all his other siblings were Canadians
This is not right, I strongly support Mrs. Ellis Argument. Family should be together, why would you want to separate a family. Do these people thrive from Single Parent Household?
Yes the system is different when it comes to black & brown people hun .. sad but true . It’s called institutional racism ..
God bless you and your family.
praying for you and family, God is able all things are possible with him 🙏
Man think so highly of them selves and that all power belongs to them.
God soon shows them that all power belongs to Him and Him alone.
@@soniacard9077 Amen 🙏
Untill we understand that these people is not for us.things will remain like days and years gone by
May the good Lord help you and your baby to go back home.
I am praying that God will solve your problem soon. dont stop doing things to help your family.blessings girl.
So sorry to hear....of your troubles...
Girl i feel your pain and im praying for your family
I went through something similar and I had to leave my child behind and haven't seen my child for years
Family First!! Nonsence
God will see you through
This is why I love America and I say F the UK.
U leave ur child behind🤨 so have u made any efforts to reunite with ur child?
I tried everything I possible could but all theorganizations was such a joke
hopefully all goes well
I absolutely 💯 agree especially because of the fact that before our country jamaica 🇯🇲 use to be colony of British before we got independence. You are denying innocent life
You are coming back here you are a British citizen and you never call down sick on yourself leave it in the hands of god you will direct your path

Dishonesty is the Downfall of many JAMAICANS.
Here you Re lying to interject YOUR point.

Girl yuh joking. 20 years and you didnt sort out your citizenship. People pls learn what to prioritise in life. Cant take anything for granted. Leave the baby and come sort yourself out and file for him.
She's a British Citizen, she just wasn't born there.
@@teejay6631 she’s not a citizen
Right now the Uk government is playing hero to the Ukrainian people every one else including people born in the uk seem to be last on the list right now. Unless are British doing this and have sufficient funds then it won't be easy
Ah true dat! Double standards ah gwaan.
Sorry for what your whole family is going through....I also Pray miraculous healing for your brother-in-law that he live & not die to testify of God's exceeding love, mercy, grace & goodness.
You should appeal to the Crown...Prince William & Catherine need to be notified of these things, they were recently in JA and seem eager to make ammends with our people for the wrongs/atrocities done over the years. I Pray the most high God intervene speedily. 🙏🙏😊
Mother if you have indefinite, you need to do your life in the UK test and apply for a British passport, then it would be easier.20 years you know how home office are very strict.
I said the same thing. 20 yrs and not a citizen. Why. All this would have been null and void. That was the 1st thing my dad did when we entered the US. Yep.
@@winniejack2492 exactly
May Jehovah our God bless your efforts and help you and your family a safe trip home.
She is talking about family split and saying they are separating the dad from her son. but at the same time, the husband never lived in UK with her and the other child. Something is amiss.
That’s how immigration is here. She may be a British citizen but if she was born in Jamaica and husband born in Jamaica the child will be refused.
You have to be married to file for your spouse
They went to Jamaica and got married. Her son was born in Jamaica he wouldn’t be granted automatic stay or visa to U.K. because neither parent is British citizen. That’s just the law. There’s no discrimination in this case. She has to go through the process to get visa for her son to go live with her and her husband in the U.K. What’s the attraction of Jamaica living abroad in U.K. Verses African country?
@@Right_back_at_ya She is not a British citizen, mother is not telling the truth.
@@sophiabrooks8159 as I said before if both parents are born Jamaican it don’t automatically make the child british if born in UK. I also said the mother is BORN JAMAICAN
I’m surprise any solicitor that Specialised in immigration was unable to help her.
This is a test Mrs .Put your trust in God and he will fix it for u go through it.
The earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof the world and they within Whose report will you believe ,lady you and your family going home .UK lift up your head
This what suppression looks like my dear.
Do you mean oppression?
This is a cut and dry issue. British citizens all over the world. We Jamaicans have been taking our young family to slavery England UK since the 1960s.. Sue the bastards and shame them all.
Britian is disrupting Black British-Caribbean families and then have the damn nerve to say that in Black families have absent fathers. You have a right to choose who you want to marry and where you have your children. This is the hardcore reality that highlights the extent of racism in Britian. They don't want an all Black Caribbean family with fathers present in the home!
Such a disgrace!
This situation seems remarkably unfortunate but seems also to me sufficient investigation past "Simple" was not done.
Far too often people seems to take important things for granted only to be badly surprised and have their lives & other innocent lives turned upside- down which are all very costly and time consuming one way or another.
A very unfortunate situation but a great learning tool for the general public.
Congrats and good luck along the way .
**"KNOW BEFORE YOU GO"
O please! Did you not hear her explaining what happened? That's considered extenuating circumstance! Stop defending racism! Given the circumstances they could have granted the visa (to keep the family together) even if they are not giving the baby permanent status!
God will see you true
Tears 😭 😭
So sad about everything but one if it was me I would put on some pampers an try get back home but God will answer your prayers
Very wicked.
I would leave the dad with the baby and go back to try sort out something.
Let her go to England wth her family.. I would never leave my family in Jamaica
Flip it, if she was a whit bristish woman, would they done same thing. Modern day slavery.
If you don’t have the right papers, getting back to the uk is going to be difficult. Regardless of your race.
@@amandajames886 that's lie, I worked in the tourist industry and seen where people white people get away white shit like this, honestly it would be a different scenario, yes difficult but not so much if white.
@@TheEquilibriumEffects Then why would anyone want to leave their country of origin for another knowing how shabbily they will treat you? Stay home where you’re both born yes?
It is so unfair..🙏🙏🙏🙏
If the dad is not a british citizen im sorry to say ur son even if born in the uk would not automatically get british citizen status i kno this because my twin nieces are goin through the same thing ...
Also if you the mother came back here and left ur bby with the dad you would just apply for your sons visa and he would be granted the visa just like that and then you go down the relevant applications to apply for his indefinite leave to remaine in the UK thats what my mom did with my siblings ...hope this helps you goin forward
As long as one the child’s parent has indefinite leave to remain in the Uk, a child would then be granted British citizenship through that parent . That’s what happened in the case of daughter.
Im stating what my sister is goin through right now because she only has indefinit leave to remain in the uk and the dad is not a uk citizen they have not been given a passport automatically they are 15 yrs old now born here , thats all im saying so if someone eles got that passport in the same situation then i too would welcome advise on how they got it !.thanks in advance ...
@@kamb8432 it would have to be the mother, do think it would work with the father..
@Clair Morgan, u are correct, I have a friend going thru this same thing.
@@robertebanks5910 if the mom is a british citizen on the birth of a child born outside the uk then they can apply to register the child as a british citizen because he is under age but he does not become one automatically , u hv to still go down the application route my sis was told its £900.00 each ( im not sure if this fee is through a solicitor or if its the immigration fee )for her to do it after she does it for her own self has i stated above she also only has indefinite leave to remain ...
This is very poor.
This is the world we live in. How can you expect a mother to leave her less 5 month old child in another country??? Black people all over need to stop giving so much if their lives to these countries. She lives there, so this is a tricky case.
This is theee most ridiculous answer to a story i have heard. She literally went to visit had a baby and cant get home? A woman at that? To leave her baby?
If the child was born in the UK, you won't be having that conversation, so why you decide to have the child in Jamaica then? Now you expect rules to be changed to suit you? Now that you have been granted some kind of stay for the baby in the UK, you need to follow through with proper paperwork to get stay, otherwise he will be over staying his time and then considered to be an illegal immigrant.
Nonsense did u listen to the lady story. You are just assuming things the lady got catch up in Jamaica because of the pandemic. Ppl like u shd stay in ur corner where u belong.
@@gaolino123 You need to stay in your corner, if you have one at all. You people always have stories and lies to try beating the system. Every time.
Come on lady you in the UK for 20yrs amd don't have a British passport that's wortless if u don't have a British passport ur only a resident not a citizen you should know that if u have a British passport your child will be a British citizen if u have an indefinite leave to remain in the UK and ur kid was born there then yes the child will be a British citizen but if the child is born out the UK that's a different story stop making it about race all the time when it's not 20 years and don't have a uk passport that's ur problem I lived in the UK for 15 years and got my passport in 4 years u left the UK and live in the states now and still have a British passport and am Jamaican stop stop talking about black child and black father it's nothing to do with that.
So it sounds like she don't have british passport
Africa is calling her children home!
Omg terrifying 😭😓
I have been learning the callousness of the heart of the British since watching the journey of the marriage of Harry and Meghan, this is another chapter, however, hope that they will see that they are not looking good in the eyes of the world and repent.
Listening to this lady as far as me concerned. Jamaican MPs have no use
Really? They can't do nothing about it,the mother is not a British citizen
Wow sad 😭😭
I wish you all the best good luck..
Am very disappointed with UK...a babby..??
My sister, I am praying for you. I also pray that a case worker in the home office will see the video and help you. You appears to be a very genuine person who wants the best for your children
The UK does not know about this inhumane and barbaric action. It appears that the case worker that have your interest is not a native from the UK. You will get through. A phone call should come to you soon
I lived the in UK over 23 years and I know the UK citizen don't know what this border force agent is doing to you. The Jamaican gleaner must send this video with a message to over ride this person. Hope this person be remove from looking after other persons interest. I believe you will get through given the fact that Jamaica gleaner intervene.
Them 😢💔😢💔😢British colonial system are still in existence, separating children from their biological parents, that's not a good look at all, the child 🙄😳needs to be with both parents, not separating this young child from both parents 😉.
The UK groverment need to do better even when the Kids born UK the UK they are saying that there not british what can goes like that pm of UK you need to do better I know children with british birthceritificate and still not british what is that where you born is where you belongs to one thing with the USA they coming for they children but UK give 0 and that is so bad mrs Queen please do better for the children that born in the UK and in Jamaica cannot get any work please do better
3500 US dollars to apply for a UK visa?
WHAT YOU MEAN RECONSIDERING??? Bloody cheek! Lively hoods should not be a yes or no decision.
I don't understand why you weren't allowed to get a passport for the baby... because if you had settlement when he/she was born he/she should able to untainted a passport.. if neither of the parents had settlement at the time of birth you would have to naturalised him/her...
Clearly the mother is telling some lies, are didn't go about it the right way,if she have indefinite leave to remain, all she need to do is apply for the child British passport. There are holes in the mother story, maybe she only have 2 1/2 years visa, resident permit, that have to be renew, every couple years
@@sophiabrooks8159 you make me laugh but you Jamaican lot need to stop doing this. There are no holes in her story as you put it. She has indefinite leave , the baby was born abroad so is not automatically a UK citizen. Hence why she had to apply for a visa for him
A so British Embassy stay man
The little boy was suppose to live n study in Jamaica by his self..smh
I truly sympathize with her cause, however the question arises again, as to why she lived for 20 years in the UK, and does not have UK citizenship. Is it that she did not apply for one?. hope other Jamaicans will learn from this case.
