EXCUSE ME, Why NOT "unproductive->unproductively" rather than "productively->unproductively"? Also we have "unhappy->unhappily" and "unreasonable->unreasonably". So what IS THE RULE?

Tell me is unproduct is any word... of course not. Productive. We can add prefixes at the end with a complete word.

An act of goodness.
This is NP.
And act is noun.

This sentence isn't ambiguous as stethoscope isn't any tool we could see some one. It is the part of PP and it is adjective in its function modifying doctor .

I wanted to ask why can't we break 'independently' with 'independent' and '-ly' instead of the way you did above?

It is recommended first add suffix than prefix.. normally. If you want to add prefix first as independent it's ok as it is word formation and the rule is this with free morphemes we have to add bound morpheme and form a word.

Use is either noun or verb.

Very helpful.indeed, but one question about the analysis.of the word unsystematically please. Why attach the prefix un- to systematic and then attach the suffix -al to unsystematic. Why not attach -al to systemtic first and then attach -un to systematical to yield unsystematical. Couldn't figure out the answer myself. Thanks a lot

actually 'systematic' is on word and we and construct another word unsystematic....then we can construct another word unsystematical and so on. you can add un- prefix at the end as well. e.g first form word systematically then you can add un- at the end . its your choice.
and other view is this we can add un- with system as unsystem isnt any word. so when one word is created as systematic we can add prefix.
