My issue is is that I tend to lean over my brace. Any ideas on how to fix that?

I NEED to practice this non-stop. I cannot get my body to rotate. I’m so dang fat I think it’s harder to rotate this much weight 🤦🏻‍♂️

It was decent. Part you forget to mention, and I think it's because you've played sports so things are intuitive to you and are not intuitive to people who started playing disc golf later in life and/or sports in general is this:
How do you come to a stop on the lead foot? It is not helpful to keep demonstrating it and saying "stop" when you get to your lead leg. There are me many ways this can be misinterpreted.
The brace is a very real push into the ground. You are not simply landing on your toes, then putting the ball down, then the heel.
As soon as the front foot touches the ground you need to start using plantar flexion (the same move your foot makes to push a gas pedal down) , and extend the ankle.
A lot of people, myself included, who did not play sports at a young age, will often press into the ground far too long, thinking you have to do it the whole throw. The truth is the push from either foot/leg is a quick press, like Mario jumping: you press the button and then release it and he jumps. You don't hold the button down the whole time he's jumping.
You give all the typical examples like football, soccer, and baseball. Great if you have experience in these sports. Awful advice to someone who was never proficient in any of those motions.
A much better example, because it's more relatable is walking. You can learn an enormous amount about proper timing by paying attention to how you walk.
Every time you stick a leg forward and it stops you, then you press into the ground, which pushes your hip back and moves the opposite leg forward. This is bracing. Pay attention to how long each foot pushes into the ground, for how long, pay attention to the way it FEELS.

Ohhhhhh, not a prolonged push but a “tap” just to stop and then let up and let it rotate. I’ll try to remember this

@@ToddsDiscGolf I've come to a deeper understanding of bracing over time. This guy, Todd graves,a ball golf teacher, explains it more elegantly than I can. And you must remember, ball golf has a very similar motion. They are basically playing from what we consider a hyzer. The transition into the front leg and the way we brace in disc golf is the same. So try to absorb what he says.

I've injured and rolled my ankle so much in my life I walk with my foot pointing outward. Don't feel comfortable with a perpendicular plant and I rotate with the front of my foot- I know this is hindering my distance.

I've been playing disc golf for about 5 years now and my forms pretty decent I would say but something I never thought about was is my plant leg knee is bent. Like alot... and I never see anyone talk about that and have been wondering if it matters? All the slo mo vids and coverage i watch almost everyone's plant leg knee is hardly bent when throwing off the tee.

I'll have to incorporate this tip into my practice next week. The stop rotating one helped me gain some distance thanks so much for these vids and weekly emails. Also changing out my bag for putters only during practice to help, now I just gotta learn to carve them 300 plus feet but Hey challenge accepted.

You can do it my friend! Putters are the lifeline of disc golf. They tell all truth.

Man I wish I'd seen this months ago. I've managed to sprain my knee by planting on my heel and having cleats for bad weather.

Is it just me or is the intro on a whole other level of cringe? Also, why are you in a garage doing this? And what level of competitive baseball did you play if doing a slow-motion linedance for 10 seconds is a bit of a workout?
