Clear shower glass- PIA to keep clean. Very tiny areas on the either side of the bed- completely impractical. Almost all storage and service items under the slides. I couldn't deal with that. Frankly you have to be young and agile or travel with someone who is. Many coaches are like this now. We're lucky we have an older Winnebago with the storage bays integrated with the slides.- Best idea ever.
As a Entegra owner, I really don't like the carpet and no egress door in the rear. Btw the house batteries are in the center of the basement right in front of the drive axle behind a panel. Great video.
You're seeing what I call the "Thor" effect with the cutting of corners. I noticed some changes within the first year after Thor acquired Jayco, who had bought Entegra a few years earlier. I was a big fan of Entegra until I saw the "cheapening" of the units. BTW, I have been watching Newmar since Winnebago bought them but haven't seen any cheapening....yet.
Great review, MJ and Izzy, thank you! The Anthem is a very dressy looking coach inside and out. That paint scheme is beautiful and the interior is very clean looking. There are still a few things about the 4369 DS that we prefer, such as the bigger rear bath and the egress door in the rear. I noticed that the tag axle on the Anthem is not of the passive steer type, so assume the turning radius would not be quite as tight. But it is a close match and pretty comparable price wise.
I was that blue compass in Altoona, Iowa Tuesday. The salesman and I were discussing some of the quality issues of different manufactures and he told me that a customer ordered an Entegra diesel pusher. I don’t know what model it was but the salesman said that when the coach came in it was in such a rough shape the buyer walked away from it and lost his $40,000 deposit !
Wow, certainly cutting a few corners. I would rather have a large living area vs a large bathroom. Not sure I'd need a wine fridge/work area. For that price I'd go Dutch Star or Renegade.
Nice review. Would not buy an Entegra... but if I was given one... I would trade it on a Newmar. $500K is way too much for what is flash on poor build quality. Real world it's a $350K rig that requires a really good extended warranty.
Actually that's sad to have cheaper equipment for such a higher price point. I agree with that cap on the corner of the slide. Looks like that is a major area for water intrusion. It is beautiful but you must think about upkeep. . Will watch the interior after work! Have a great day!
The fireplace/tv and wine cooler is awesome. I can't stand the opposing couch that most manufactures use. I also like that they didn't put the TV on a televator and kept the small tv above the cockpit. What I don't understand is why they would have carpet in a unit that is priced over 700,000. That is a game changer for me.
Definitely, some corners cut... Beautiful coach overall, but the Aqua hot system is a non-starter for me. I love my Oasis system in my Newmar. I would have to go with a Newmar Dutch Star at that price point. Always buy to sell, while Newmar costs more it holds its value better. Great in-depth review, as always!
@kenmeinke2753 funny you would mention asking a tech. I had a 450D, and it was terrible. I watched three different owners in different RV parks this year alone have nothing but problems, and having spoken with the techs working on them, I will pass on the system. I am sure they have a lot of satisfied customers. Agree to disagree!
Very nice coach, I can't say with Entrega/Jayco how they mount their windshields, but with the REV Group, ie Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, and American Coach, Fleetwood and Holiday Rambler has a fully bounded windshield but they still use a rubber molding to cover up the gap/margen from the cap to the glass but its fully bounded to the aluminum and steel cap frame. Nice review guys.
Thank you Izzy and MJ! This is a nice coach but they could have done a little better in a few areas. I live the paint design. It’s beautiful on the inside. Love the closet with cedar. Living Space is beautiful. Love Entegras but with this one like this I’m liking the New Mar Dutch Star. Great review. Great video! Thank you Izzy and MJ!
You guys wouldn’t even have noticed the drawer construction if MJ didn’t point that out. If that’s a deal killer on your priorities you must have a Prevost or better!!
Very nice review. For me, I would prefer the Tiffin Bus or Newer Dutchstar. I have heard that Entegras ride very nice, but have never had he opportunity to drive one
Great review! I like the way you guys approach these reviews as end users not RV salespeople (sorry Matt 😱🤣🤣🤷♂️). Given it’s a Thor subsidiary I’d love to see Blue Ox On The Run inspect this!
It's a beautiful Floorplan, you both gave a great review😉 I personally prefer a table with chairs and Pierre would want a 1/2 bath! MJ😂you would definitely hit your head🤣🤣🤣🤣I'm so short I wouldn't be able to reach in the back of that deep storage area😂
Sadly it looks like Entegra is getting the Thor treatment; I see the same kind of things happening with Tiffin. Newmar seems to be doing OK so far under Winnebago ownership - time will tell. Thanks for doing this review and pointing out those concerns. Do have to agree though it is a beautiful coach.
I can never understand people wanting the huge bathrooms. All I need is room enough to poop, shower and shave. I don't plan on entertaining guests in. the bathroom. My wife and I raised 4 daughters in a house with 1 bathroom that 5 ft 6in wide and 6 ft 6 in deep and we felt we had plenty of room
This just shows how manufacturers are cutting corners. Here we have a coach that the manufacturer says is 3/4 of a $1,000,000 and they cut corners. No self closing drawers and doors and no dove tail joints in the drawers. If they leave out these higher scale items where you can see it, just imagine how they are going cheap where you can't see it.
Very nice but way too much money as mentioned by y’all no dovetail and such for the price point. I seen right above the microwave is a handle did that section open as well cause if it doesn’t isn’t that a strange thing to have a handle there
For those money it’s a totally shame! The Rv gave the old tag axle system, and worse, an heavy motorhome like this, 44 feet, with the 450hp engine??? Shame on Entegra!! As we know, the Rv industry skyrocketed their msrp and poring the quality down to the toilet!!!! 😡😡😡
My understanding is that the Anthem is more expensive than a Dutch Star. No thanks. Not all that impressed in general. I guess I’m still rock solid with Newmar.😊
The new Entegra dash is ugly. Very small windows in the living space. The 20k front axle is the only win. We looked at an Anthem, Thought the Allegro Bus and Dutch Star were better. This was a distant 3rd. We ended up with the AB
While it is beautiful, it seems a little shotty in its construction. If I am going to pay 750,000 dollars on a coach, I expect it to be very well made. Dovetails throughout and if they are making a cabinet to where you will bump your head then they should put a nice soft leather protection on it. Also, that much money and no oven? Yeah. I would never buy that coach.

Mj, don't worry about hitting your head, I'm 6' and we've owned ours since 2014 and I've never hit, ours is a Entegra Espire DEQ, yes for 2.😊
Lol thanks
I’m glad I bought my 43 ft diesel in March 2020 PreCovid

Overall quality is the BIGGEST Question we want answered
Unfortunately to be fair that would take many hours to look over a unit, drive and inspect. Not feasible for a 15 min video.
As a Entegra owner, I really don't like the carpet and no egress door in the rear. Btw the house batteries are in the center of the basement right in front of the drive axle behind a panel. Great video.
Thanks for the info!
why are the basement doors way under the slides instead of out on the slides like Beaver coaches had. Is it a weight issue?
The reason for only two steps is when you air it down it is the perfect height. But it does have some dovetail drawers
Very nice, I like the white and stained cabinet combination.
Glad you like it!

Definitely cutting corners but raising prices

Between the 2 we would take a DS every time

Agree. Lots of places they could have done better!!
The tag axle isn’t steerable. Must have been a savings?

Aquahot is far more reliable than Oasis. Ask any tech who has worked on both systems as to reliability and ease of service
Thank you!
I can give you an abundance of reasons why the Aquahot is a more preferred system.
@kenmeinke2753 funny you would mention asking a tech. I had a 450D, and it was terrible. We agree!

You can get better drawer construction at this price point with several other manufacturers
Very nice review. For me, I would prefer the Tiffin Bus or Newer Dutchstar. I have heard that Entegras ride very nice, but have never had he opportunity to drive one
👍

Great video. At this price point your better off with a Dutch Star.
Thanks for watching!

Way WAY to big for me but I did like it . Also for $700,000 plus what type of window blinds/treatment does it have ?? Outstanding video as always!!
I do love the dash and front seats, but I’ll stick with my Dutch Star!
👍
H
A lot of the luxury motor homes went with the emergency door Integra coach still doesn't have Wonder why

I would rather have had the 3rd, sensor step instead of the auto door for the engine.
Very nice but way too much money as mentioned by y’all no dovetail and such for the price point. I seen right above the microwave is a handle did that section open as well cause if it doesn’t isn’t that a strange thing to have a handle there
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Justine.
Eh, Dutchstar still better! LOL. At that price you would expect dovetail on all the drawers. In my opinion.
Yes, 100%.
Indeed I would, yet no dovetail in the Dutch Star either. 😞

Entrega is still the only luxury brand that still puts carpet in the slides, doesn’t make sense
