Hey Michelle, sorry for the late reply! Yes, the instructions do tell you to put it in the top basin but we've all discovered the 'secret' to getting a better aroma from your humidifier and it's putting oils in the lower basin. Hope you've had a chance to try it out!
Thanks for the video! Sounds super quite, but can u tell me some more about how quite it is? I have a Doterra petal diffuser and it's too loud for me to have on during the night
Do the diffusers make stronger scent even with this tip? I have the dawn and am thinking of getting the pilot for travel but also stronger scent. Is there a difference for doterra diffusers and how strong the scent is? Ps I recommend cleaning with alcohol after soap for essential oil residue
That is the floater. When too is full the weight pits the floater up and it lifts slowly while water getting lower. All the way up when empty, so it can mold or be slim
Yikes! Yes, I just created a video on how to clean it and remove the floater. That little floater is tough to remove at first but after the first couple times it loosens up. Definitely don't want black mold going into the air. ;)
It’s island mint! There’s actually a deal going on right now where you can get both island mint and sunny citrus which are limited edition oils and it comes with a dawn aroma humidifier
Hi Ivette! Sorry for the late reply. I actually taught a class on Facebook about Pets and Essential Oils (facebook.com/groups/404131874076474) come and check it out. I have a Boston Terrier and diffuse pet friendly oils in my humidifier without any trouble. There are some oils that they don't enjoy so I always recommend that you watch them for the first 20 minutes, make sure they are ok with it. ALWAYS diffuse in an open area (not in an enclosed space with doors closed) so that if your pet doesn't like a specific aroma, they can leave the room. They are more sensitive than we are (but they also roll in skunk... so we don't need to be TO worried. haha). When diffusing doTERRA oils, you're diffusing PURE plant and there are a lot of brands out there that have synthetics and fake fragrance that are toxic. So the key is to use the 'real deal' and keep an eye on them and use caution when diffusing Tea Tree, Cassia, Cinnamon, Oregano & Thyme. There are so many other beautiful oils to diffuse... I'd just avoid these if you want your dog to love you. ;) In my class... I go over what oils are great for dogs/cats etc. I hope you enjoy! Feel free to friend me on FB. I can point you in the right direction. Find me at Ashley Woodbine. You'll see my red hair!
I just received one for Christmas from my daughter. Thank You for showing how to work the Humidifier.
Love it !!
Thank you so much for this thorough review. I just ordered one. Can't wait to use it!
The best and needs to be taking apart to clean the pieces so it always work properly.
Thank you so much! You explained it in a great way for me to understand!
You're so welcome! :)
I thought the manual said to put oils in the top basket... I’m confused by that since I’m trying to learn more about this diffuser.

I love my humifier. I too bought 2. One for my bedroom and one for my living room.
Yes, they are SO wonderful! We wanted to be sure we had them in each room,
too... that way we're not moving 1 around all the time. ;)
Hello, Mine will not turn on, any tricks on getting it to work? Thank you!

I cleaned mine yesterday and now it won't turn on.. any ideas on how to reset it?

Ps mine isn't lasting that long on low, maybe 10 hours
I clean mine every few days, and didn't realize to pull up the long plastic part inside, it was filled with black mold!! It was bad.

How do you wash it?

How much water do you put in the bottom? Thank you
Is it only a humidifier or also a dehumidifier??
Humidifier only 😉👍
Thank you! Thank you! So helpful!
What was the essential oil you mentioned at marker 5:44? Thanks for the nice video.

always distilled or reverse susmosis level 4 or higher. Or pureau or GTG water companies
Do you put the oils in the membrane on it ?
Please the oils in the bottom basin... just on the grey plastic. ;)

@@ivetten8502 Hi Ivette, I did... Just check my channel.. you'll see it there. :)
Thank you so much 😊
You're so welcome! :)
I purchased it and it stopped working in two days.
Hi Michaela, I hope you reached out to doTERRA. Their customer service is absolutely incredible. I'm sure they will make it right. ;)
How many drops do you recommend to put in it? I was putting 10 drops on the eucalyptus but it makes it smell like pee 🤭
Hi Ivette :) I put 10 - 15 drops in the bottom reservoir...
Are you using doTERRA's Eucalyptus?
Yes I only use doterra oils. Its just that it smells funky
I am not a customer of doterra
