C', est juste, beau..
I love this song. The lyrics have so many meanings, but I guess it’s up for individual interpretation. For instance the lyrics to me symbolize someone in love, but wanted to be out of that connection as they feel suffocated. They want to be free to feel alive.
But then the video to me feels like something different. That it’s this guy who has a crush on this girl that seems beautiful and out of his league. He has fantasies about being with her in love. Then by the end it turns out she has feelings for him too and they both drop little clues for each other as they’re discovering they equally like each other. It’s the beginnings of a mutual love relationship that starts out as a crush from afar. That’s what I got anyway.
