Absolutely! The #75 is for what I call 'new style' and the #77 is for 'old style' machines. New style machines are, of course, newer but these can go back to machines 20+ years ago and are typically 3 digit machines like my old 180. The #77 typically fits 4 digit machines like the 1090 but they also fit very old machines like the original 810. Thanks for asking as I decided to go back & update the descriptions on my website for these items. You can buy the 2 piece or the 1 piece for your machine. They look different and both work. The reason to choose a 1 piece over the 2 piece is if you want to add a walking foot, ruffler or gathering foot or if you have an old Singer Featherweight. You can take the 2 piece apart to use for other things. winner-designs.myshopify.com/search?q=bernina Still have questions? Call me & I'll be glad to help! 850-449-0259
I have a BERNINA 730 Record manufactured in 1966 OLD STYLE. I would like to use the feet that came with my modern Janome, whether snap-ons or the ones that have a piece of metal (ruffler, walking foot etc...) What adaptador s do I need to buy and where do I buy them? Thanks
Sadly, this is not possible as far as I know. I don't know of any adapter that will let you place the new wider feet like those offered on higher end machines from Janome & many other brands on a Bernina. The adapters shown only allow 'Universal' feet to fit on Bernina machines.
@@Lindavideos Thanks for your feedback. Actually I just want to use the normal presser feet, also known as universal, not the wider ones for sophisticated machines.
Thx go to Zeke Hazewinkel, an amazing videographer! He knows his stuff ... He's a wiz w/ Adobe Premiere & is a 'no pressure' guy, too, which is exactly what I need!
MarjieArtQuilter Sorry; I just now saw your question! The information is on my website at www.WinnerDesigns.com/Extras and the Martelli website. If you need more info, send me an e-mail.
Thank you so much for explain the difference between old and new Bernina shanks.
Brilliant video work!
Do you know if there is a difference between Bernina shank #75 and shank #77?

@@cristinatorres7318 Oh, then no problem! You can use either of the 2 styles that I show to attach your Universal Janome feet to your Bernina.
