Thank you so much for this! I have not purchased a kit because I didn’t think it would work on my machine. Now I know how it works and I will go for it! Thanks again.
Thanks so much for your videos. They are so helpful. I’m new to sewing and I was given a Bernina 810 but am too scared to use it (I broke the stitch length lever first thing 😨 and hubby managed to put it back in ). I wish I lived in NZ and I would ask you to service the Bernina. Currently I’m using a Janome. I had to switch to the Bernina for multiple layers (face masks) because the beginner level Janome couldn’t handle it. The Bernina needs a service before I will be comfortable in using it. I treasure it very much, and I want to look after it well. My Bernina only came with the standard foot, your video is great 👍🏻 . When I looked up the prices of the genuine presser feet, I was shocked.
I inherited a 730 Record and was horribly shocked at the prices of any Bernina parts. I had already bought a box of additional feet with adapters for R300 for an old Pfaff 360. The only thing missing was the Bernina long shank adapter which I bought on Amazon at a very reasonable price. They work an absolute treat but one or two needles do hit the feet. Also most of these boxes of feet can be used on Elnas as well as Husqvarnas.
Hi I purchased a used Bernina 1008 and it already came with an adapter for clip on feet. I bought some generic feet but around half of them has the needle hitting the foot rather than the needle hole. Is that too be expected ? How can I buy generic brands but still know they will fit properly?
Merci 🙏 infiniment pour cette vidéo 👍, grâce à vous je vais pouvoir utiliser mes différents pieds de biche sur ma Bernina Matic 🙂. Thank you very much for this video, thanks to you I will be able to use my different crowbars on my Bernina Matic.
I have a new Bernina1008, and the Presser foot shaft is not holding on to the foot ,can the presser foot shaft be damaged ,I’m thinking of the red bit of the back )
Hi, thanks for the wonderful video. Just wondering if you have any tips for loosening the screws on the “worm spindle “ to adjust the zig zag mechanism. I have a Bernina 807 and recently I changed the SPROCKET of the can stack because the old sprocket cracked ( usual problem associated with these machines) . Ever since, the zig zag mechanism is completely out of timing and it is not making the PARABOLA while the needle is out . I understand that it needs adjustment by loosening of the worm spindle but I am unable to loosen the set screws . I would appreciate if you could kindly give me few tips please. Thanks, Ram.
Found your video very informative. I have a Bernina Activa 130 and would like to know what the difference is between the old style and new style feet. Hoping you can tell me as have been unable to find answer on web.
I'm so lucky. I have an OSMG in town who lets me buy a whole heap of feet when I acquire a new old sewing machine. He let me have an assortment of Bernina feet for a donation of $20.

Thank you. I did not know how these adapters worked. 😊
This was exactly what I was looking for, thanks for posting!

Make sure you have a good quality screw driver that fits the slot in the screws properly. A long handled driver can help. Thanks.

They have a different receptor where the presser foot bar fits in so the old and newer types are not compatible. Thanks.
i have a bernina aurora 430. what would you recommend for a low cost option for the presser feet? Would this solution also work for the newer models?
I have a bernina 350 and have the adaptor. Where can I get the other piece to attach the adaptor to I purchased. Without it it is useless
Any sewing machine shop should have the correct feet. You could also have a look online.
@@InStitches after 2 hours on line I found the correct adapter ordered it and hope it works
Hello Im from VietNam. How can i buy this one?
While cleaning my machine the presser foot Lifter bar fell off my virtuoso 153 and I don’t know how to put it back on… Do you have any ideas?
The hinge screw has more than likely undone itself completely. You should be able to just screw the hinge back in with the lever attached.
In Stitches Thank you…
отличная идея, спасибо!
