I saw this live. The whole place got quiet and was blown away. Chris had just died the week previous. Her guitarist was saying how they practiced the whole day and she had never made it through the song without falling apart. She crushed it live and it is a beautiful tribute.
@@bigtomgun16 it'd take a minor miracle to actually get every single person at a show to be quiet, except perhaps those like band+orchestra at theatre type shows. This is very quiet, for what seems like an open air venue in particular
@Randy Stevensmom mmm i don't think your questions are wrong, but if anyone's curious, there was a lot going on at the time for taylor. i think it's safe to say that between the ups and downs with the band, she was very textbook burnt out during this time as well. i'll try to make this short (meaning this won't be lol), but i don't think people who only know her from the music side understand the magnitude of how much she left behind for it. she was already a successful child actor/model, but landing the grinch had people interested in her for years (and again, she was only 5 when she became a household name). she was never *not* working after that, and she was being sought out for television shows centered around her being the main character. in fact, she was the first one booked for gossip girl at 13 *because* the network scrapped a show with her as the lead. no one expected the booming success of GG, but it was pretty obvious that the show was going to eventually center her character. the show basically relaunched her already successful career: no typical child star stigma because she was basically seen as an adult, and plus because she was a minor, her scheduled allowed her to promote the show as a model. mind you, she's only 15 around this time. but ironically, because she was a minor and couldn't stay on set for long legally, she was able to form the band on her time off. she and her former co-stars can attest that she was be there at the 6am call time, stayed past the legal hours for her to work as a minor (which is fair given that her character was the only one who had a scene with everyone), then would go to the studio at night until the gossip girl call time. she and ben wrote the first single around this time, and that's when she asked to be written off.... ... and that's how her character became one of the most hated characters on the network lol. it's also important to note that gossip girl was pretty infamous for stirring up the personal lives of the cast so they would always be talked about in the paparazzi era. as her character started spiraling, there was sudden rumors of her having feuds with all the adults on set, tim gunn even called her a diva, etc etc. when it known that she was leaving for music -- nonetheless, a rock band -- let's just say it wasn't going well in the press. (there was even one about her leaving because they wouldn't play her music, but would play the other co-star's, especially the actress that was playing her rival on the show). i don't think she was able to officially leave until she was maybe 17? maybe? that's when the band finished their debut album and she announced her retirement, which (even with the negative press) was crazy because she was a fantastic actress with a notable resume. people may have hated her, but they loved watching her. however, taylor was pretty stern about the fact that she'd been working since the age of 2, and that she wanted to pursue music (aka her real passion) for a long time. of course, she's not perfect. it was apparent that she didn't like the limelight anymore, but it was needed to promote the band. people say that she began wearing the sunglasses because of the drugs, but given what we know now, she didn't want to be associated with her acting career, but unfortunately, her face played a big role. personally, i think it was significant that she dressed like cherie currie, who was also using lingerie on stage to break away from her image (and you guessed it, it caused even more hate) and the band, of course, was received no support from either side. one of the biggest reasons why they were able to get some respect from their peers was because of touring. but it was like, every time something good would happen, it was followed by something bad. they managed to get buzz for a second album because of debut album was genuinely good, but then hurricane sandy came, destroying the studio and all their equipment, and halted the album for 2 years (which is death for most new artists) so they could replace and rerecord everything. that second album ended up charting, and they were doing well enough for many big acts asking them to open for their tours. taylor (un)surprisingly even took on modeling jobs again, but they worked hard, and gained the respect of their peers. even the hate from gossip girl finally died down because of they were finally doing well. which leads to around this video: the tour with soundgarden was basically one of their biggest highlights, especially after everything. its was alleged that taylor was actually one of the last people to see him. from the stories, it seemed they were talking that night after the concert, and of course, he passed in the morning. i can't speak for her, but tbh, wouldn't anybody in that situation feel like it's their fault? then the following year, kato passed and regardless of the circumstances, he's literally the reason why the band formed. taylor was working the music producers since the grinch (which is why we now have the gem as heidi montag's debut single written by 8 y/o taylor lol. but as you can see, she was working with the producer of britney spears's toxic, and many other pop producers until kato.) kato introduced her to ben (the guitarist), the three wrote music, and that's how taylor and ben were encouraged to start a band. i think after kato, it was probably difficult because her reason for pursuing music (chris), and the person who made it happened (kato) suddenly were no longer, especially after earning their respect and being acknowledged as that was always denied to her: a musician. so yeah, i don't think your wrong for questioning the intentions or the sincerity of it. but hopefully this was a thorough enough explanation. i've personally always been a fan of hers because it's refreshing to see someone actually be a rockstar if they weren't doing what they were currently doing. she seems to be doing a lot better now, especially after being forced to take a break because of the pandemic. the videos of them recently on tour is probably the first time she appears both more confident and happier,
She was probably one of the last people to see Chris alive...pretty heavy and will probably scar her forever. this is hard to watch because you can tell she's not over it and this is not fake made up emotion and is on the verge of breaking down into tears throughout the song.

She got so emotional. Chris has touched the lives of any one of his true fans and we're all heartbroken. Not only was Taylor a true fan, but she was there the night he died. I can't imagine what that feels like.
well that guy should look into more songs from Chris Cornel then, cause while Black Hole Sun is great and his most mainstream song. He had plenty of great songs, in fact there's a way better song to use for his tribute and proper send off. Not sure how 1 song is gonna touch you deep. I listened to one song by like Vince Staples so far, not sure how deep I will be connected to him and whether or not Vince Staples will be mine too.. and no im not pretentious in anyway
Also SHE too was battling depression which made this all the more difficult. Imagine your idol offing himself just as youd been fighting the same feeling. I cried watching this.
Her voice reminds me of him...the raspiness, the power, the darkness... the emotion is all there. One of the best tributes to the greatness that is Chris Cornell. Well done.
Just amazing. The best female rock singer of the new stars. She’s just fantastic, not obly her voice, but she manages to do something that the guys from the grunge era were doing, she manages to live the songs and give that pain to the listener.
@@hard2fathom1 well that was one day after Chris Cornell killed himself. She was on tour with him at this point and he was basically one of the main influences for her music. She always said in the years before that her biggest dream is to tour with Chris Cornell.
Listening to MMR on the way home from the MMRBQ last night, apparently she was having a really hard time rehearsing that song in the bus. Hell of a performance though, I'm sure this made Chris smile somewhere at the great gig in the sky.
Travis Padilla when she did this song at Rock On the Range, she made it through without breaking down on the outside. However, when she was done she said "thank you" and immediately walked off stage. She was met by 3 or 4 people as she walked off so I'd imagined she completely lost it after the song
The amount of pain in her voice brought tears to my eyes, Chris was like the soundtrack of my youth.. There in good times and the bad. He's the only celebrity that I truly ever mourned over losing. RIP to a true legend.
PstScrpt as amazing and bittersweet that would be, i doubt it, it's only about 6 chords to the song, but damn. this is such a good tribute. i cry every time. they were such big fans
I'm not ashamed to admit that really made me cry. It takes incredible strength from within to even want to perform after learning about tragedy but Taylor really showed her inner strength and gave it all on that stage. So incredible Taylor thank you.
Her voice is trembling, I can feel her pain, is so hard for her sing. This is a amazing cover of this song. The best Band in this fucking world. RIP Chris
Man I cant stop myself crying to this. Im a grown 30 year old man, but I just couldnt stop myself from crying. Chris Cornell was such an integral part of my life through his music, I feel like a part of me just died.
I feel you bro, i received the news on May18th at 6am since one friend tagged me on facebook, and i just cried so desperately because it was unbelievable.
Saw this live and it was so hard to watch her sing this because she was one of the last people to see him.. she was trying so hard not to cry and the emotion in her voice said it all... it hurt a lot she left the stage crying, but It definitely made Chris proud
Hands down hate to call this a cover she sang this song as a fan with emotion and with one of the most powerful voice in rock today don't know how she held it together
Same. I always felt for some reason that she just hired a bunch of seasoned musicians to help her be a successful musician because she was an actress with a good management team. I went to the set because I wanted to make sure I had a good position for Volbeat later and was curious if she'd address Detroit. She won me over with this, and the rest of the set was solid too. The video doesn't show the people watching who were crying throughout the whole thing. Very touching.
PlanetVampire.com Been a fan since day one, I think it took alot of courage and strength to leave a show where she was making at least 5 figures, if not 6 an episode, so she could pursue her dream of making music, a business which is not easy to make money in, and she has been progressing since the first album, just better and better. The same strength that got her through quitting a very well paid job as an actress to be a musician, and possibly make money doing it, which she clearly was never concerned about, she just wanted to do what she loves, that strength is what has been getting her through these festival shows. They postponed their show on May 19 that I was supposed to go to, for a very understandable reason, and it will be rescheduled, she said she wanted to make it up to her fans. They pushed out their UK and Europe dates, and I hope she takes the time after these festivals to grieve and get through the pain as much as she can. I understand it's hard to pull out of a fest, the whole lineup gets pushed, the company may charge the band for canceling, who knows, but the sets are shorter, so good for her for getting through these dates. The show I was to see last Friday was just them and an opening band, so it would have been an hour and a half to 2 hour show, I could not imagine how she would have been able to get through it. Can I just point out, she is hitting those high notes while bawling her eyes out, anyone who ever questions her talent should get their ears checked..... I truly hope she has a wonderful support system behind her, she is so young, and I've lost many friends, and an ex from suicide, you just have to grieve because it's impossible to make sense of it. 💜✌🏻
This tribute from "The Pretty Reckless", of all, was what has hit me so far... First, because I do not remember hearing a female interpretation of the song Like a Stone, and lastly, because of all, this is perhaps the most heartfelt dedication, at least for me! 5 *****
I cant stop myself crying when I hear this. I never met Chris or knew him, but his music has been such an integral part of my life. I feel like a part of me just died. Hearing her, my eyes just welled up.
Tammy Douglas I agree very hard for her to do ...she was emotionally in pain while singing ..i can't imagine being on tour as a band and trying to sing without being as upset as ONE can only BE ..to me I love THE PRETTY RECKLESS and i think she did very well under the circumstances..R I P CHRIS CORNELL
Wow, I never realized what a great singer she was... This was one of the best covers I've heard of like a stone. You can hear the emotion in her voice... Rip Chris Cornell. The world will never be the same :(
She thanked Soundgarden inbetween almost every song that last night in Detroit. Said it was the last night they were opening for them and how thankful they were for the chance. This is just eerie. Thank you for posting.
TonyDracon clearly you have never lost someone Sadly every human will experience death. And I never wish upon anyone to lose someone because of suicide.I did.
Chris was my hero and still lives on in my heart god rest his soul But Taylor Momson my second favorite voice took my favorite Sony to a whole new level Respect 🤘
Most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen was at Rocklahoma in the states (I’m Aussie) and one of the headlines was Audioslave. Chris passed only days before the festival leaving many fans and admirers devastated, but she stood on stage with no music playing and just sang this ‘Like A Stone’ on vocals whilst an epic tornado was shutting down the festival and brought the whole crowd to silence and not a dry eye in the place! Can’t find footage of it anywhere (probably because everyone was so blown away by how special it was) and wasn’t a complete nub and stood and watched it through their phones!... Respect girl 👊🏼
Ill be honest, i wasnt blown away until about 4 minutes in where she clearly broke through a musical barrier and completely came into her own. Sounded phenomenal on that final chorus
Chris Cornell was and will forever be as my most favorite male vocalist and Taylor Momsen is my favorite female vocalist. I wish they got a chance to have some duet 😢
She’s the only musical artist I’ve ever felt connected to. We both lost someone we cared about so much in a the same way. You can hear her pain, and i understand it completely. I wish her only peace. I know that hole never goes away, only fades away.
I can hear the pain in Taylor's voice, to me that is a good thing, it shows she isn't just another celeb cashin in a moment of fame on a false tribute to the incomparable chris cornell. She did an excellent job on one of my favorite songs and i salute her, good job Taylor and thank you. R.I.P. Chris Cornell.
It doesn't get much more real and raw than this. There is no substitute for real emotion like she demonstrated here. That was a beautiful tribute .REST IN PEACE CHRIS CORNELL. You will be sorely missed by so many.
Heartbreaking, even now 5 years later. What a fantastic voice and performance... Beautiful and painful to watch at the same time. Fuck, I stil miss Chris Cornell & Soundgarden.
Beautifully done. You can just feel Taylor's emotion here. Thank you for sharing. Such a hard time for us all and it just shows how amazing and impactful Chris truly was 🖤
I was here for this concert (Sect. 201) and it was a very powerful & emotionally charged dedication cover. Was not a fan of them before, but after this? Sold! She was spectacular vocally throughout the entire set. Very good band!
Watching this tribute performance is honestly the first time my eyes have sincerely welled up with tears since Chris's death. I can feel Taylor's pain and applaud her for following through with doing this song. Very well done, too. Chris would be proud of you, Taylor. Good job, girl!
Wow, the best of the world cries out at the loss of an artist. Soundgarden was part of my youth, I was stunned by the news of Chris Cornell's passing. He is only 18 months older than me. I wish someone could have helped him to see the pain he was feeling was going to pass, and the world needed him.
This one and Living Colour doing Blow Up The Outside World had me balling my eyes out. Corey had a hard time at the end. Couldn't finish lyrics because he was choking up too much :'( I never knew Chris played and was friends with so many musicians. He was evidently more than just a fellow musician, he was a good person.
Wow. I wish I had know about this before. This is absolutely beautiful. A magnificent tribute to an incredibly talented singer. The pain in Taylor's voice brought back painful memories, and tears. Incredible.
I'm a grown ass man and I couldn't help but shed a couple tears watching her walk away in deep sadness at the end of a perfect performance that Chris probably helped her with in a spiritual sense.
There's more emotion in this cover than in all of modern pop. Fantastic tribute to an amazing talent. RIP Chris. We know your name and you'll never be outshined.
I've given Taylor shit in the past, but god, I feel for the poor girl. I know how much of an influence Chris had on her and her music. I can't imagine having your dream come true by touring with one of your heroes, getting the chance to get to know them personally and see them every single night, and then to have them die on the last night of their tour, and from fucking suicide, of all things. (I'm not looking down on Chris, but it makes the situation all the more tragic.) I would be fucking devastated. It's one thing to be a fan and mourn his passing, but it's another to be a fan and actually KNOW him in some small way and having him die. I don't think I've ever seen her this vulnerable before. It just fucking sucks. 😞
zombiedrea you are absolutely right in the beginning she and the band looked like some ordinary fashionable rockband, with the same old same-old. but they proved how wrong the misconceptions were. they are talented and are doing their own stuff, respecting their idols and overall they aren't a sell out band. this live tribute also showed that they are people from the good kind
@randystevensmom1942 I don't trust Vicky at all. She and Courtney or both suspect for arguably ending the two most influential Seattle based front men ever.
We've lost many music icons over the years, but I must say that the amount of love and sorrow, expressed by people around the world in reaction to Chris' death, is absolutely phenomenal. The outpouring of grief and shock from fans, the media, and especially fellow singers and musicians, is a testament not only to his talents, but to his character as well. So many fans have expressed their gratitude for his inspiration, and for his music getting them through some very dark times in their lives. The musical tributes from his peers, in respect and admiration for one of the nicest people in the business, is overwhelming. It will take awhile, but I intend to watch every single one of them. RIP Chris Cornell. You stood among giants, and towered above them.
I have severe depression,PTSD,anxiety, chronic vivid nightmares,ADD and sleep problems . I now know why I feel such a connection to his lyrics. I'm still in shock over the death of Chris Cornell . I feel so bad for his family and those who knew him best. My prayers and condolences go out to his family and friends.
'Humanitarian' and 'philanthropist' are not the first things that come to mind when the average person thinks of Chris Cornell, and it is a side of him that often goes overlooked. In remembrance of his beautiful soul, and to ease my broken heart, I will be making a donation to 'The Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation'. It is a charitable organization, begun in 2012 by Chris and his wife, that supports children facing problems such as homelessness, poverty, abuse, and neglect. This is what Chris had to say about it: “I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to make a career doing something I love. Not every kid gets those opportunities. I’m in a fortunate position to use music to support important causes that help foster change." RIP Chris Cornell. You stood among giants, and you towered above them.

shit, this must be so much more insane for them
Jonathan Bouthillette i know
Екатерина Казакова i can only imagine how surreal it must feel, a void that you have to push yourself thru
PstScrpt as amazing and bittersweet that would be, i doubt it, it's only about 6 chords to the song, but damn. this is such a good tribute. i cry every time. they were such big fans
This was actually painful to watch. I literally couldn't get through it initially. The heartbreak in Taylor's voice is very real. Haunting.
Finally a band or singer that has not butchered a Chris Cornell tribute.
This is literally the one cover of anything he sings I can listen to
Just when you think you are able to stop crying...you see this.
Seajay fuck yes.
Yup.
Seajay exactly.
Seajay Right? 💔💔💔💔
It got me too.
I'm not ashamed to admit that really made me cry. It takes incredible strength from within to even want to perform after learning about tragedy but Taylor really showed her inner strength and gave it all on that stage. So incredible Taylor thank you.
Still can’t watch this without crying. She did a phenomenal job. RIP, Chris.
God the pain in her voice, her being able to tour with her idol and losing him probably gave this song an entire new meaning to her, beautiful tribute
I was there, and - I admit it - I was fighting off tears. Terrific tribute to a great singer gone way too soon.
Chris would be proud.... RIP
Powered through it like a champ and crumbled like a cheap cookie. I can relate.
Her voice is trembling, I can feel her pain, is so hard for her sing. This is a amazing cover of this song. The best Band in this fucking world. RIP Chris
Heartfelt, beautiful job. Chris touched sooooooo many lives...of all ages. Still such a shock 🖤🖤💙💙
Julie Waters damn
Fantastic cover. Taylor Momsen is amazing here.
I cryed like a fucking baby. I dont know how she just stood there and sung.
Rip Chris! This woman doesn't get enough credit! you can hear the pain in her voice. Its amazing!!
You cant make me cry this early in the morning...
Man I cant stop myself crying to this. Im a grown 30 year old man, but I just couldnt stop myself from crying. Chris Cornell was such an integral part of my life through his music, I feel like a part of me just died.
Nothing wrong with that man, I am 45 and about to bawl...
I feel you bro, i received the news on May18th at 6am since one friend tagged me on facebook, and i just cried so desperately because it was unbelievable.
Same Here . Awh Shid , There I Go! *Starts To Bawl My Eyes Out*
I know right me too :'(
The sound of pain. Beautiful.
I was right up front that was one of the best rock performances I've ever heard in my life
The raw emotion in her voice and she still pulled it off. Truly a touching tribute. R.I.P Chris, you live on still through your music.
When she choked up at "How we'll die alone," i lost it. 😭
The Pretty Reckless! DAMNED good rendition of this song. Thank you! Proud of you for supporting Chris like this!
I'm not a big fan of pretty reckless, but I think she did great with this amazing song!
PlanetVampire.com She won me over as a fan on this one.
Damn I never heard of them before I found out they opened..Definitely can tell they were fans....damn good
that's Cindy Loo Hoo from the Grinch movie lol
Bill & Bill`s Gentlemans Club The Pretty Reckless is a damn good band.
Fluffy Bunny Her name is Taylor Momsem and she a gift from the Rock Gods!
she is a HUGE fan, this breaks my heart...
She is fan.
And Pretty Reckless was on tour with Soundgarden
This tribute from "The Pretty Reckless", of all, was what has hit me so far...
First, because I do not remember hearing a female interpretation of the song
Like a Stone, and lastly, because of all, this is perhaps the most heartfelt dedication, at least
for me! 5 *****
i couldnt sing it today, how hard it must be at that day...
Oh that was hard for her ;( she did amazing ....rip....
I cant stop myself crying when I hear this. I never met Chris or knew him, but his music has been such an integral part of my life. I feel like a part of me just died. Hearing her, my eyes just welled up.
Tammy Douglas I feel the same way. It's like I know he wasn't supposed to go this early. I've been crying too
Grimeyhoob I feel the same way. :(
did we watch the same video? that was awful
The world will never be the same :(
I cried... Amazing performance. So emotional an honest. God bless her. Sure Chris smiled quietly when she sang it... :)
She thanked Soundgarden inbetween almost every song that last night in Detroit. Said it was the last night they were opening for them and how thankful they were for the chance.
This is just eerie.
Thank you for posting.
Seeing Taylor break down like that... No words to describe this. RIP
So much emotion. My favorite cover by far. Tears man, tears 😭
yes... that and outshined from stone sour...
Seelenwinter 666 for sure! Corey did such a great job
I was at the concert this was easily the best performance of the entire show.
she left the stage crying ..,oh how sad and heartbreaking Rest In Peace Chris
I'm in tears, amazing cover! Chris lives forever!
when the guitarist pat her at the back after the show. you knew this was so legit
i'm crying you're crying.....she's so strong and awesome!! she was and still is my idol, my total metal queen, bless her soul and chris'
TonyDracon clearly you have never lost someone
Sadly every human will experience death.
And I never wish upon anyone to lose someone because of suicide.I did.
Wow! This was the most emotional tribute I've seen. What a voice!
Now that was just spectacular. She really gave the song justice, very powerful voice. RIP Chris Cornell, you'll forever be missed...
Chris was my hero and still lives on in my heart god rest his soul
But Taylor Momson my second favorite voice took my favorite Sony to a whole new level
Respect 🤘
She is the current Queen of Hard Rock R&R. God rest the King Chris Cornell.
Damn!! She gave me goosebumps and tears in my eyes!! 😢😢
RIP Chris, my man!! 😢
Great Job, Chris would be blown away. Miss You Sooo Much!!!! Much Love, Peace and Happiness where ever you are...
I have no words to express the admiration for the most amazing young woman of rock today! Brilliant and heartbreaking tribute Taylor Momsen!
She’s the only musical artist I’ve ever felt connected to. We both lost someone we cared about so much in a the same way. You can hear her pain, and i understand it completely.
I wish her only peace. I know that hole never goes away, only fades away.
RIP Chris forever
Dave & Chris Forever
I watched this live. Other bands coverered other songs by Chris that night. Every heart was broken in that stadium.
Beautifully done. You can just feel Taylor's emotion here. Thank you for sharing. Such a hard time for us all and it just shows how amazing and impactful Chris truly was 🖤
haunting and the most heartfelt tribute I've seen so far
Wow! I had never heard this until 2023. Taylor has such an incredible voice. Only made better with real emotion. Thank you.
I was here for this concert (Sect. 201) and it was a very powerful & emotionally charged dedication cover. Was not a fan of them before, but after this? Sold! She was spectacular vocally throughout the entire set. Very good band!
Never heard this band before. Damn, this was painfully beautiful. The most touching tribute i've seen for Chris.
Watching this tribute performance is honestly the first time my eyes have sincerely welled up with tears since Chris's death. I can feel Taylor's pain and applaud her for following through with doing this song. Very well done, too. Chris would be proud of you, Taylor. Good job, girl!
This needs to be rerecorded in the studio the same way it was played here. This was a great tribute to Chris Cornell.
Shes clearly heartbroken, it shows the impact one can have with songs written from personal expression. Chris will be missed but his music lives on
This one and Living Colour doing Blow Up The Outside World had me balling my eyes out. Corey had a hard time at the end. Couldn't finish lyrics because he was choking up too much :'( I never knew Chris played and was friends with so many musicians. He was evidently more than just a fellow musician, he was a good person.
What an incredible voice!!
Thanks! This represents the tormented and true art of Chris that I liked very much. The lyrics and the voice intensity... He will miss everyone.
6 years ago? Still feels fresh. How has it been 6 years? This tribute still hits hard, but I'll still watch it every year.
I've watched this a million times and I cry every time. Well Done Taylor. RIP Chris.
Wow. I wish I had know about this before. This is absolutely beautiful. A magnificent tribute to an incredibly talented singer. The pain in Taylor's voice brought back painful memories, and tears. Incredible.
0:51 the way her voice shakes, man. My heart can't take this.
This could not be any more real and raw...hauntingly beautiful..I cry everytime I watch it.. still at 3 years later.
Oh my god, that was so real, respect. Rip, Chris!
I was there...and she made me cry...ugh...I wanted to hold her in my arms, I love her❤❤❤Thanks to my new friend Marianne Auduoin
I love this!! They did a beautiful tribute. One of my favorites by Chris!
Wow!!! Great tribute.
Her voice is truly flawless, such a beautiful and heartfelt performance ❤
Rest In Peace Chris, Taylor did an amazing job ❤️
I'm a grown ass man and I couldn't help but shed a couple tears watching her walk away in deep sadness at the end of a perfect performance that Chris probably helped her with in a spiritual sense.
I can't imagine how it must feel for Taylor to sing this after just being on tour with Chris! Fantastic job Taylor! Bless you!
Beautiful, but brutal. This rips my very heart out. There is no way to not cry listening to this.
zombiedrea you are absolutely right
in the beginning she and the band looked like some ordinary fashionable rockband, with the same old same-old.
but they proved how wrong the misconceptions were. they are talented and are doing their own stuff, respecting their idols and overall they aren't a sell out band.
this live tribute also showed that they are people from the good kind
Agree :(
It wasnt the last night of the tour until chris died
@randystevensmom1942 I don't trust Vicky at all. She and Courtney or both suspect for arguably ending the two most influential Seattle based front men ever.
@@oaktowndimond668stop with misogyny. If a man dies people always blame the woman. Just stop!
Really love how she's committed to this song, there's nothing just the voice and music. Beautiful
Such an emotional performance. Wonderful tribute. The shaking in her voice from her tears made me cry.
I keep coming back to this. such a touching tribute!!!
This is what Chris had to say about it:
“I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to make a career doing something I love. Not every kid gets those opportunities. I’m in a fortunate position to use music to support important causes that help foster change."
RIP Chris Cornell. You stood among giants, and you towered above them.
