- So, you got yourself some boots but you aren’t sure how to style them, well don’t worry, I'm here to help. I love to wear boots in the autumn, and these are some of my go-to outfits to wear. It doesn't matter what type of boots you have, these outfits will work with most black pairs. Feel free to change things up to suit your style as much as you like or you can just copy me and do exactly what I do, it’s entirely up to you.

People saying black boots are not versatile are probably sneakerheads
I think they just haven't found versatile black boots. Many black boots have an awful silhouette, and the material is often suede. Boots need to be minimalistic and entirely black, otherwise, they might not serve the outfit.

I not even had a black boot, but I think black boots and black pants can look a bit too matchy matchy, while the brow because people usually dont wear dark brow pants, it will have some contrast with most other pants, it can be light or dark jeans, black pants, beige or dark or light grey pants.
I think thats what they are thinking.
People saying that probably just don't wear a lot of black. I rarely wear a black coat so...

I love wearing my black boots as part of my all black monochromatic look for autumn and winter, which includes:
- Turtleneck jumper
- Chinos or denim
- Overcoat or leather bomber jacket
- Leather chelsea boots
I've also added a gel heel padding in my Doc Martin's Chelsea boots for an extra height boost; it really brings out a sleek look for me

black boots not being versatile is such a crazy take to me, i wear them in essentially every outfit fall, winter and through most of spring, only really swapping for sneakers in summer (gets quite hot where i live). they’re my true fashion love, i can always come back to them and they’ve got my back

@@HarryHas I dont have a name because theyre knock offs from a local store but theyre chunky combat boots. Originally I was gonna get chelsey boots because theyre more "traditional" but I saw your shoe collection video and it made me reconsinder getting chunkier black boots with laces because they look quite nice and versatile with the outfits you make

I wear boots 4-5 days out of the week. Mainly my Tom Ford hiking boots. They’re so versatile from jeans to wool trousers 👌🏼 great vid

I picked up a pair of the same viron boots and been wearing them for a month now. Used to rock a pair of red wing iron rangers for like 6 years and took me long time to find a new pair that can adapt w my growing style. Loving them so much now, thanks for the recco!

I bought in to the brown boots are more versatile and bought some. Almost every time I put them on I thought, man, black boots would look so much better. That's just my personal opinion obviously but I think black is more versatile for my wardrobe. It's mostly gray, black and white
I've got 3 pairs of black boots. My favourite is a pair from Grenson which I wear with black jeans and a dark navy woollen roll neck pullover

These viron boots have grown on me. I think you finally convinced me 😅. How are they in the snow? This would be a first boot purchase and would use them mostly in winter for going out on the town.
I’d say there are probably better options if your main focus would to be to wear them in snow. I’ve worn mine in snow and they are just fine but there are warmer options out there

the reason why people say that brown boots are more versatile then black boots is because they are more casual. They also work better with jeans. Black boots might work better for black denim and khakis though.

It would've been informative to see how you would play with the bottom of your trousers to accentuate the boots. In some looks, you obscure the boots completely which seems to oblliterate the look of the boots.

I love these videos 🙂 I was wondering about the 'best' way to cuff a pair of jeans so that the details (like the text on the Virons) are more visible? I'm conscious about over-cuffing in case it looks silly. Any ideas anyone?
It really depends on the pants. Some cuff well like selvedge denim for example, and some look terrible cuffed.
Do you mean it's the fabric that you're trying to cuff, as opposed to the cut of the jeans? I've got some 13oz Nudie selvedge jeans (still no fades 😒) that are a regular fit on me, but whenever I choose my Virons to wear, I gravitate towards my black Levis 'stretchy' slim-fitting jeans. I usually spend about 10 minutes each time messing around with the leg openings to get the 'right' look, and am never sure whether I've accomplished it, or whether instead I'm just inviting people to point and laugh.
@@tenfootalice just the way the cuff sits on some pants. Some sit near and stay neat and others never cuff where they sit flat and it looks messy

I had your Virons to try at home. They look sooo good, but it's an agony to get in and out. Plus, they dont seem to fit my feet as they are crumpling when walking...had to send them back unfortunately.

They are good quality from my experience with them but I’ve only tried on stuff from them. I ended up not keeping it though as the fit wasn’t what I was looking for with the items I tried

It’s 90cm but I should have got an 80. I had to put more holes in it. I would get your true size. Type in on Google the size and it will tell you what waist it’s for

I would do some research into the best quality for the price. Solovair are a decent entry boot as they are pretty easy to style and they have a simple design. I would avoid anything from ASOS and H&M etc as it probably won’t last.

I went down a size but after walking and when your feet swell they can be a bit tight so I would probably recommend tts. They have an awesome sizing chart on their website with measurements
People who say black in general isn’t versatile must be colorblind. Then again if they are they wouldn’t even be able to tell the difference🤣🤣🤣 Probably it’s just their overall wardrobe isn’t versatile enough as they don’t have neutrals or basic pieces which one can wear with everything therefore black boots doesn’t work.
I like black boots but all the security here wear black boots either lace boots, zipper boots, comat boots and vhelsea boots....that's why i don't have black boots 😂😂😂😂

Aren't you "suffocating" the boot with most of these fits by covering them up with long/wide-cut pants?
I always think of my boots as a standout piece and don't want to tuck them away underneath my pants.

Black boots/shoes are not versatile,black only looks good with black and gray,black is too heavy for other colors,Brown boots/shoes are versatile.
