@Waldorf9651 Kosovo looked hairy. I enjoyed you both talking of how you met. Well, I enjoyed the entire video. I drove to Raleigh North Carolina to see the model Y. The model Y is HUGE!! My husband liked it but it was too big and roomy for my use case. I'm so glad your wife loves it. It's nice that everyone can get what works for their use case.
Congratulations to your wife about her new car. I have so many aunts who are just scared of change and they keep saying they’re not ready for an EV, that they might try a Hybrid next!!! LOL They I say to them, when will you buy an EV? When you’re 85?
@NAY2GAS - Thanks for watching my video. You can always show your aunts this video or maybe do a test drive. My wife was so afraid of just the thought of owning an EV, but now she does not want to go back! If you can, please subscribe to my channel! Thanks again!
Our EV journey origin story. In 2019, I wanted model3 or Mach-E. Crickets from hubby. Then I showed him an R1T video in 2022 (because he had F150s and F250s). He ordered an R1T immediately. 6 months after he got his R1T, I said okay now I want a model3 or Mach-E. I bought the Ioniq6 because it was 10k cheaper than a model3 at the time (38K) and much cheaper than the Mach-E. I wanted the 800V architecture also because Im a Chemist and understand all that stuff. The drawback is I can't fast charge at Superchargers or Rivian networks.
@Waldorf9651 Agreed. I'm looking at the Dodge Charger EV, Mach-E and R3. I want an affordable EV sports car when I retire next 4 to 5 years. I'm going to give the Ioniq6 to my baby stepson and his wife. They can drive it or sell it.
@OhioKeef- She sounds like my wife. I had my Model S for 9 years! LOL!!! Show her the video and or take her on a test ride. Thanks for watching and if you can, please subscribe to my channel!
My husband has an R1T. I've never driven it. Not because I don't want to but because he would kill me if I did anything to it. I own a 100% electric Ioniq6 and he drives it when we road trip in it. My husband says I'm a terrible driver. I think I am a good driver.
@@dianewallace6064 - Well my wife was very afraid of driving my car after 9 years of ownership! I never thought of her as a terrible driver; she is a safe driver. I'm glad that she decided to get an EV.
@@Waldorf9651Your wife may have been a little intimidated by driving your electric vehicle, but she didn’t want anything happening to it on her watch either. 😂
Aww. You have a beautiful wife. Congratulations on the new Tesla and 22 years of marriage ❤
@bossychick81 - Love the name; that's so you! Thanks for watching!
Congrats!!! ☺
@Diagts - Thanks and thanks for watching!
What a beautiful video. Thank you both for your service!!
@dianewallace6064 - Thank you; I was neverous coming out of the box, but settled down about half-way through.

@dianewallace6064 - Wow! If you save enough money and/or trade in your car, you may consider (in a couple of years) get the Rivian R2 or Rivian R3!

This gives me hope that my wife might eventually want an EV. I’ve had my model Y for 2 years and I think she has driven it twice. 😅
