Her Two Wheels, you’ve really stepped up the production and content to the next level with this video! Excellent!
The steak looked really good.
That hammock though!!!!
Hammocks are for hipsters.. Lol. But really fun 😀
I really like that Campground it's not so close together like other campgrounds so you can have some privacy
I'm a 64 year old veteran who spent my life camping in Wisconsin, mining in California. And I have to say you are doing it right no kind of criticism from me. Keep it up and enjoy your life.
Thank you for your service sir
Im a newbie, so your diplay of camping equipment helped me greatly, thank you.
Thankyou for your service and keep on living free man 🙌
I worry about her though, hope someone is near
Just this morning, I was camping alone, and as I sat to have breakfast, a family of porcupines walk up to me and start begging. As I shared, and made more breakfast, I realized that when you’re camping alone, you’re never alone. You had some nice visitors too. Thank you, and be well.
Riders are never alone. And some of us wish we were with you cooking breakfast in the woods. Never alone brothers and sisters. May seem like it. The rest of us ARE THERE. In spirit. Remember that. Always
BTW you are also an inspirational woman for man riders. Men often come to riding with baggage- we are taught that things men do are supposed to be risky, and if it isn't risky, we are shirking our manly duty. So even though motorcycling is clearly risky, a lot of us feel compelled to add risk, add drama. We act like it is a big deal and it takes extraordinary strength or skill to ride. We dismiss little bikes and go right for the big ones, even though they have serious drawbacks limiting the fun.
All this drama scares a lot of people, women and men both, away from riding. Your videos show us the truth. The truth is that if you focus on the right skills, an practice frequently and carefully, you can be reasonably safe on the road pretty soon. And it is AWESOME!
You model sanity, an easygoing, joyful attitude, careful planning, intelligent decisionmaking, and how gravel doesn't have to be a big deal. I am convinced there would be many more riders, including men, if they felt the permission to approach it the way you do.
The big mistake that a few of my younger biker friends have made is thinking that the icing on the cake is blonde trophy girlfriend with big boobs wearing a short skirt and heels that she cannot cross the road wearing.
When they meet my wife and she cooks a stir fry with a steak or lamb chops, rather than run to McDonalds they soon see the error of their ways. If they are still not convinced, an evening discussing her enjoyment of outdoor life and her love of animals soon shows them that a like minded partner is what they really need in their lives, rather than a shallow minded bimbo who cannot think beyond the colour of her nail polish.
It is a very common mistake in life and the price is often a very lonely existence, particularly when the blonde hair goes grey and the boobs start to sag.
@@wilsjane spitting facts on em
When she brought out the steak and the veggies, my first thought was " You're going to sleep WELL😴😴😴".
and I thought "I sure hope that hammock is well ventilated tonight" LOL
It ain't getting better then this. Being free, riding your bike, and doing your thing. Well done!
"more issues than your ex girlfriend" That was funny.
Depending on the girlfriend, yeah......
One of them, I used to say:
- My girlfriend is "bi"....
People would smile nervously, and ask:
- Bisexual?
And I'd answer:
- Oh, no! I wish! She's bipolar!!
That was kind of sexist..
It was funny AF at the fact a female said It
agreed!!!
another vet here. i must say i really enjoyed your video, everything from the scenery, the music heck even the editing. its so nice to get out and see where the road takes one or even a group of friends. again i want to say i REALLY enjoyed this video, so relaxing i almost felt i was the one doing the camping. thanks for sharing.
The string lights are genius. Such a mood setter
Taking my Harley to Colorado for 3 weeks of solo moto camping in the national forest was the best time of my entire life.
Where at Colorado did you go moto camping? I need some suggestions.
@@michaeltroche9989 All over really, but my campsite was in Deckers in Pike national forest. Parked my tent there and just rode all over.
That’s awesome & sad all at the same time. Keep riding bro.
You're camping in a camp ground, not in the back woods. Anyone that would criticize you for buying wood needs to get a life. This is not a bushcrafting video. lol I bought a camping hammock similar yours for my bugout bag and I have yet to use it! You've motivated me to find an excuse to just go somewhere and try it out. Life always gives you an excuse to not do certain things. Time to put my foot down. Thanks for your inspiring videos.
What's wrong with bringing a small lpg burner? That's what i'd do.
@@macbolan9374 Nothing, why?
Never buy wood Most places have plenty
My bikes been packed for 2 weeks .. but I seem to be procrastinating or the weather isn’t quite right or I need just 1 more thing from eBay 🧐
C P most campgrounds have rules against processing their timber. Not to mention they are so heavily used that they are extremely picked over of deadfall.
I rode for 4O plus years. Seen the sun come up over the badlands; rode Pikes Peak; rode across the Rio Grande when water levels were low; crossed the Rookie Mountains and rode the prairies of Canada; dipped my foot in the Pacific, the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic all within one week - all solo rides. It’s the freedom and the connection to nature. You’ve experienced it now and the bug has bit you. Enjoy it. I don’t ride anymore. My new “steed” is a 15 foot carbon canoe and I paddle the beauty of my Canadian lakes. Less chance of getting run off the road. Ride safe, enjoy the freedom!
I will never forget one-time solo camping, despite the monstrous winds at night, the coyotes after the wind, the deer after that, and then eventually dogs, I unzipped my tent to just see the forest and cooked breakfast and just laid there, the scene is still so vivid in my mind, soo much peace
That deer footage was so damn relaxing to watch. Definitely a reminder of the beauty and tranquility of nature. 👍🏼
Spent 14 days camping out in Sturgis. It healed my soul.
Thanks for sharing !
Kudos to you young lady...to go camping by yourself and be content even...and especially on your Harley motorcycle ! 😂. I road with my son to the Ozarks once and did the same...had a great time ! Again thanks for sharing... your a cutie !
Is it bad if I said I can smell this video, from the motorcycle exhaust to the fire wood burning to the veggies cooking and then the awesome Ribeye. Yum Yum. Thanks for sharing, it definitely looks like a peaceful time.
wow - just wow - I've never seen anyone camping in a hammock - always tents - but that looks so much fun - food looks wicked - only way to go - and the deer - glad you had an awesome time - plus wood comments lol
It's not new my families have camped in Hammond for 15 years
@@briandetrick2688 it's not really how we camp in England - most camping is in a field - so tents or caravan - and the more scenic campsites with trees, etc, are usually set up for glamping - so yurts - teepees - shepherd huts - that sort of thing.... don't know where to do the hammock thing - but it looks fun
@@briandetrick2688 I had a look online and found 26 hammock campsites in the whole UK - non of which I have reason to go to - might try one of the ones in Scotland to see what it's all about
Camping and being outdoors. There’s nothing else like it. Peaceful and gives you a break from the outside world. Really loved your video.
Great video, I admire a woman that rides and camps. Thank goodness that my wife does both. Enjoy and stay safe.
Okay I love that hammock and I love that you brought string lights!! Such a cool set up, Im totally doing this when I get my bike!
Living the American dream! Awesome bike, awesome tattoos, awesome personality.
Absolutely beautiful love seeing the deer with her fawn's love your videos
Amazing, just amazing. Too bad you did this alone and couldn't enjoy the company of friends. Great visitors in the background. Just fabulous.
That was so relaxing. The deer running through the woods while that music played...perfection.
Omg Jess... i loooooved this video! The close up footage was AMAZING! Added plus
... mama and her baby’s!
Awesome. Gave me huge need for motorcycle camping ! great video, thank you !
I'm in love!!! Eggs, hot dogs and mushrooms for breakfast,my kind of breakfast. I ride freight trains when I can and there is nothing better then being out in the middle of nowhere by yourself! NO drama, NO bull s@%t.
Holy cow this makes me wanna pack up the bike and go camp.
Dude right?
First I loved the steak then I really loved the coffee then the deer showed up. Yep perfect, 73, Mike
All I can say is that I’m envious. You know how to relax with yourself and that is incredibly valuable and important. I need to take a page from your life book and weave it into my life. I
Currently learning how to ride, can’t wait to get it down so I can go moto camping on the weekends!
I think its time i get my self a hammock. looks way more comfortable then normal tent
I camp by myself often, also on my bike. My wife hates camping so I got to go by myself often haha. Its the best little experience.
Very nice packing you thought of everything
I hang lights at campsites also ☺️; some of my most memorable trips have been camping alone 🏜🏕
Somebody needs that roadglide special with lower fairings. No more wet boots! 😎
I used to do the exact same thing all the way through my 20s on my motorcycle until a deer almost ended my life at 29. I was sitting here thinking about it earlier this morning. Some of the best memories of my life. Up in the smoky mountains at the Cherokee survivors (Motörhead played one year), going down to ol myrtle beach HOB, stayin at moonshine & drinkin at kickstart saloon down at Daytona...........It’s a challenge for sure to take what you need on just a motorcycle. But I used to do it every time. And hell yes, the rain sucks. But you got to be hardcore to ride free. Respect for not trailering your bike and all that bs like a lot of “bikers” do & call camping on trips. This is how to do it & you are a true biker 🤘.
Great, taste food, nice place, beautiful weather. I loved your bike.
OMG! I may have just fallen in love with you! Beautiful, has tats, rides bikes, AND knows how to camp AND use a coffee press! The steak is just icing on the cake! I need a woman like you in my life!
Ikr
The best motorcycle related video I've seen in weeks. The Ribeye steak really capped it off. I'm subscribed!
Well, well you are awesome and you can ride, camp, cook and do awesome videos. You make my heart feel good. I love your attitude of life. Ride on.
Back in 2008 i had the opportunity to move to Torrence CA for work, my flat manager and his wife used to go out on their bikes almost every weekend. I became very close to them because we shared a common interest in travelling on 2 wheels. I started to accompany them once in a while and those were very good moments which i cherish till today.I came across your channel and trust me i am completely hooked.
Back in India we dont get to camp like this for safety issues. My stint in CA was short...you reminded me of those few months......
Keep riding and enjoy your life-------a fellow rider thousands of Miles away.....respect....
This is a very cool example of self reliance and sufficiency. You're doing great.
I always eat better camping than at home. Camping is a treat, so I treat myself with the good stuff! Ride safe.
I love these videos. Thanks for sharing!!
I'm all relaxed after watching.
Most folks don't realize the importance of meditation till they reach an advanced age....glad you did.
That is so true.
I’m a retired Combat Vet and I stumbled across your videos today, I ride my bike coast to coast and camp along the way. I enjoyed your videos, they are informative and it looks like you are having a great time, keep them coming, Be Safe and have Fun!
Big Dog
Do you have a youtube channel bro?
Very nice great seeing the deer out like that. Thanks.
Looked like tons of fun
U have the best personality & voice, very down to earth, I enjoy ur vids 👍🏾
"Camping is fun"... That should be a bumper sticker!! Lol.. And yes it is.. The absolute best
Great video! I’m 53 now, but started camping alone on two wheels as a teenager in high school. One aspect I really enjoy about it, is that feeling of self reliance, autonomy, and independence that I feel during those times. One way i up it to another level, is to find good boondocking locations, where I can go
Repetivily. This really adds to my pleasure, and gives me a feeling of getting something for nothing, and giving the middle finger to society, society’s rules, and just how expensive everything is these days. Really enjoyed your video! I feel like I got away from it all, even if, only in my head. 😆🙏
Remember.....you never get lost when riding!! I just found your adventures and will catch up on them.....take care and ride safe!!
That steak looked pretty awesome for your first time! Once you grill with a wood fire you'll never go back. And that was just over firewood. Wait till you start trying other woods and notice the flavor differences. We cook a lot with almond wood because it is plentiful here and it is just like a fruit wood. Great video!
Many of the parks in Texas and some of the ones I've been to in Arkansas will not allow you to use ground wood or chop up the trees to build fires. It's not as odd as some people think.
Yep. The smaller trees get stripped out pretty quick.
Your happiness in the video is gorgeous.
More power to you to get out there and enjoy the peace and quiet, sometimes we have to get away from all of the chaos and stupidity, have a beer for me and see you on the highways, be safe!
I was thinking of motocamping tomorrow. Now I’m definitely going to.
Can't beat camping 😎 sleeping under the stars so cool, sweet way forget about the humdrum of life and recharge your batteries. Great video hun stay safe. 😉😊
So grateful to have found your page to watch you plan, execute and enjoy your life to the fullest.
In the nineties when my son was small and had no choice in it :) he would get out of school on Friday and I would pick him up on the bike and we would flip a coin and headed some direction not sure which direction but we would just go well he's 31 now he still flips a coin head that direction and just goes with it.
Good thing I was a girl scout.
I showed him how to fish make traps traps cook squirrel or rabbit forrage use the land to your advantage build a shelter start a fire "naturally".
I'm 51 still wild still love to go biking and camping.
Be safe have fun never be afraid to try something new. Happy travels.
I've got to do this....62years old...on the road every day in a 18 wheeler.....But you just convinced me to GIT on my 04 DYNA WIDE GLIDE and just GIT lost......
I have camped but never by motorbike, looked the most fun ever and you enjoyed it to the hilt. Nice video, great watch. Thanks
You inspire me to take my Shadow and go do a solo camp.
A quick one off, as a young carefree motorcycle enthusiast, I didn’t give any heed to hearing protection. Now as a older motorcyclist, I have tinnitus. This is a common theme amongst older motorcycle enthusiast.
Add being around industrial machines plus playing in a rock band. Makes one appreciate cicadas.
Road Hog what, I cannot hear you,
The Ramblings of Larry that’s what happens when you become an old man.
Road Hog i worked on jet engines for 23 years and riding motorcycles. My ears ring loud
add 40 years of listening to heavy metal and the tinnitus takes on a whole new level
Just sold my house. Getting selling and giving away a lot of what I own. But I am keeping my bike. And now I will be buying a hammock tent apparently...so cool. Actually got emotional listening to the acoustic music watching the scenery. Can't wait to camp again...❤️🔥❤️
Thanks for another great camping video. You really capture the beautiful quiet of the moment. Make more. Please.
I enjoyed the video - the "host", the story, the food, the background. Would pair a glass of wine with the steak, though.
Dam Girl! That dinner had my mouth watering... Great job!
Video made me HUNGRY!
I just ate a big dinner but when I saw that steak I got hungry again!
Solo? you took hundreds of thousands of us with you! That was one of the best looking camp side dinners ever, BTW!
Talk about using a bike to the absolute fullest. Once I got bored of my local roads my bike went on craigslist, never had the cojones to do this type of adventure by myself.
I’m such a Moto camper & I just really enjoy these vlogs you make. You just get it Jess & when you vlog it people love to see the peaceful, relaxing outdoor wildlife experience we get when we Moto camp. You do such amazing job bringing it to reality of what it’s like.
Your energy, attitude and peaceful demeanor is very refreshing! Just out living it...I love it. From one biker to another, I'm subscribed. Cheers!
It's a very nice place for camping.
Everything is available there.
Babe, Harley, Camp, Food... what more do you want? living the life , love it
good times
Dude good time is right homie a good book after a fine dinner...
#shadetreearmy is here
This video was literally perfect and so much fun, thanks for bringing us along!
I don't know how I missed this video but glad to have found it. Overland camping (motocamping) has been a passion of mine since my first motorcycle at age 19. It was the cheapest way for me to travel as a young airman in the Air Force stationed in England. Even my '08 Fatboy was rigged for motocamping. It's such a thrill to ride, explore, find a great place to camp, kick back and enjoy sunsets and sounds of nature. In the Southwest there are so many dispersed camping areas like BLM land and national forest areas. Not so much here on the East Coast, unfortunately. I do a lot of stealth camping in lieu of having to pay for camping with crowds. I'm glad you took videos of the doe and fawns, awesome! I love to cook and experimenting is a passion while I'm camping.
I see you for the first time. I really like this video, nice background music. The use of the hangmat/sleepingbag, dinner and breakfast.. Really nice to see, and not to forget.. Nice bike, sounds really great.
Motorcycle camping tomorrow and I can’t wait to get out of this AZ heat!!!
Jess, you and your bike both are beautiful. Love from India.
That steak looked delicious. And breakfast looked great too. Loved the music. Great video. 👍👍
Done that and sleeping under the stars with your bike and nothing but nature. Girl I love your video and here is proof that enjoying life has nothing to do with money but attitude. Keep it up and enjoy your beautiful life
got me totally stoked to do this in the spring.great vid.
Wow! Girl that was the best! Good content good music. Going to get me one of those hammocks and the deer at the end, icing on the cake . O! I'm inviting myself to you and your hubbys place for Sunday lunch if that stake is on the menu .😋👏👍
I've seen every video you've seen.
I love it.
I'm from Taiwan.
Very supportive of your video.
I like you very much.
13:35
Brazilian listening to it:
"OMG. What a heresy..."
“More troubles than your ex” 🤣 Honestly, I think not having the wood-buying ride footage in between went well with the flow of the video 👌🏽 PS I friggin LOVE your hammock!
Perfecto que disfrutes del viaje ok saludos 😀
When you are there all by yourself , do you feel us ? “your followers”. I swear to good , the way you tell, makes me feel like I was there .
Thank you ❤️
Now that's therapy. Nothing like nature and the sounds it makes.
You’re amazing, and have this great calming attitude/demeanor that gives off a good vibe. I like everything about you. Keep doing what you’re doing!!
Jess that was awesome i wish we could do that in the summer here in orlando but its a little hard wayyyy to hot and rains everyday
Dinner was legit
The best noise for a biker, when you arrived with the wood -air cooled engine cooling cracklng. When I arrive home from a ride just open a beer and listening to my bike's spirit how its playing music during cooling down with me.
I wish the sun should shine on you
Damn that's a sweet hammock! I need to try one out, for some reason I never have. That looks like a nice campsite too, I have no desire to "rough it" so something like that is nice
Jess, You made me hungry watching this!!!
Looks like a great time.🙂👍🏻 Keep having fun and keep smiling. Stay safe😎🤔
Great trip! Thanks for taking me along! 😄😁🇺🇸👍🏼🐾
