This video saved my day here in snow dressed and cold Stockholm. Super thanks for all your inspirational videos. Due to them I just bought Triumph Bonneville T100🙂.
That’s so nice to hear Christian (not the weather, but that you bought yourself a Bonnie), I hope the weather warms up so you can get out on it soon. 🤞
On February I bought my own T120 Black, spending my first season riding not farther away than 60-70 miles from home, always coming back the same day. Watching your video here in winter-time Poland I just know what`s my plans for riding in 2024... Thank you! :)
Glad to hear it, obviously there are more practical bikes out there, but there’s a real sense of adventure going on a long trip on a Bonnie, I’m sure you’ll love it 👍
You say "silent", but the sound effects are the very story and dialogue. The sound of material and zips. Sizzling sausages, the drip of water are at the very height of professional sound recording and editing. Brilliant.
Hi again bro. I'm excited again with your new video. It was a very enjoyable video, both visual and auditory. You are living my dreams. All I have to do is watch and watch with envy. It's marvelous. Continue... Show must go on!

My wife (who rides, and also has a T120 (Black)) have crossed the US many times and we always “water the horses” first before we settle ourselves in. For us though, it was waterproof bike covers. . .but the tent, which I see you are using for you also. . .is a great idea. Well done as usual.
Hey there, glad to see you liked the video! Setting up the tarp first is just a pragmatic choice, I can move the tent into position easily around the tarp, but it’s not so easy the other way around 🙂
Hi Matt ...was travelling on work ...saw the pop up that you had posted a video ..dint want to see on the mobile ...came back home and watched it on the big screen....amazing video 😊
I can't believe you can pack so much on your bike although your backpack looks pretty full as well! You make a solo motorcycle campout look both tranquil and efficient at the same time. Another enjoyable adventure. Thanks
Now I can't wait to head off to Welsh coast again on the bike this year.. Love the blue sea, the fresh air, the mountains, the roads, the journeys and the destinations. ❤️ Thankyou for reminding me of the beauty.

You picked a lovely motorcycle Omar! I'm sure it'll be a lifelong partner for you. Yes, I think Columbia would be amazing to ride through, maybe one day I'll do just that.
I’ve just been looking at tents! I like the look of the Wingman, but I also like yours after seeing it set up. My Honda is up for sale and the hunt for a T120 is well and truly underway, thanks in part to your good self and taking part in the Edinburgh DGR last Sunday. I think a blooper video would be great too! 👍 thanks Matt. 👌
I hope you find the perfect T120 soon, and I’m honoured that I’ve played a small part in your decision to get one. The Wingman tents do look good, for me personally I also go camping with my partner and our dog so having equipment I can use for both settings is a better option.

That has been the most relaxing/calming 11.5 minutes I've spent today! We finally caught a break in the weather here in western Germany and I was able to get out for 6 hours on Monday. Bloody cold still, ranging from 5 - 12 Celsius. But sunny, and that made all the difference.

Its hard to think you dont have a six man crew with you to make these happen, Im extremely impressed. Cheers mate. I found the music, Andrew Word, awesome music.
That’s quite the compliment, thank you 😁. I’ve seen six-man or more crews filming adverts for cars around the Peak District, and I’ve often wondered what most of those people are actually getting paid to do 🤷🏻♂️. I’m a believer in keeping it simple 😁. Glad you found the music too, Andrew Word has a touch of Bears Den about him, which I like.

Spectacular video and stunning views, thanks for sharing and keep up the great work. It certainly inspired me to get out camping this weekend, even brought a new tent.
Hi Matt, I like the tarp setup over the silver dagger ,looks like you have got packing the bike up to a fine art, looked a nice camping spot.Ride safe Pete.

@@ClassicRides It definitely pays off and I appreciate the effort! It fits the whole 'classic' bike thing to go through so much rigmarole. Crossing my fingers for you, anyway, that you one get so successful that you have people to reply for you! Well kinda. You know what I mean!
@@Disposalist I’ve had enough scraped knuckles trying to maintain the classic cars I used to own, much prefer having all the style but with modern reliability 😁
@@Disposalist don’t imagine I’ll get that big on UA-cam 😁, even if I did I’ll always do my best to reply to people. I always think it’s a poor effort to not reply to people who’ve made the effort to write something. I’ve been blanked quite a few times from some of the bigger motorcycle channels and bugged me every time 😁
The scenery was so beautiful, I put subtitles on an rewatched the beginning just to find out where this was, and I'm shocked it was actually filmed in the UK, the scenery doesn't look like anything I'm used to! Didn't think there were many places to wild camp in Wales, was it tricky finding this place?
It’s actually a massive camp site by the sea called Shell Island. It’s horribly busy at weekends but if you go during the week it’s fairly quiet. It’s very hard to wild camp in the UK as there’s not a lot of options which is a shame, but we make do with what we have 🙂
@@ClassicRides Thanks for the tip! Have just recently passed my motorbike test, and am exploring different options for when I buy a bike :) Great video btw 👍
Glad you like the videos Gareth. The campsite in this video is called Shell Island in North Wales. Whatever you do, don't go there on a weekend or a school holiday as it gets incredibly busy and isn't really a 'peaceful' place to pitch up.
Came back round again to watch it from the start and it's another beautifully shot classic. I love the Tilly lamp, and THAT camping table, where did you find it? You do realise that you're rapidly regressing to the 1960's, the Bonnie is going to start leaving puddles of oil on the shed floor next. Another great one Matt, thank you.
It sounds like it's about to start leaving oil everywhere at the moment, think it's in need of a bit of TLC after this past winter. The table's just from Amazon, thought it would pack down smaller actually, but quite happy with it; and you can't go wrong with a proper hurricane lamp to give you the sense of really camping.
Another superb short film matt many thanks Your camping trips always look seamless I'm wondering if that's the whole truth? Could I ask where that was filmed
Thanks Ian, I tastefully edit out all the parts where I’m swearing because I’ve forgotten something important 😁. The campsite is called Shell Island in North Wales, it’s a nice place, just don’t go there during the school holidays.

I’ve been blanked quite a few times from some of the bigger motorcycle channels and bugged me every time 😁
cool!
Thank you 🙏🏻
The kettle could use a diaper. But i must say: you have got high quality stuff.
Thanks, I have a few nice things now, but yes, that kettle was rubbish 😁
That was so beautiful and inspiring. Thank you.
Where is this btw?
H go lad you liked it. The campsite is called Shell Island in North Wales.
@ClassicRides Wow I'd have never guessed that. Looked like the Scottish Highlands or even Spain in the sun! Thank you I'll look that site up!
Have just recently passed my motorbike test, and am exploring different options for when I buy a bike :)
Great video btw 👍
Hi mate , really enjoy your vids . So relaxing . What is the campsite your at in this vid please ?
Glad you like the videos Gareth. The campsite in this video is called Shell Island in North Wales. Whatever you do, don't go there on a weekend or a school holiday as it gets incredibly busy and isn't really a 'peaceful' place to pitch up.
@@ClassicRidesthank you for replying . Will definitely avoid at the times u mentioned . Ride safe mate
Wauw ❤🏍🏍
Thanks 🙏🏻
Lovely soothing video! Is this Barmouth?
Yes some of it is 🙂
Hi Matt, can you please share what interesting helmet visor are you using in this video?
Sorry about the previous reply Petr, I was thinking of the wrong video! The visor in this one an Arai Sun Shade Pro 🙂
Look's stunning, where were you based
Personally I’m near the north Peak District, but this video was shot in North Wales
Great video. Is it west Scotland?
Actually it’s north west Wales, perhaps not quite as epic as west Scotland, but not far off 👌
Cool. Everything in English is pedantic...
Only 100 grams of whiskey was missing at dinner😊👍
You’re right, I must bring some next time.
Another superb short film matt many thanks
Your camping trips always look seamless I'm wondering if that's the whole truth?
Could I ask where that was filmed
Thanks Ian, I tastefully edit out all the parts where I’m swearing because I’ve forgotten something important 😁.
The campsite is called Shell Island in North Wales, it’s a nice place, just don’t go there during the school holidays.
@@ClassicRides looks really great Matt funny about the edit
Where did you get the rear tail tidy from on your bike?
Hi Keith, it’s a mudguard by Montone Customs that I don’t think they stock anymore.
