Could the Carbon process be used with walls of 6 inch's thick? In a ...15 x 15 room, is it worth a Gut and start from scratch? I've already mentioned the outside noise I get is horrible, high 50s on average, so you know the peaks already. Ceiling, the worst 8ft. Hardwood floors, it's a echo chamber at this point.
The depth of the studs determines the resonant frequency or how low the stud space will absorb down to. With a 6" deep cavity to work with, you will start absorbing at 60 Hz.
From what I read, you have multiple problems. if I were in your situation, I would fill out the form AF has, arrange a call with Dennis and then go through your room's problems and develop a strategy that fits within your current budget, OR at least know how much it costs before you spend any money.
With our QDA series, our ACDA-10 technology, 30 - 300 Hz. is located within four of the deepest wells. The bases of our QDA series have our ACDA-12 technology 30 - 50 Hz.
Still the best acoustic principles on You Tube
Thank you for your support and following.

I really like the theme song
Shout out to Bryan in marketing for that one.
Pls Sir...What do you do if your space has windows that are always open...not a listening or high end audio room
An open window is a perfect sound absorber. Once energy leaves the room through the window it never returns.
Also, the carbon infused diffusers.
