I've been using hot rollers since they first come out in the 70's and still do and I'm 62!

Oh yes! I was in high school in the 80s and was a hot curler expert! After years of having short hair, I am now growing it out a bit again. Thanks for the refresher course. I may need to buy a new set of curlers!

This is a great video on a current way to use hot rollers! I’ve never stared at the base of my hair before, this gives so much volume where I need it!! Thank you!!

Hot rollers were my jam. FYI: if you put the clip in the opposite direction it will hold the roller against your head more securely. Great tutorial.

I got 80s velvet hot rollers from one of my great aunts yesterday and am watching this to figure out how to use them. I have super short hair(1/2 inch shave but then long enough on the top to sit to my eyebrows usually it has grown a little since I last had them cut) so I'm hoping I can use them while my hair grows before I get it cut again.

New sub! I guess I was beachy with my hot rollers before beachy waves were cool. I’ve always rolled my hair this way since my Farrah Fawcett days in the 70’s 🩷

I put some tissue like a Kleenex or a wad of TP under rollers that are touching my skin so it doesn’t burn. Yes

Why would you do a video with such a greasy hair, it was kind of gross to look at especially the underneath parts ☹️ why not just…. Wash your hair if you’re doing your hair tutorial?
