Excellent show thank you, great points and a very good ending UTC.
Absolutely fuming, i was Keep Kompany in and go again next season, and then this surfaces and wants out...I went to Palace and you could see a shift in Kompany at the end when he came over to the away end, I think he Knew then that he wanted to leave and the reaction of the fans towards him that day he stood there a few seconds and walked away, some of his decisions this season been Questionable on Team selection, substitution and transfers as a whole. has been a worse season than the one when we needed to win against Orient on the last day...At least that season we won 12 games, and like you said there has been on accountability on Kompanys part, and to add insult to injury was like you Mentioned Natalie the timing of the release of that Video by the press team at the Turf and Kompany saying we go again next season 💜💙
You really r stupid I wos on the orient game come on we were getting 1 600 fans on team wos 8 th div team if played today get a grip he’s gone so move on get moyes in and go mr aspden
Another plus Zaroury, Benson, Muric Taylor, Brownhill might all stay with us next season knowing they have a chance to play
Even if it falls through he can’t come back now. Just subbed 👍
I feel sorry for Pace, guilty of backing his guy.
Yeah I do too. He’s a good person and believed in him. And gave him a chance.
Gosh I've never watched you before but was a good and insightful listen. I feel especially sorry for the panelist, he's clearly down.
Coaches should play a style and system that maximizes and brings confidence to their players.
Thank you. Yeah, it’s been a tough season and we’re all feeling it 😢
Good pod - nailed a lot of what I've been thinking.
Don't blame VK for going to Bayern but I can just really see through him now; he's very fake and is out for himself and himself only. It is what it is.
Lets hope the board has learnt from this and NEVER EVER affords so much control in the footballing operation to one person.
The board needs to appoint somebody (either managerial or as an assistant) who has seen it all so that they can learn from their experience.
UTC.
Do you think there’s justification now for a Director of Football?
@@nonayneverpodcast Yep - I absolutely do.
@@nonayneverpodcastWasn't that why Anderlecht said goodbye, he wanted to much control over player recruitment. Just look at the mediocrity we have bought.
This last season has been soul destroying especially after the highs of the Championship season however the lack of pressure on Kompany to keep us in the Prem is a contributing factor. Kompany knew that his job was safe regardless of outcome so he stuck with this 'project' of buying young unproven potential for substantial sums of which probably 90% would not give us a net positive return. Luton who came up with us through the playoffs brought in players with Prem experience and finished above us and they genuinely tried to stay in the Prem. If we had done that, I think we would have been OK.
My attitue to it was, the sooner he's gone, the better, no point fighting an uphill battle to retain staff that dont to be a part of the set up at TM. There's an awful lot of work ahead and the longer VK was to hang on, the longer it'd take to replace him, putting an extra burden on any newcomer, and also it waste's the transfer window oppotunities availible to the in coming appointee. Out with the Old, In with the New, a fresh start with renewed Hope. UTC!
Couldn't care less about him leaving sooner the better. We are clearly losing a manager who was so far out of his depth. He won't last in Germany 🇩🇪
He has to deliver the title or he’s sacked. Some pressure that.
To believe that VK would leave Burnley to me is a big shock, and a very big disappointment,I seriously thought that he would be there to bring Burnley back into the Premiership not straight away but eventually, but now I can see Burnley staying in the Championship for longer.👍⚽️❤️
There’s no loyalty in football.
@@nonayneverpodcastTrue but what a sad state of affairs we are now in.
Well if its true the " so called 5 plan gone to pot". What gets me is we spent £100m on mostly mediocre players which we are stuck with. Feel for the Burnley chairman let down by a charlatan. PS. He wasn't second choice more like 6th for the Bayern job. If he goes so what . Someone stated to me when he signed he will fxxk off soon as something better comes along, and won't give two shxts about Burnley.
can't blame him to be honest as is style of play will work with better players, just hope we get the right guy in ..
Who’s on your list?
Moyes number one for me mr aspden
@@michelleaspden6586We don't Moyes.
Steve Cooper … Ex Nottingham Forrest Manager / That American coach Jesse March too 🤔
On 15th April 2021, Burnley dropped into the Twilight Zone. And ever since then it’s been Absolutely Weird Shit.
2022 ! (unless I missed something that happened exactly 12 months prior to Sean Dyche being sacked?)
@@dlrbrts I came at the King, and I missed.
(At least I’ll never get the day and month wrong, as it’s my wedding anniversary!)
Id rather be mid table in championship without Kompany
That’s going to be a very miserable place after a while though.
Ragnick only turned Bayern down a few days ago - VK is about their 8th choice
I’m not sure he’ll care…
Rangnick was the 3rd choice
Both Nagelsmann and Rangnick are headcoach of the national Team and both Said they can't do 2 Jobs at the Same time so
@@Dooood89 so what ?
done deal, all the staff going too according to Mike McGrath in the Telegraph
Kompany should have been fired after 10 games . His PL record at every level speaks for itself .
Agree with that about it being a fractured dressing room as by all counts that was why Anass and Connor Roberts were send out on loan cause Anass had a falling out with Bellamy and Roberts had a fall out Kompany by all accounts
What you have to bear in mind is Kompany's Agent is actually his Dad💜💙
Good news , saves us cost of sacking him.
… assuming he didn’t smash the championship. Wins the league with +100 points again and we were never sacking him.
The project will remain just with a different person at the helm UTC
Will another manager not have his own project though?
@@nonayneverpodcast it’s the clubs project that folk have invested in not vk’s
Not premiership, thats in Scotland, it's Premier league in England
From 1993 to 2001 it was the Premiership, some of us older lot still say that
Do y think Burnley should get experience championship manager to get u back Pl
I’d love Moyes. Not gonna happen.
Moyes for me mr aspden
People will always be offered another job in life. He could have been offered the job of his life for probably 10 times his wage anyone would jump at that.
Lets take the positive we won the league at Ewood park.
From me if it happens good luck to him
I think I’m more annoyed at the situation, rather than him. We allowed this to happen. NB.
@@nonayneverpodcastWhat did we allow to happen? Not sure what you mean.
Kompany spent a fortune by Burnleys standards and we had the worst ever season in the top league the club has ever had in living memory, i for one will be glad to see the back of him and his constant excuses.
if he has a blip he will be sacked in Germany, so big risk for him. Why would they want him when he failed at Burnley ultimately.
He hasn’t failed for us he’s mid project will be the way it’s portrayed
Better players will do a lot better mr aspden
@@holty2604There was no project, VK as a massive ego didn't care about Burnley.
@@Hunterfinn625 the ‘project’ is the clubs business plan, vk is only the manager carrying out his part, the project remains with a new manager
@@holty2604Well the business plan isn't exactly working, if we have to offload players how many are worth more than we paid fof them maybe one or two. Virtually £100m pxxxed up against the wall.
Completely disagree with your comment about loyalty to your employer. If you agree to a contract then you stick to your agreement. Thats a problem now no one cares, only out for themselves to the detriment if everyone else.
