She just feels like such a genuine actual person. She's a good mom because she loves her family and is doing her best, not because she's perfect. She has contradictions, depth. She keeps the family afloat with her whimsy and optimism.
I like how Linda is still a good mom even though she makes mistakes. She's the more fun one between her and Bob but she's not irresponsible or lazy, she just gets carried away sometimes
Gosh if I had parents that were supportive & loving like Bob and Linda imagine where I'd be today (Well since posting this my mother passed while I was 3 months pregnant. I LOVE this show! Linda's my favourite character :):):) And she's such a great mom. She also just a breath of fresh air compared to other Fox Animated Moms like Francine Smith and Lois Griffin, who are terrible mothers basically for the sake of comedy. Linda is hilarious and a good mom, showing that you can be both on a Fox cartoon without sacrificing anything.
