IBCS Engages Multiple Missiles During Pivotal Army LUT

In August 2020, the U.S. Army conducted two flight tests as part of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) Limited User Test (LUT). During the first test, IBCS engaged a high flying tactical ballistic missile and a cruise missile near simultaneously. In the second flight test, IBCS was able to engage cruise missiles in a contested environment. These tests demonstrated the IBCS’s ability to acquire, track, identify and engage diverse targets from various locations, speeds and altitudes.
