Plus animation and comics are 2 completely different formats of story telling, people who animate wont be able to pace out a comic properly or page it right, same thing vice versa. the only thing similar between these 2 formats is that they need art
edit: hence the amount of manga fans crying about the animes not doing their favourite mangas' justice
