No kidding! Appreciate that brother. I would've kept beating myself up, but I wanted to at least keep the bike safe 😂 hopefully I'll see you at sorcs this Sunday if you're feeling better 👊
Man, what brutal conditions! Huuuge props for going out and doing it anyway, I probably would've been in the "they can keep my money" crowd haha. All things considering looks like your riding wasn't too bad! I'm glad I've found your channel, not enough people are doing commentary videos of their races, and yours are entertaining! Huge bonus for me that I'm also a c-class rider on a 23' 250 XC, always cool watching someone of similar skill and on the same bike. Personally, I've found that in slick conditions when the speeds are lower like this I surprisingly have an easier time riding in the green map on my 250. The extra torque in the bottom of the rev range lets me lug it more, ride a gear higher, and use the clutch a lot less to keep at least some semblance of traction. I feel much less of a struggle trying to keep the thing moving. Probably wouldn't have helped too much in this shit, but might be worth trying for yourself to see if you like it for next time. Just my 2¢. But hey, great riding and great video! Looking forward to the next one, videos like these keep me going until racing starts up in the northeast.
I appreciate that! I only ever ride in the white map if I'm in crap like this. I'll have to give the green a try. I felt like I was spinning alllllll day. Where you from? I used to live and ride up in MA and NH.
Subscribing back. Thanks. I only got two laps myself in that one. My first was 34 minutes or so - and my second was 59 mins. Your first lap ruts were probably close to what my second lap was - due to about the whole field of riders having gone through. See you at the Bullet maybe.
Carry a tow strap and install a strap that goes over the back of your seat. They also have fender mounted retractable straps, thank me later. Love the attempt tho
This looked like a heck of a workout. Thanks for posting
You're right about that! Sincerely appreciate you watching. I'll have the next sorcs race posted by Wednesday 👊
Wow, you got a heck of a workout in this one!!
It’s a win for going. Good learning experience.

Yeah buddy!!
Props to you, I would of left just seeing the starting mud. Perfect conditions some would say.
Thanks Jon! Figured I could've used a character building opportunity Sunday
We passed each other about 20 times in the first 10 minutes 😂 we took turns crashing/getting stuck
Enjoyed struggling out there with you! I think? Still need to digest my experience at Aonia 😂

Mud and ruts...my least favourite things lol. Can't win a race in the first 5 minutes but you sure can lose it.
Right! I would've kept beating myself up, but once the bike started overheating I called it quits.
