@@mrktm65sx I've haven't been to battery park yet, but v3 I would say is more of a place to train and push yourself as opposed to the Offroad park experience. Both have their pros and cons - I appreciate you watching! 😃

Hey Fred tire suggestions here!! At81 Rear and MX3S front is my go-to at all these Georgia tracks. Plus some Nutech NitroMousse inserts!!
@@tylersilvia6973 I appreciate it man! I actually really liked the 81s that came stock on the 250xc, they lasted a looong time. I've got the 82s in the hard setting which might be why I'm not liking them with a little bit of wear on them. I've heard so many contrasting opinions on mousses, but I'm really tired of getting flats at 13 psi 😂
@@ftc559_ Mousses are the way to go for sure! They have a bit of a dead feeling (not springy) but the fact that you can run basically 8-10 psi tube pressure and not have to worry about popping a tube makes it worth it for me. I know a lot of pros who prefer the 81 over the 82 rear as well haha

In my defense on the track it looked like it was going to be way more difficult when we were laying it out. The atvs made the track perfect smooth 🤣. Next race will definitely have some more tighter stuff.

Bridgestone m59 front tire / Metzeler 6 Days Extreme rear
I ended up going with the at82 front and rear. I raced the Cherokee Enduro last Sunday with that combo and I'm in absolute love. I forgot what it was like to ride a bike that had that much control 😂

@@joshbolling9485 back when I rode in high school, I had my dad screw in an L bracket to mount a flip video camera to my helmet! Hahahhaha. The gopro definitely makes us look slow.

Where is this place at?
Another good one! For the downhills look at the run out at the bottom, if you have space to let the bike go and do all your braking at the bottom that can help you feel more comfortable. Easy to fixate on the steepness of the hill and drag the rear tire down the face. I did laugh a bit at you saying you were scared or something like that after watching you send it at MX4. I tried but can't sack up and send it but I'm motivated to try to mx again this summer.
That's something I'll definitely work on. I had a KTM mechanic yell at my ass to sit back and put my weight on the back tire a few gncc rounds ago. I'm so used to sitting up front it doesn't feel natural. Those downhills were nuts dude! Little more seat time I think I'll start competing for top twenties overall 👊 appreciate you watching and commenting!

At 36:40 in the video on the 1st lap there was like 15 people stuck there. Staggered up the hill.
That course was awesome! Also, I had a good time playing tag with panda man "slingshot". He got a good fast pass on me while on the big uphill logging road.

GoPro never gives the downhills justice 😆 that first one was sketchy as hell the first lap when I was already going too fast to slow down as much as I wanted for that turn. Was also testing out that Tusk Talon tire rear and it's pretty unstable while skidding, just had to slow down as much as I could the let off the rear and stick my foot out and lucky the front held, the other two big downhills had the sharp turn at the bottom and just had to hope you could turn at the end.
That 90 degree right downhill was horrifying. So was the downhill that went smack into a huge oak. Definitely a challenging course!
Mouse with a MX Tire in the front, and tubliss with a hybrid gummy in the rear has worked out great for me (MX34 front / Shinko 525 Rear @5.5 psi)

@@ftc559_ even though I complain about passing in my videos, the challenge is addictive. At mideast racing I've only got 4 to possibly 8 people in our row. We kinda get used to each other and try all year to chase one or two down. But at Sorcs, the challenge is more extreme. Yes it's frustrating to pass sometimes, but I've gotten much better and it's an advantage because your competitors have to make that pass to catch up. Being a great passer is a big advantage at Sorcs
@@Bryan-Hensleyon the rare occasion I pass someone now, I feel like I've gotten way more efficient at it! I find it really motivating when I'm catching up to people and have gained some pretty good vision for hotlines or just straight up aggressive but safe passing. Think next year I'll be in a much better position to challenge for a top five in 250c points 👊

Carry a tow strap and install a strap that goes over the back of your seat. They also have fender mounted retractable straps, thank me later.
