I use a planner and I love to decorate and make it look pretty. I use a dot grid TN for my purse and I love that I can change it up any week I feel I need a change. Thanks for sharing your journal with us.
I love Hobonichi paper. I have not had any issues with bleeding. The paper is thin, but very high quality. I prefer it to thick paper journals and notebooks. I would recommend trying it out, maybe just a small undated notebook to experiment...
Thanks! I may try it - watching a couple of journal UA-camrs and heard about the 2025 web launch crash- that was interesting! Looks like the weeks techo might be a good place for me to start - I’ll see what’s available
If you feel like it, let me know what you decide! I’m loving my little homemade, but I’m super curious about some utter brands- that Hobanichi line is really tempting to me…..hmmmm but I’m for sure ordering a Freedom Mastery just because I know I’ll use it - and it is really beautifully made ❤
@@Journals4breakfast I think I may be doing a homemade one too and tweaking it from month to month until I figure it out. I would love to try hobanichis as well. I get so overwhelmed buying online, though. I wish I had a brick and mortar stationary store by me to actually touch the notebooks.
I love a planner, have used lots of them over the years as well. Day Timer, Franklin Planner, Happy Planner, my own bullet journal, everything handwritten in a dot grid, and finally the best of all for me the Hobonichi. I use fountain pens almost exclusively in the Hobonichi. sharpie markers and alcohol inks do bleed through, but I use my journals for those art supplies. I love watercolouring in my Hobonichi, it's lovely the way the paper moves with the watercolour. [Also, Sephora is a huge facist supporter, so I will never spend another cent there again].
Good to know and once again, just based on accessibility I have avoided Sephora - I pass 3 ulta's to get there - but I dont buy much in the way of cosmetics - that was a HUGE purge and "get real" time in my life a few years ago - women are stunned to see what I actually own - its all in one small maybe tackle box size container. One. small. That took work :) but I do love make up and will buy again so that's helpful to know! I looked online a few weeks ago for a web site that lists dollars spent by corporations for leaning in one direction or another, and the one I found was pretty clunky to navigate - feel free to share one if you know of a good one. I am beyond excited about setting up my hobanichi and omg - watercolor in these pages??? Yes! I am on it! :)
I love that- my little “pocket brain” has dot grid pages and I use those for to do’s and notes - there is something just so flexible about the dot grid right? Happy you’re here! ❤

Trying to figure out what planner works for me right now. I'm glad to hear you change it up according to the phase of life. Happy to see you!

Also, Ulta, not a donor to the Project 2025 creators.
