Descriptive discussion over the reason behind introduction of FDI in India.
As a result of the gulf war, there was this huge crisis, India fell into the trap of economic crisis because of the balance of payment situation and faced the twin deficit of fiscal and trade deficit, there was devaluation of India rupee and mortgage of the gold reserve, adding to this, India had to a take a huge loan amount of $2.2 billion from IMF. So in exchange this LPG concept was launched.
