- This is like a tribute to PMD. This game forged a part of my childhood. I wanted to support this good old game, as a musical Fan-Art.

The days when the Mystery Dungeon games were story driven...
The newer ones are cool too, but the Explorers games could be movies
Quilava Farron Sky is definitely the best, but Gates and Super definitely have better stories than Rescue Team
The only big problem with all of them except for Gates (and maybe Rescue Team it's the only one I haven't played) is that they all fall into the "Never trust Dark types or Ghost types" cliche. Seriously if you followed that golden rule you would've already known that Dusknoir and Nuzleaf were evil just because they were Dark or Ghost type.
Can someone please do that, the movie thing. Just animate a playthrough.
Apart from in GtI, when it turned out the Dark type turned out to be the good guy. While GtI had its many flaws, it still had it moments like then.
Dusknoir technically isn't evil and if you think about it, it would only make sense to send a pokemon such as him. He can disappear and go through walls, he's a one-poke exploration team with powerful attacks and one that can hit two tiles away. For nuzleaf, well... I don't think anyone was expecting him to be evil just because he was a dark type. And red/blue rescue team had Gengar but it showed immediately he was evil instead of pretending not to be.

I loved the game so much...
I was so nervous when i battle primal dialga... Like that you must win it beforw its too late
Same! I felt that I had to rush the fight so hard or else, shit would happen
I will remember my first ever playthrough of the game, myself as Riolu with Eevee and Groyvle going on what was an all or nothing mission to a mysterious land. (Somehow whenever I do a replay I end up as Riolu or Chimchar, seems Fighting types are my thing)
Considering Dialga loves to use Roar of Time and one-shot you, it gives you even an in-game sense that you'd better kill this guy before it's too late
This fight will go down as the most difficult one in ANY Pokémon game.
Lots of memories, brings a tear every time in my eye
Back when the Mystery Dungeon decimated the main series in storytelling, and could throw down with the big boys at Square Enix and BioWare. Storytelling carried the early entries, and carried them FAR.
Tbh Rescue Team had a nice story but not that amazing.
Honestly Rescue Team's story is the weakest in the series. Sky though.... is top notch

I think for me, Primal Dialga will always be the hardest battle in PMD2. He's overly op, distorsion hits like a truck, and you can basically get killed in 2 shots. But man... That son is epic. It makes it so that you want to move on and keep fighting.
The most annoying part for me were the random intimidator activations in which you had to skip your turn. Along that he could hit you from anywhere with Roar of Time which was a one hit KO if your team wasn't strong enough. The real battle was the random test from the guild, Dugtrio's Earthquake took out both my characters because of ground type weakness

I was so sad to realize that I couldn't find these remixes anywhere after searching for them one day, not having even remembered the name of original remixer - I am very grateful that these still exist even in the form of reuploads. I'm sure OE had his reasons, but it's just unfortunate that there were no alternatives because these seriously have to be some of my favorite PMD remixes I've ever heard.

I'ma say it right now, the Explorers games were by far the best Pokemon games in terms of story... And I am taking into account the mainline games... Their on par with black and whites story.
So it floors me that the devs over at chunsoft instead decided to sanitize and simplify gates to infinity and super. They have the ability to do so much more but wimped out.

@asaeampan sometimes you can be hella overleveled in this game and still struggle. I know this from Mystery Dungeon DX (My only mystery dungeon game yes i plan to play some older ones too.) I grinded for power drinks, accuracy drinks, and Protein/Calcium, More revive seeds and oran berries and still couldn't beat Rayquaza. All I needed was a better strategy of spreading out my teammates so I didn't waste 3 revive seeds each turn to hyper beam.

If they remake it, they should honestly use this version. The trumpets add a regal and powerful tone that really reflects upon Dialga's character.

@@jfodsbi Whitney's miltank wasn't even hard, i feel like ppl say that for the memes, everytime i play i just beat the damn cow, as for Cynthia, yh she can be pretty strong but if you plan your team from the very beginning then she's not too bad (still a struggle tho)

For my opinion,you should play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky.Its one of the best,maybe the best spin-off Pokemon game you could ever find.There's Special Episodes where you play as other characters and there's more.Really good soundtrack,sprites and im not even talking about the story!

I remember discovering this remix a few years back from the original uploader and being in total awe, actually almost tearing up from how overwhelmed with emotions I was. I'm so glad to see that someone reuploaded for us to be able to listen to. With that being said, the second mystery dungeon game will always still remain as one of my fav games of all time.

Ironic that some of the greatest and innovative Pokémon titles ever made WEREN’T designed by Gamefreak. Pokémon Colosseum & XD, the early Mystery Dungeon games, the Pokémon Ranger series, Conquest.

Your first partner is stopping the mad time god of the future from coming back to stop you. You and the chosen hero fight the time god as he turns mad to use his relics to save him and his tower. You and and your old partner do this knowing you will never had existed after all saved. You fight for a future you know you will never see.

Beat PMD Explorers of Darkness only a few days ago and hearing this for the first time makes me want to play it all over again.
I never played the games, I did watch the Tenth pokemon movie and dialga was one of my favorite pokemon. And I went on UA-cam to find out more about him and I am blown away by his theme. It made me cry finding this again after some years. Because I can feel glory and freedom all at ones. This theme will for ever be one of the best

Well PMD wasn't made by Gamefreak though, it's made by Chunsoft. But yes, Gamefreak cares more about money than, well, maybe not exactly the story, but pokemon itself, and its long-time fan.

I'd just like to say that the original composer of this remix decided to delete it and their other PMD works due to copyright laws in their country. If I remember correctly they asked that others NOT reupload them, hence why many decided to download all of them. (I have all of them on my laptop) Basically what I'm saying is that the originals were removed because of laws in the creators country that they didn't want to get in trouble for.

Yeah as others have stated these re-uploads will not affect the original maker in anyway. Also seeing as Nintendo seem to have loosened their grip around their UA-cam copyright stuff I doubt anyone is going to claim this as it's Nintendo's intellectual property and they have stated they won't claim anyone's content.
The maker didn't want them uploaded but this channel made the decision to do that. Seeing as they are not his property but the property of Nintendo he has very little right to what people can and cannot do with them. While I don't have a strong opinion either way on these uploads that's the facts.
The sound kinda belongs in like BOTW or something.

No pokemon game has ever had a song that hit quite the same way for me. The only thing that came close was the credits music in pokemon black and white.

2021 and the nostalgia still hitting me
Man, I remember the time when i ran out of reviver seeds before getting to primal dialga, so when i fighted i used x eye ,stun and sleep seeds. My partner (Riolu) was doing the health draining with brick break i got from a tm and i was like "RANDOM SEEDS GO!". Man i miss those times.
