Nobody does
Amidst all the uneducated trolls that are on here, what concerns me now is that, this morning, the Province of Nova Scotia declared a State of Emergency which includes Oak Island. On top of that, the Canada / U.S. border is closed to all non-essential traffic (by land, air and sea). As for Nova Scotia, any person who enters into Nova Scotia from a neighbouring Canadian province must go into self-isolation for fourteen (14) days. This COVID-19 pandemic could affect the production of Season 8.
Go home n save your last dollar.

@@johnwoa lol it's not like we would be missing anything important lol
Maybe I'm just a big nerd but I find it all fascinating. The dendro, the lead cross, etc. All the science and machinery. I mean, doing this work takes a lot of math and knowledge. The history! I personally think that's cool. Get that treasure!
Diana Shelton I agree even if it is nothing at the end I like seeing what goes on with the sciences and stuff
It's definitely interesting, I think that the way they drag out the show is just infuriating. I feel like all 7 seasons could be wrapped up into like, a short movie/documentary to summarize everything. There's so much on this show that ends up being irrelevant.
I just like that there's no drama, no conspiring or talking about people behind their backs.....It is one of the few that follow that model.
I have a feeling these guys found more than they show.
Finally a significant find after all these episodes
YES!!!
ugh, this thing is milked more than a cow on a one cow island
Art Life yes for sure. It’s all money.

I dont watch this for treasure......
but for hilarious "find" they discover.
It makes me LoL
Why don't you get a miner to tell you what you have. I'm a gold miner, underground variety, and I say you have a tunnel with lagging on the inside walls.
@ftwbk idiot #5
So its definitely a tunnel an not a natrual formation.
Hate to say it or break the news to you they aren't poor
Call Tony Beets. He’ll dig your treasure up in a day or two.
He would have to float in a dredge first.
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tony would replace the island.
Parker!
It’s a reverse treasure pit. All the money is going into the hole.
Money pit
Hello Milton, The Laginas are making GREAT royalties from whoever is filming the show.
Dig a hole, film it, put it on TV: VOILA!! MONEY!!!
Let’s just support the brothers because we all wish they find something and if anyone had the chance to join there team and look for treasure would you say no ???? And if all they find is wood for another year I’ll still watch it untill they get to the bottom of this island because we all like an adventure so good luck to them am jealous wish I was there
Yep. The trolls that keep harping on about the show being a "waste of time" are themselves wasting their time because CoOI is History's most popular show. These idiots think they could've found the treasure in an afternoon -- sure.
Heidi Wilks well said
Government slithers in and searches the tunnel while its shut down lol
Hello my fellow UA-camrs!
In regards to the swamp, we find small rocks covered by huge boulders . This was used back in the old day as drainage and to hold heavy weight. The swamp holds tunnels and access to the money pit.
I agree.
Seeing that piece of clay that was like untouched material (oval blue clay) and as that was removed, someone flipped it /rotated it 180º and I thought I saw an imprint of a cross there toward the top.
I wondered if anyone there had noticed it too.
getting closer
It was Col. Mustard, in the Library with the lead pipe already!
It would be nice to have a 30,000 foot review of the findings around the island...
1) Ie. A plot of finds according to date overlaid on a map of oak island.
Correlate the different stories to these dates--
2) A model of the underground tunnels correlated via drilling
3) What direction Marty's toonie drifted underground. ( Based on drift direction plot some distance from proposed money pit area that same distance and direction, drill at that point and see if other remains show up ..)
Dating the wood gives information. If you don't understand that, you should ask your school for a refund.
rutabagasteu
That’s what they’re doing. When they mention “dendro” at the end, they’re referring to dendrochronology (tree ring dating.)
People used to think there was a monster in Loch Ness, based on a few grainy black and white photos. There has never been even one photo of the monster since everybody started carrying a camera in their pocket (ie. a smartphone). Strange that. Thousands of people visit Loch Ness every week, all with smartphones, not one new photo of Nessie. Sometimes people will believe anything.
One step closer to a complete waste of time!

You again? How much more of a tool are you going to be regarding this? No way to stop it and that as you know by now is fine with me. If that looks natural to you a mental institution is your best bet at this point! Getting a hold of an addiction hotline wouldn't hurt either because you probably do magic to go along with how much of a tool you really are! A measuring tape that is!
@Todd Sheldon agreed if people are so annoyed dont watch,I'm positive they shouldn't punish themselves watching the KRAPDASHIANS tho
@Todd Sheldon This, Kardashians and Seinfeld are all the same... It's a show about nothing.
Here come the naysayers ... claiming this is all a waste of time ... but yet here they are... just in case.....
Not true. This is posted on my YT. When I open it, I immediately go to the comments. Personally, the whole show is incredibly boring. Millions of dollars wasted on equipment and manhours just so they can get excited over a coin or a board. The curse allegedly says 7 people must die. They need one more. My vote is for the guy with the brown hair and snow white whiskers.

AGAIN?
Talk about miking this series. I couldn't take it anymore, I had to advance from watching the 4th season to the 7th and they got no further ahead in finding the treasure. I might as well quit now. lol
It would of been cheaper and quicker to just dig up the island bit by bit n move it all to 1 side lol
Use the extra dirt that you dig up and use for coffer dam
Kenny Michaud Can’t. Government won’t let them.
The stone at the bottom of the video centre 1:11 is a stone with A cross or T on it.
Sweet - more wood and debris!
Idiot#7
Todd Sheldon hey - I’m a fan if the show. Been one for almost a decade. They’ve made millions by finding wood debris and coming oh so close lol
The mystery is how anyone is still watching this show.
Rick Adams:It has been a long while, but they are just now getting to the point where real facts are driving them. I admire the fact that they are taking a scientific approach and steps to document their progress. Engaging the government and keeping the scientific community involved should help them treat this as an archeological dig, not just a treasure hunt. Anybody who went to all the trouble to build such an elaborate treasure vault, put more than just gold and jewels in it. They will unearth ancient history, both in the architectural design of the vault system, and the treasure it contains. I would be worried about the government claiming it as a national treasure, property of the Canadian people, not something that anyone person or small group can own..
any info on this and how did the Dendrochronology testing go ?
Maybe they could get the guys from Finding Bigfoot to help! They never found anything but managed to stretch it out for 12 seasons (well, 9 seasons plus a few shows they called seasons 10, 11, and 12.)
I've been watching since the beginning. I'm done watching. Call me when it's over.
You know you will keep watching it. Who are you kidding that you wont?
yeah they found wood but did you know that Geico saves you
15% or more on car insurance?
Don't forget Optima Tax Relief. Love that radio jingle!
This show is the funniest TV comedy since Finding Bigfoot. It's a modern day Gilligan's Island without the hot chicks.
R u still digging In This Corona Situation This Year?
I saw it in history tv it was awesome
"Permits" what is wrong with that system? You are allowed to dig a hole and come up with very compelling and interesting data and there is no way they can say that they extend the permits?... so :(
Where did the water come and go to surely that’s a big question
Gravity and high tides. Low tide no. High tide yes.
ask cotton eye Joe
I find wood every morning 🌄
I agree with one of the other comments and ask a miner to come and look at the last video taped and tell if there was a tunnel there and maybe give ideas where to dig.Maybe along the eye of the swamp or where the dirt pile had to be filled in and upward along the wooden wall or in the darken spot in the swamp.Been watching for years, love the adventure. But since the last person died, could he have been fulfilling the curse by now.I don't know the logic in digging but maybe a hole wide enough to go into and pull some of the wood out. Keep digging.
Would love to meet the Lagina's and their team n collab together on the next treasure to be found
Reiterate Again - The only Curse is they keep posting videos!
Yep, nothing again.
Watched this earlier on, now that they are removing the cofferdam at smith's cove, is the crew still involved with the swamp and money pit?
I hope these guys realise.. as soon as they find the treasure.. the government will take it from them..
It sure sounds like a tunnel. Our permits are not going to let us dig anymore this year. ‘THIS YEAR!!!” Wait for it........................wait for it...............wait
It was filmed in 2019.........
I don't get it, they send Rick down in the bucket to take a look in the hole, then they attach a camera to the bucket to drop in the hole to attempt to take a look. Why not just use a drone with a camera?
What's not to get? Did you not see the amount of dirt sluffing off and falling down the hole? There's no way I'd fly a drone in conditions like that.
Couldn't the U shaped structure be a 1700s fish trap.. where the tide would come in and fish would come in.. then when the tide went out it trapped fish inside the U shaped structure?
No thanks I'd rather watch true treasure finds like the steamboat Arabia find or the Atocha. The explanation of the flat button found on oak island was quite an entertaining story, you don't fool all of us.
Just proving it all out is a treasure trove imo
Like playing the slot machines. They’ve gambled so much, they just can’t stop. So sad 😞
Bravi🙏🙏🙏🙏 ma quando in TV 📺 in Italia 🇮🇹
Thats some Templar wood 100%
Can we all agree that it’s an ancient alien septic system and move on.
Will there be any season filmed this year because of corronavirus.
72mossy probably not
you guy's milked this long enough.
Let's get those people who alleged buried the treasure back. It's obvious they had better technology 120 years ago than we have now with our excavators and drilling technology
I wonder how much longer can the History Channel milk this program?
Who is behind this project dumping all this money in the money pit to keep it on the air.
Lol there was no permanents back then
Environmental regulations
That’s the difference
im betting the swamp was filled from the spoils of the dig the paved area might lead close to an entrance
Corona will kill 1 more man before the treasure is found
It's gonna kill a 1000 people before they find any treasure
Unfortunately you’re right and this effort won’t be back for probably 2-3 years if they even do come back.
I felt like Dan Blankenship's passing was maybe #7.
You know, if they don't find something, be it treasure, love, a new found respect for nature, anything, I think every fan deserves a free hit on the brother of your choice. Be it Bob Saget or the greatest of all time (goat).
I wonder, most contries have special laws about ancient arceological artifacts and how they are digged up, this seams so destructive i wonder if its legal
Interesting
What about the other side of the hole they are digging down???,,If its a tunnel it wouldnt just stop where they are digging, there would be tunnel stuff on both sides of the hole they are digging down
No!! Does that mean they won't be at the island for the year?
@Jezidca Good question.......
Sad that the Canadian government is more interested in money than history .
Every episode I watch revolves around permits 🤯
Por qué han quitado de Historia la maldicion de Oak Island? En España no se ve hace 2 semanas...
Next year, the shaft will be filled and the contents will in someone's basement and kept secret.
@zeropoint That's probably what happened with the missing 90-foot stone.
They probably spent more money financing this than what they’ll find. It’s interesting though.
This is a weird little island..wish they'd hurry up and find something good lol
How did people dig that far down with just spades
They didn't. The Knights Templar had state of the art drilling equipment and procured a contract with Caterpillar heavy duty equipment which made things very easy back in the 1400's........
Relics found on the island prove that at one time there was hundreds of soldiers in the island. To dig a 100 foot plus deep hole, plus entranceways from Smith's cove you would need an army.
Now, why the Laginas just don't just excavate the entire area puzzles me. Maybe they're trying to string along the show, but what they don't understand is that the reasons why an ultra successful show (like Big Bang Theory) gets cancelled is that there are demands on the network from every side and eventually a show just gets too expensive to produce (both metaphorically and literally). The network will unexpectedly pull the plug on the Laginas and they will have little to show for it. At that point any investors will DEMAND that the island be excavated.
@@The_Dudester I think the reason why the Laginas don't excavate the entire area is because of the issue with the provincial permits that must be obtained in order to do excavations. From what I understand, Oak Island is the ONLY island of the 360+ islands in Mahone Bay where treasure hunting licenses are issued by the government and any treasure or ancient artifacts found on any of the other islands must be turned over to the government. That sucks! The workings on Oak Island were definitely a major mining and marine engineering project whenever it occurred. Mr. Fred Nolan was absolutely correct long ago when he approached Oak Island from an archaeological standpoint. The Geological Survey of Canada (a department of the Canadian federal government) did extensive research with a research vessel in the waters of Mahone Bay adjacent to Oak Island back in the 1990's, subsequently producing detailed bathymetric maps of the sea floor and the government basically viewed Oak Island as an archaeological dig eventually requiring the searchers on the island to have a licensed archaeologist and a geologist and "who knows else" present at all times. Apparently, archaeologist Laird Niven has an office on Oak Island that he works out of. You are correct that the producers of the show and History Channel are dragging this top-rated Number One show out for all it's worth, as there is too much money involved with this show and even the naysayers and the trolls watch this show religiously! Go figure!.... LOL!!! We also must remember that this sensation-oriented Reality TV show is "Entertainment" and is NOT a Documentary about the Oak Island mystery and is not a show about getting answers or solving the Oak Island mystery. That truly sucks! Sorry so Lengthy!
We Noticed his Son is there now..Curious ..does he have a job or just this. He looks 30. Curious we are!!
I’ve seen the ground penetrating radar used in several shows now without a single incident of it producing an actual finding. Seems to me the technology needs vast improvement before it can be considered anything but “pseudoscience.”
Why dont check it out even better with a drone
The archeology is interesting, too many mungos expecting a pile of gold ...

And it might have just been a burial coffin with a skeleton in it
Heh.. lagina.. always looking for a shaft
Mud, rock, wood
Looks like an expensive field of archeology...

VERY DANGEROUS PUTTING SOMEONE IN THE BUCKET AND GOING DOWN SO DEEP. EXCAVATOR COULD HAVE TIPPED IN AND KILLED THE GUY IN THE BUCKET.
Yeah then it would have been number 7 and then they can finally find the treasure 😉😉
They never put someone down on the bucket, they tied a camera to the bucket only
@@ryangibson4606 If you watched the actual episode, you would have seen Rick Lagina lowered into the hole using the excavator bucket. Then they decided to attach the camera to the bucket.
Hi everyone its Karen. I've got a problem.
It's just a tree boys someone's been planting trees underground..
U ALL SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE CURSE ALONE.
Not sure if ill keep watching oak island... all they talk about is HOW MUCH WOOD THEY GOT!
The treasure of Oak Island is the story. Quite interesting but I quit paying attention a couple years ago because of how predictable the presentation formula has become.
There's nothing there to find. They're stumbling upon old junk left behind by people who may have hid a treasure but it's now gone and from junk left behind by previous searchers.
We gotta wait a year again. What's new

Roto-rooter has taken a internal video of the collapsed Blakenship septic tank. Notice it said Lot 19, Is there a connection to a releasing of COVID-19? Stay tuned.
@Johnny Smoke *BREAKING NEWS*: You are really on to something there! Keep in mind, the Fellowship Of The Dig have done so much excavating on Oak island that even the naysayers on here are admitting that the searchers have dug all the way to China. This would explain how COVID-19 had its start in China! And now, global/international passenger air travel has brought the septic tank virus full-circle and right back to us here in Canada--- THE OAK ISLAND CURSE! As you probably are aware from the News, the Canada / U.S. border is closed to all non-essential traffic and the Province of Nova Scotia is under a State of Emergency which includes Oak Island.
