@@WeeklySpiral I agree. I know the story of, "They're in their second season and know the system and each other better now, " isn't as sexy as all the other narratives the media and the internet come up with, but I think it's true. Their defense still needs to figure some stuff out.
Notice how he uses different formations to prevent the mesh concept from being predictable. Something that became a constant theme under Mccarthy was the predictability of his offense.
Air Raid guys everywhere are smiling happily in their homes. It's a super versatile play that a lot of teams have integrated. Cool to see teams use bits and pieces from a bunch of different schemes and make them their own
Wow, so glad i found this channel. Absolutely awesome content. I love the way how quickly and effectively you explain the breakdowns. Its clear how much effort you guys put in to ensure each video is stuffed with detail without becoming long-winded and boring. Highly entertaining. As a packer fan i would love to see videos on davante adans, aaron jones, z smith and preston smith. Keep up the awesome content!
So basically the packers need degura that they picked in the draft to be that big guy that disrupts and becomes that other option for catching as well hmm
That's why they drafted him. Create mismatches and add one more weapon for short and medium downs. Whether they should have drafted a wr or not, Deguara and Dillon hopefully prove to be weapons you can't ignore. It served to keep defenses guessing run/pass and also(in theory) shove clear out traffic gravitating to Devante. They need to be right on this and really can't afford too many injuries to playmakers. But even if it does work and hold up, my gut tells me they will need to look for a #2/3 veteran wr with some experience.
I've been watching every Packer game for the last 19 years and I have never seen receivers running backs and tight ends run so wide open I'm talking college wide open
He definitely seems like he's taken some steps forward. I was really impressed with the run game plan against the Vikings in week 1. He did a really good job of layering and stacking plays. Had a counter of every motion and play he called. Looks promising if he continues.
Yep im really hoping they get someone to help Kenny on the D line! If they get that one piece they will be a much more complete team! Go #12 Go!! Go Pack Go!!
Yes, immediate SUB from me; that was great analysis. I'm Australian, so I didn't grow up with the game, so this kind of content, so well explained, and with my favourite team, is really appreciated. Thank you.
2:51 While watching the game live, it looked like Rodgers was throwing the ball in the general direction of Sternberger, to get the refs to look at the play. Rodgers plays on field referee, often. While teams are in the middle of switching, he'll call for a no huddle quick snap to catch too many men on the field. On 4th and short, he runs the play clock down, to try and draw the other team offsides. Etc. On that play, I'm thinking Rodgers saw something and wanted the refs to see it, too.
It's definitely possible. In the All-22 though, he's not in a rush and starts the play under center before checking out to shotgun. The Vikings were a little late running a guy over to Sternberger, but they weren't subbing. He's a master at catching defenses unprepared but I'd guess that he just liked the match up. Can't fault him too much for taking a shot when you have a guy he believed could win.
@@WeeklySpiral against rookie corners on top of it. Its Awesome to watch a precise and intelligent Qb go to work! Rodgers is Elite and the scheme makes him look god-like!
If Davante and Josiah can play than that helps a lot. The Saints would have to account for Adams and Jones. It gives Lafluer what he wants to run against a defense that isn't playing so well
i had no idea they ran that play so many times. its like the new packers sweep, i think deguara would be a great addition to it and hope he comes back soon
We'll have to wait and see how he chooses to attack the 49ers. They didn't have the plan or the execution last year for San Francisco. As Mike Tyson said: "Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth". The 49ers definitely hit them in the mouth both times. I think the Packers will learn from that this year though. LaFleur is growing and learning as a playcaller and head coach. There's reason for optimism in Green Bay.
Don’t know why they got away from some of their bread and butter stuff. They ran the same empty mesh concept on Sunday with Aaron Jones that they hit for a big gain against the Lions but Rodgers got to it late on 3rd down and Jones didn’t have time to turn the corner. Just seemed totally out of rhythm even when the calls were solid.
I know incidental contact isn't the same as OPI but Lafleur & his predecessors in Tennessee seem to get away with these rubs alot more consistently than most teams. Don't think this works for most teams. Lots of teams that aren't the Packers get called.

Anti packer fans might argue that the lions and vikings are not great teams..I say a great offense can make any team look not to good. GO PACK GO!
As a team not only have the had the most points of any both of the 1st 2 weeks but almost all divisional match ups are more hard hitting and tighter games. Not with the 1st 2 teams. I hope they kick the ever lovin hell out of the bears still suck!!! 😁

Great film analysis man. Keep the Packers breakdowns coming!
Appreciate it. I'm sure there will be more down the line! I've been impressed with LaFleur so far this season.

I can’t believe I just found this channel. It’s absolutely criminal you don’t have more subs. This analysis is easily top 5 on UA-cam right now.
I appreciate it a ton man. Glad you enjoyed the breakdown. Excited to continue to grow

mcCarthy still won whereas Matt has not
The Bills meshed it up vs the Phins last week as well.
Air raid really taking over the pros

This guy is smarter than everyone at ESPN.

He has looked pretty good the first game he played
More packers breakdowns, good job

It really is awesome to see when schemes click on teams. Everything just becomes so much easier

You've earned a sub forsure this is great shit I'm actually learning
I appreciate it a lot. Glad you learned something and enjoyed it. Best compliment to hear.
How do you think LaFleur is doing as coach in his 2nd year. He seems pretty crafty to me and it's scary tbh

Great video - actually learned something :)

Nothing scarier for a DB than a big guy running full speed in space that they have to make a tackle on
Please keep the packers breakdowns coming
Shallow cross/Mesh is everywhere! Glad the irrational hate for Airraid and spread concepts has begun to disappear.
Great vid
Is this what is considered scheming a wr open?
Definitely one of the ways you can scheme someone open
I like your analysis. I gives me a lot more confidence in La Fleur’s play calling. Is his game plan good enough to beat the 49ers and the Chiefs?
We'll have to wait and see how he chooses to attack the 49ers. They didn't have the plan or the execution last year for San Francisco. That saints game brought me here. They need to get back to this

Mesh is always used to beat man coverages tight man at that

Bears fans need to find the drop on the opps
3-0 now!
Yeah scheming up trading up for a back up QB in the first round even after your QB said he wants to play for multiple years to come
4-0
Waiting to get a quarterback until your starting QB decides to retire is incredibly irresponsible.
Watch rodgers become a 97 ovr in madden, have the highest passing yards end of season, and get MVP😭😭I can see it now ☺️
you were right on MVP 🥳
4-0 BOIS
*Go pack Go* *hatters believe they are experts* 😂
