We have a New Zealand White rabbit named Cotton that we built a huge playpen in our living room for. We definitely spend more on her than our dogs . Our pups get their treats too but there's a lot more to buy than just treats for rabbits. They need lots of fresh veggies and fruit, Timothy hay, toys, hard chew treats, and litter for their box. We weren't sure if the pups would tolerate her but we've never had any problems. She fits right in with the family and now we can't see being without her! When we get home from work she runs to the end of her playpen for us to pick her! She's so sweet!

When our daughter was young she had 2 rabbits...she even read a book on hypnosis and hypnotised the rabbit to never leave the back yard so he could roam free and it worked
Years ago, when my kids were little, we had a Belgian. He was about 8 to 10 pounds, bigger than our Dachshund. He had his own litter box and free reign in the house. He was a great rabbit, played with the dog and our cat. He got sick and passed away, a very sad day for the family.

I had a bunny when I was little. His name was Captain Crunch. He was my first pet. He always ate my mother's corn broom (back in the 60s). He used to go under the fence in the backyard, and feast in my neighbour's garden. I really loved him ♥️
I had dwarf bunnies from the time I was 6 until 17. They lived in nice hutches my dad built and we would bring them out every day. They wore leashes but would stay near us even without them. Great pets but a lot of work. Going out in all kinds of weather to feed and water them. Good way to teach kids responsibility.

I had a bunny when I was little. His name was Captain Crunch. He was my first pet. He always ate my mother's corn broom (back in the 60s). He used to go under the fence in the backyard, and feast in my neighbour's garden. I really loved him ♥️

I had dwarf bunnies from the time I was 6 until 17. They lived in nice hutches my dad built and we would bring them out every day. They wore leashes but would stay near us even without them. Great pets but a lot of work. Going out in all kinds of weather to feed and water them. Good way to teach kids responsibility.
