Aww thank you! It's really great when I can speak to these items! I have learned a while ago people with accessibility needs appreciate seeing a ship or experience in advance more than most to ensure it works for them. Glad you enjoyed!
On my last trip I was at Blue Lagoon and did the Eco-walking tour. In that tour, we got to see the stingrays and sharks pool area. But I was not going to support these types of excursions, as I always feel bad for the animals in captivity.
@@kristenp7515 I’ve seen people use them, but never saw what happen to the wheelchair they came in. There are still logistical problems but it’s nice to see them. For what it is worth, I was recently asked about lifts on the pools onboard and wasn’t sure which ships since I’m not in the pools and can transfer anyway. I learned pushing a wheelchair in school that there are a lot of things that you don’t see, for example restrooms that have double doors the first one pushes the second on pulls. Thanks for documenting the chairs, many people can’t walk in sand!
Hi Mike, thanks for your concern over me wearing mascara. I assure you, I am not talented enough to apply makeup and do not have a makeup crew just yet....
I'll be there first week of November. It's my wife's idea to go. I don't want to go. I'd rather stay in the states. There be too many people wanting to do the same as me. I want to swim with dolphins but I don't want to share my time I pay for, with anyone else.
Hope it all works out for you and you have as good of a time as you can. They do offer private encounters for additional money - think you can upgrade once there if the cruise line doesn't offer it. (don't hold me too that).
Another great informative story! And BTW great cover story picture!
Thank you!
I love this little series on Blue Lagoon Island. Looking forward to the next video.
Thank you! It's a great place and hope they do well
Again! You’re giving wonderful information
Thank you Joyce!!!
That island is breathtaking!!!!
Right?!?
@@TheWeekendCruiser you are living your best life. Whoa! 😍😍😍
We did the Dolphin Encounter @ Blue Lagoon Island - we enjoyed it!
That's awesome Kristen!
As someone who has assessability needs, this is very informative 👍🏽

Thanks Brent!
Very informative, thank you.
My pleasure! Hope you have a blast if you decide to head over!
Thank you so much! We travel with a wheelchair and it's very valuable your information! 👏👏👏
Very glad to hear! Always try to call out mobility options when possible!

Glad you were able to enjoy the Eco-walking tour and understand your feelings on the animals.
Not sure if I missed it but can you book the dolphin encounter and the stingray encounter or just one of the two ?
Check with the shore excursion team. I believe you should be able to do both if the times line up
How much do the photos with the dolphins cost ?
Hey Hailee, I don't remember this number but trust they are tourist prices :-)
You mentioned accessibility but not whether there were sand wheelchairs. I know it’s a minor point unless you actually need one!
He showed pics of the sand wheel chairs @ 5:40 in this video.
@@kristenp7515 Thanks, I missed it.
@@Reed-2big No problem - I wasn’t sure if that’s what you were looking for but glad it was. :)
@@kristenp7515 I was looking for the grey wheels, I didn’t look at that pic carefully, my bad.
