Nailed it big time! I can't stop playing this. Jonathan's raised octaves at 2:25 and 3:55 are incredible!! Both guys are so talented and their passion for this song is contagious.

Awesome--I was stationed at Nellis AFB from 79-83. This was our song (my AFB brothers) and me. Had to listen to it each time one of us got transferred. Paying anything to roll the dice just one more time. Came across this and I am totally blown away. Great job you guys.
In a world of a million covers of one beloved song, yours still stands among them as worthy of all the emotion, love, and epicness as any of the greats. Is it my favorite? No. But you cannot truly have a favorite of a song like this. I place this cover alongside the original, the one from glee (yes I watch it for the music) and even Rock of Ages. Some of the best covers of this amazing song and you guys never cease to amaze me with each song. I live, love and sing through you vicariously. Hyles and Young, Don't Stop Believing. Because I never will stop believing in you both.

I want you to know there is no singer I admire more than you Caleb. Ever since I was young I loved rock and roll and wanted to be a singer even though I never could sing well. I listen to your songs every day and they continue to inspire me. Because of you I took vocal lessons and learned how to sing. I am getting better every day at singing and my range continues to expand as I mirror my own octave with yours. I want to be just like you when I get better. You are my idol. Thank you for changing my life through your music.

I was around when this originally came out. Journey was "MY" group...they were my Backstreet Boys, my One Direction, my BTS...of the 80s. Journey was my first concert in 1983. 🎵🎵

This was pretty much my school song, every dance, almost every graduation i attended to (friends in multiple grades) including mine, has always played this song as tradition. Ive alwaysed had good memories and alwaysed loved the song, and i cant tell you how much you made me happy and honestly brought tears to my eyes to hear such an amazing version of this nostalgic song.

This song holds a special meaning to me. I fell out at a rock club with my best friend, I felt awful all night. I was so angry and hurt, she felt the same...but at the end of the night? This song came on and we bumped into each other. Soon as the pre chorus hit - we hugged tight and cried. Then proceeded to belt out the song together, having fun, like it should be.
The way you two harmonized with each other sent a chill up and down my spine... You guys are both phenomenal!

@@stingerjohnny9951 Freddie had a vocal range of ... 4 octaves I believe? Which is very impressive by itself. What made him so special was how he used his voice, though. He played it like an intrument and had very unique twists.
You can cover his songs very sucessfully as long as you don't try to copy Freddie.

Agreed!!! Journey (especially when Steve Perry was the lead) are hard to cover but these 2 made it work. I usually dont like covers of journey but I loved this cover. Ever since I had my daughter (almost 7 years ago) I sang this song to her and I put this on and she sang along and fell right to sleep

The left guy gave his all right off the bst; the right dude made for a nice contrast in voice and demeanor but blew me away on the 2nd verse. Both were fantastic but because one subconsciously subverted my expectations of him, it made for an even more incredible package.
I have been tilting between liking this song and actually listening to it voluntarily since I heard Journey's version - and then I saw this.
Suddenly, hindsight is telling me that given you guys' history for covering cult classics like this one, a cover of Don't Stop Believing by you two was inevitable. Great work as always.
