Bad beat story: A guy at the table had stepped out for a smoke. One player tabled quads, the other said I'm not slow rolling you but I'm not showing my cards until he gets back. The guy comes back two minutes later, we're all waiting for him to fold or call. He tables his straight flush. Apparently at this casino you only get paid the bad beat if you are physically seated at the table and the guy with the nuts knew that. Pretty classy move, i wasn't aware of that policy but dang that would've been a 2,000 cigarette. Harrah's Cherokee 2017
@jakethesnake1366 wow that's incredibly classy move there for sure. Mgm is cut throat and you have to be dealt into the hand. So one guy went to the bathroom and didn't get anything. But we took care of that guy too
Really nice move from the guy with the nuts where I played a guy busted he went for a smoke but when u busy u have 15 m until ur seat is removed and the bad beat hit soon after AT HIS TABLE so he got around 80 000$ for a smoke break even though he wasn’t physically there hahaa best smoke break ever
I ❤ these vlogs. I have been sending these to some novice players that I know and they love them. There are so many concepts applied and explained - you narrated the 7♦️6♦️ hand perfectly. Fifth Street Chicken (BART!), The Right Price To Call, and really the Meta & Table Talk on how to correctly use it. It is such a key at the poker table is to be humble. It’s a rarity these days to hear a poker player say - I got outplayed. Congrats on the BBTS!
@FreddyEwan2timeGMoftheYear thank you. And yes from Bart Hanson! I feel when you look at things from a humble and honest perspective it helps you to get better instead of just making excuses.
Great vlogs..... just one point for 1/3 when you have a $90 stack you should be looking to shove when you raised $15 then got three betted to $40 it's an automatic shove you need to see all 5 cards. Great you hit jackpot! Keep up the good work!
Nice run! I play MGM and I’ve been gone for a couple weeks. Not sure if the bad beat hit but it was frozen for a long time and if not for being frozen should’ve been somewhere around 300 K! Great job.
@jrminor2408 ty it was so tempting. But on that board if he hit a miracle 2 outer I'm getting stacked regardless. And I'm in position in case he checked I can still put money in the pot
@Mikey-g4g if I have a flopped set of aces and the board isn't dangerous maybe I'd consider a slow play. But any other set definitely not. If I flop a set of aces I have a 35% chance to boat up and win a high. However with any other set I flop only a 5% chance to make quads so the risk reward is only making sense with aces

@mack's Bet i heard about that Bad Beat that happened and the guy didn't know that he had a straight flush. I told people at my table that he don't need to play poker anymore if you were about to fold that hand. Were everyone at the table paid out a certain percentage? I heard that the loser gets like 40%
@staceymurdock2277 yeah but the thing is he flopped a straight. It went runner runner straight flush for him. In his mind he lost when board paired on turn. Essentially he hit a 1 outer on the river. But he did hold his cards for awhile amd with a little encouragement he tabled his hand lol. Soon glad he didn't tho. I needed this
You played the heart flush good- always get value on the river… but where you messed up is, showing your hand. You have to put player in the blender and have them thinking all day. Stop giving them the answers!
@AnthonyReynolds-ii7ce yeah alot of people say that but I make vlogs showing my hands. But even worse explaining My thought process. At this point alot of people recognize me do I dont mind being nice. I could show my hand every time and still wreck the field 🤣🤣

Hard to fold a straight, but when he leads into multiple players it's a pretty easy fold. Gotta play disciplined especially at small stakes.
